• Urs (10/5): Das Hotel ist ideal, um nach einer lägeren Reise durch Peru zu entspannen - Sehr charmante Unterkunft, direkt am Strand. Geräumiges Zimmer mit Ausblick aufs Meer. Sehr ruhig, sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstück, welches aus einer guten Auswahl serviert wird. Es gab nichts auszusetzen.

• Roberto (10/5): Perfecto para el relax junto a la playa - El alojamiento es perfecto, está situado céntrico pero tranquilo, las instalaciones cuidadas y acogedoras, limpio y cómodo. Una habitación con terraza donde escuchas el mar perfecto para relajarte. Desayuno continental abundante y de calidad Por decir algo, si tuviese una piscina y un pequeño bar sería ya perfecto. Solo hay una cosa que es buena para la seguridad de los clientes pero incómoda, el recinto está totalmente cerrado y hay que avisar para salir y entrar siempre. Se podría solucionar con un portero automático o una tarjeta digital para entrar.

• Abby (8/5): Excellent location. Would come again! - Excellent location. Right on the beach. Plenty of space for chilling out in the hammocks or relaxing on the beach. There is no restaurant or bar, but we tried the two restaurants next door and the food and drinks were amazing so this was not a problem, plus you can buy drinks and coconuts on the beach. Perfect for those that love to surf as it’s right on the break with surfboard hire next door. We saw loads of turtles feed on the edge of the reef where the surf breaks. Fantastic! The night security guard was quite insistent in asking for tips. Bathrooms were a little tired, but clean.

• Susan (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing hotel - The hotel is like a boutique hotel. The whole place instills a sense of calm and relaxation. The breakfast area was on a terrace outside, peaceful, beautiful and the breakfast had a number good options. From our balcony overlooking the sea we were able to enjoy the surfers and the sound of the sea. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had lots of pressure. We did keep our patio door open all night and enjoyed the sound of the sea and a breeze. They had lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach directly in front of the hotel for our use. It was extremely close to lots of restaurants, shops and surf schools. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. The hot water can be hit or miss. The surfing is spectacular but there are lots of rocks in front of the hotel making access to the water difficult as well as swimming. These small negatives in no way detracted from our overall wonderful experience.

A beautiful and thoughtfully designed hotel. The picture-perfect vacation lodgings :) Carefully maintained. Calm, peaceful, shaded by coconut palms. Perfect location. Set apart a bit from town. RIGHT ON THE SURF BREAK , with it's own set of comfy beach recliners from which to view those waves :) Fun to watch the surfers on the very close waves, even if not surfing yourself. My room was 30 feet from the beach :) Lovely private covered outdoor space, an extension of the room itself. Comfortable hammocks and working spaces in the common area :) This section of Mancora's beach is absolutely delightful. Very pretty beach walk. Beautiful sunsets. I am here in December, and found the beach very uncrowded, friendly and relaxing. Easy to walk to anything needed in town. Good food nearby. I hope to return very soon ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Limited engagement from the staff Very quiet, very little atmosphere. Didn’t like that the gates were locked early and needed security man to let us in and out. Breakfast would have preferred buffet, limited choice of food available.
• Holger (7/5): For one time nice, not again, sadly. - Rooms are ok, small, bathrooms are small, but doable. Breakfast is simple, but ok, Internet works, but is weak and range not well covered. They watch out for safety at night, and staff is helpful and friendly. Now, this comes from a European approach, there is no pool, which is a shame, as the beach, the strong sun, the many stones out on the beack, the strong waves make swimming a bit tough. Sadly, there are no desks in the rooms, so you can't work or use a laptop, etc. Also there are no TVs, which was shocking, if you come for a few days, what do you do? The town is not that nice, and in the evening, it gets boring. And its noisy, you hear beach sounds, town sounds, nearby parties, all the time.
• Cookievv (8/5): The wonderful staff makes the place rock. - The best thing about the property without doubt were the amazing staff - namely Cesar the night security guard, Andy the grounds man and Estell the wonderful cleaning lady. The wifi was really bad during my stay so I had to turn on my roaming nearly every evening. The breakfast could be much better.

I made some errors with my booking but the staff helped us out without hassle. The only thing I can think of is that it would have been awesome if they could open a small bar service or similar during the day to be able to enjoy something to drink during the day at their wonderful terrace.

You're just meters from the ocean and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The balconies and hammocks are great. Reserved chairs on the beach too. Staff were nice and breakfast was tasty. Cosy complex, not to big and a very nice place to eat your breakfast. Spacious room and big bed. Friendly staff. Rooms are noisy. Not only the sound of the waves but also the bass from the parties and your neighbours especially the ones right above you.
• Darcy (9/5): A place for beach lovers! - Front doorstep is the beach. Our sea view room had views of the ‘surf point’. Nice friendly staff. Very large bed. Very large room. Great balcony. Fridge. Fast wifi. Cable TV. They let us check out at 3:30pm at no extra cost. Bathroom was a bit dated (shower head and sink require upgrade). Wooden stairs going up to 2nd/3rd floors are so squeaky and loud. Rates are a tad expensive.

• Matthew (8/5): - Property was very pleasant to stay at. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is great and right on the beach. I appreciated the supervised gates for entry. Breakfast was delicious. Comfortable to relax and enjoy a book. Wish the bed sheets were slightly better quality (i.e. more comfortable) and would suggest having some way to rinse off feet coming in from the beach. Otherwise I tracked sand all over the hallway and room.
