Hamid (10/5): One word: Excellent. - Our stay at Hotel La Pau was absolutely wonderful and honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants, shopping areas, attractions, and public transport, while still feeling calm and comfortable. The atmosphere of the hotel is warm, stylish, and very relaxing. The rooms were clean, modern, quiet, and very comfortable after long days exploring the city. One of the nicest touches was the complimentary tea, coffee, croissants, sweets, and snacks available for guests throughout the day, which made the experience feel even more welcoming and generous. Breakfast was excellent with fresh and tasty options every morning, and the rooftop area was beautiful — peaceful, calm, and perfect for relaxing away from the busy streets of Barcelona. What truly made this hotel special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Special thanks to Isabel, Memel, Tom, Baleria, and Elena for making us feel so welcome during our stay. Their kindness, positive attitude, and attention to detail created such a lovely atmosphere and made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Barcelona and looking for a hotel with a perfect location, amazing hospitality, and a relaxing atmosphere.
Martina (6/5): - Schöne Rooftop Terasse. Relativ neues Hotel. Bequemes, grosses Bett. Die Suit ist es sehr dunkel und düster. Der Fussboden im Zimmer ist nicht sauber. Auch im Hotel allgemein ist es sehr düster. In der Suit gibt es keinen Tisch und Stühle zum Essen. Die Regendusche funktioniert nicht richtig. Das Frühstück ist Qualitativ nicht gut. Es steht jeden Tag praktisch dasselbe auf dem Buffet.

Diamondjewl (10/5): Best hotel in Barcalona! - LOVED EVERYTHING! This is a wonderful boutique hotel in Barcalona. They cater to you before you step into the premises! The staff are amazing, the breakfast is delicious, the rooms are comfortable, beautiful and the beds are soooooo comfortable! There's a sweet rooftop with loungers and a small pool. They have an honor bar on the terrace and in the dining room. It is in a safe area, great restaurants, close to the cruise terminal and 25 min to the airport via taxis. I highly recommend this hotel for couples! Not one complaint!

Daniela (9/5): Tolle Lage und großartiges Personal, etwas preisintensiv - Rund um die Uhr Kaffee & "Honesty Bar" mit Kleinigkeiten, Lage top, Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstück war nicht ganz so üppig, aber es ist auch ein Boutique Hotel und man konnte recht viel bestellen. Zimmergröße für Barcelona sehr gut und Ausstattung okay. Deutsche TV Sender vorhanden Pool war gerade mal zum Plantschen und ich hätte mir einen kleinen Fitnessbereich gewünscht. Auf den Terrassenmöbel waren leider Zigarettenasche, vermutlich von den Balkonen darüber. Es fehlte leider die Möglichkeit, irgendwo mit Laptop zu arbeiten.

Natalie (10/5): Five stars! - The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The property was lovely, breakfast delicious, and the bed very comfortable. It’s also the first hotel I’ve stayed at that had a diffuser for curls. I felt seen! When I needed to extend my stay last-minute, they arranged an upgraded room for me so I wouldn’t have to change rooms, and even included breakfast. Their responses were quick and professional. All the amenities and thoughtful touches you could need. Five stars! This is nitpicking, but I didn’t see any wash cloths, only hand and bath towels. I would’ve liked those for the shower, or even a dark wash cloth for removing makeup.

Dan (10/5): Cel mai prietenos hotel - Amplasarea este excelenta, aproape de La Rambla si de plaja. Totodata, la 200m de hotel este statia de metrou. Personalul a fost extraordinar, de la check-in pana la check-out toata lumea s-a straduit sa nu ne lipseasca nimic si sa ne simtim cat mai bine. Micul dejun e diversificat, avand inclusiv fructe proaspete. Sus, pe acoperis, este o terasa pe care ne-am putut relaxa dupa-amiezele, savurand o Cava.
Sascha (9/5): Beautiful, interior designed, boutique hotel - Enjoyed this boutique hotel- the core refurb it went through a couple of years ago, really elevated the design aspect of this place. Stunning ceilings, great interior design. My room was spacious and elegant. If I had one snag, then I would have preferred more comfortable tables for the breakfast area. Mine was too low and the ‘normal’-ones were taken. Little issue but distracting at the time.

sara (10/5): Faultless hotel! - on holiday with our 5 year old and 4 year old. Family room was fabulous. Super comfy sofa bed which is unusual! The staff couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel management think of everything including a note on the tv that asks you to input your checkout date so they can make sure you’re logged out of netflix etc! Even the kettle in the room was gorgeous! They had gummy bears for the kids and nuts for the adults. Angel and Valeria were phenomenal - they made our stay extra special - forever grateful.

Deidre (10/5): Very nice hotel that's close to the port and in the Gothic Quarter! - Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. We had a short but relaxing stay. Comfortable bed, clean and quiet room. Breakfast was not included in the price. Chose to stay here due to its proximity to the cruise port.
Alexandra (10/5): Super Hotel, super Personal, super Lage - Ein wunderbares Boutique-Hotel, das mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und ausgestattet ist, sehr zentral zur Altstadt und zum Meer liegt und ausgesprochen nettes und freundliches Personal hat. Auch beim Frühstück blieben keine Wünsche offen.

Lydia (9/5): Rundum schöner Aufenthalt - Lage topp, das Zimmer ist sehr angenehm. Das Bett ist topp. Alles in allem bestens. Das Personal ist aussergewöhnlich freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichlich und gut. Uns hat es super gefallen. Im Bad fehlt eine WC Bürste!
Fabiola (10/5): A gem of a hotel. - The hotel was in a great location and exceptionally clean and luxurious. Moreover, the staff were so friendly and helpful and made our stay even more special. I would recommend this hotel without exception. Nothing!

Your hotel was a beautiful property, you have such a friendly and accommodating staff, and the hotel room was perfect for our family. Our room was very comfortable (even for a family of 4) with the king bed + pull out couch. The high ceilings and balcony made the room feel even bigger than it was. The breakfast each morning was wonderful, and the coffee machine being available all hours of the day was very nice. My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer… we’ll stay again in the future!

Laura (10/5): Everything was great and we enjoyed everything. - We liked everything. The staff was great and very helpful. The rooms were clean and the whole hotel was very pleasantly and tastefully decorated, the location was great. The breakfast was very good. Everything was fresh and nothing was missing and of course the coffee was very good. The best thing about the breakfast was the freshly squeezed orange juice. The terrace was nice, with a self-service bar. We really liked everything, I can't find anything bad to say.

До набережной идти пять минут, до метро идти пять минут, до Рамблы идти три минуты, до готического квартала идти пять минут. Очень хорошие завтраки, вкусные и разнообразные. Есть небольшой шведский стол и горячее по меню, кава по бокалам бесплатно и весь день 🥂 На крыше терасса с баром, очень удобно. Персонал выше всяких похвал! Дружелюбные, отзывчивые, приветливые, весёлые, приятные в общении и причём все до единого! Написали на ВотсАпп за два дня до заезда, всё спросили, всё узнали и подготовили к нашему приезду, как мы просили. Сделали апгрейд номера при заезде в качестве сюрприза ко дню рождения. Спасибо им большое. Такие люди оставляют ещё более сильное и глубокое впечатление о городе и стране, чем даже самые известные достопримечательности! ❤️

But most important of all, every single member of staff we came into contact with went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We can’t wait to go back!
