- Elizabeth (8/5): - Our king bedroom was clean and The rooftop bar and grill restaurant had great food and service for dinner but the first breakfast morning was frustrating. Some hiccup with their staff as it took forever to place the order, twice as long to receive it and then arrived wrong. 2nd morning was excellent. EV charging convenient and efficient. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Only thing - photos of the prawn Linguine shows whole fresh prawns not frozen peeled ones like a normal pub feed- perhaps let ppl know that fresh is unavailable whilst ordering

- Michelle (6/5): - Staff were lovely, however the room was disappointing for the cost. Beds were average, no microwave, an ironing board that was difficult to locate without instruction and no mini bar. I've had better facilities in a $200 per night room.
- Phillip (8/5): A Quality Hotel but starting to show its age. - For us Bannisters was a mixed experience. The overall feel of the hotel is one of quality. The staff were universally friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooftop restaurant was excellent with a great ambience. The pool area was also a very pleasant place to spend some time though the pool itself was on the smaller side. So far so positive, but the room itself, whilst satisfactory, was not quite of the same quality.Wifi is provided by an unsecured network and signal strength is very variable throughout the hotel but poor in our room. Easily the worst of the 16 hotels we stayed in on this vacation. Some of the woodwork in the room was showing signs of wear and the white comfy chairs looked better than they were to sit in. The safe was inconveniently placed in a wall mounted cupboard and too small to take either my laptop or camera. Not so in similar quality hotels that we have stayed in this holiday. There had obviously been a problem with the bathroom door and the repair had clearly been done cheaply. The toilets, whilst superficially clean, had limescale both around the rim and at the bottom of the bowl. Perhaps what one might expect in a small scale motel not in one that operates in Bannister's intended market. To be fair, I must say that the room we stayed in 6 days later was much better but still starting to show its age.

The air conditioning didn’t work in the room, it didn’t get below 25.5 degrees and we barely slept it was so humid. Staff didn’t seem to care. Won’t come here again. It’s overpriced.

- Kim (10/5): Short break at Mollymook - Just enjoyed a 2 night stay at Bannisters Pavillion at Mollymook. Room was very comfortable and quiet. We were not on street side so not sure how noise is there. We had a lovely breakfast each day that was included. Plenty of options to suit most tastes. We also had a delughtful dinner at the rooftop bar and grill. I had a Balinese coconut curry with Baramundi and my husband had a steak dish, and grilled prawns. Delicious. We also walked to the beach for a swim as it was not very far from the hotel. There was a shuttle bus that went between Pavillion and Bannisters on the Sea if needed but didn't have time to check this out. All in all had a lovely few days and will be back again soon

- HEATHER (10/5): - Bannisters was comfortable and relaxed, with everything we needed. Even though we chose the cheaper room with a garden aspect, the outlook was lovely - rain forest. A highlight was an easy walk to Mollymok beach in the morning we saw dolphins and a sea eagle , with time to buy a coffee from the Bannisters coffe can before the checkout time if 10.30. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

- Frances (10/5): Fabulous Bannisters - We had an amazing two nights. So relaxing. We didn’t dine at Rick Stein’s. choosing to dine at the pool bar. I felt the menu was a little limited.

We dined at the Rooftop for breakfast, lunch and dinner and at Rick Steins for a three-course dinner and our food was divine and service excellent. We also attended the spa, and our massages were also spot on! We will definitely be back!

The pool was great, the food was great and the coffee cart out the front was great. If you didn't want to eat at the hotel, there was a takeaway and a pizza place across the road (the pizzas were nice!).

- Sue (6/5): - For a "luxury" property this feels more like a poorly maintained country motel stopover. More expensive than 5* Sydney hotels... definitely not worth the money. Eg toilet seat broken, bathroom sink has open drain, coffee cart in foyer makes it extremely difficult to enter or exit the property. Bar staff were more interested in gossiping with each other and dancing than making sure customers were looked after. Lack of parking. Amenities???
- Kenneth (8/5): - It is a very relaxing place. The room was good. It is quite expensive for the area, so it was surprising that the included very enjoyable and relaxed breakfast included only one cup of coffee without extra payment. Maybe they wish to discourage lingering in the breakfast area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Ocean Views - Very comfortable well equipped room with a great view of the ocean & beach. But for the price we paid for a weekend stay I dont expect to have to clean the toilet myself. The standard of house keeping could be improved.

- Peter (8/5): Great Ambience - Overall feel of the place was very good. Only area for improvement was the layout of the room , the seating area was a little cramped.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location was a bit odd, seemingly in the middle of a residential suburb. Some of the advertising photos are misleading as multiple photos are used from other sites. Saying that the room was very nice and very clean and comfortable but the 'garden view' was a colorbond roof with some trees behind. Check in was great and the girl that served us was fantastic and very friendly, thank you. The room also had some special items as it was a special occasion. The staff in the roof top bar/restaurant however were terrible. All young and no one experienced to run the service. Told 3 times that they offered table service but no one came! It wasn't that busy and the staff were walking around and chatting so I had to go to the bar to order, and again to pay as no one came to ask did we want another drink etc....There was also an older couple in front of us that kept looking around for service which also never came! When I explained this on leaving I got the typical millennial attitude of oh, ah, it got busy etc. and a fake apology. My advice is to get an experienced front of house person to run the staff. As I said, the room and check in staff are great but the roof top was not. A guest should not have to chase staff for service.... For the price it was not worth it.

- Christos (8/5): - Bannisters Pavilion provided us a nice relaxing place for our 4 day getaway. It’s a quiet place with some local businesses close by. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We found both the Rooftop Grill and Rick Stein by the Sea both overrated in their quality of food - judging from the reviews previously posted. There are some other nice restaurants in Ulladulla which is a 10 minute drive.
