Melanie Stoll (5/5): Enttäuschend - Der Garten und die Aussensitzplätze sind schön. Die Lage etwas ausserhalb ist toll zum Sterne gucken. Es sind Sachen für ein kleines Frühstück im Kühlschrank. Der Hund ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer und vor allem das Bad haben mir gar nicht gefallen. Der "Pool" ist nur ein kleines Becken. Die Erklärung bei Booking ist leider völlig irreführend. Am meisten gestört hat mich jedoch die unpersönliche, nicht sehr nette Art der Kommunikation über whatsapp. Am Abreisetag wurden wir gedrängt das Zimmer bereits um 9.30h (!) Zu verlassen, da Gäste schon um 12h anreisen würden. Wir mussten also morgens rumstressen, damit es andere Gäste gechillt haben. Ganz toll in den hart erarbeiteten Ferien!

Greg was a great manager, welcoming us and keeping everything in order The rooms are very clean and comfortable, we were a family with 2 teenagers We didn’t use the kitchen, but it seemed very well equipped Everything was very good

Birgit (7/5): Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Weg - Das Bett war groß und sehr komfortabel Der Blick von der Terrasse und hot tub ist sehr eingeschränkt und hat uns nicht besonders gefallen. Auf den Bildern sieht das Interieur und die Sicht besser aus. Wir würden nicht noch einmal buchen.

Julia (10/5): Ruhige gemütliche Unterkunft - Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Wir konnten direkt vor unserem Cottage parken, die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen! Im Kühlschrank gab es einige Basics: Saft, Kaffee, Joghurt. Auch Müsli und Kekse standen in der Küche bereit. Wer nicht kochen möchte, sollte im Restaurant von Howard, welches sich direkt auf der Anlage befindet, reservieren. Nächstes Mal bleiben wir zwei Nächte ;)

Nicholas (10/5): A relaxing stay with exceptional service and stunning views - Great location and views. The property is close to town but still feels secluded. The room was very spacious and the owner thinks of every detail to make your stay feel even more comfortable, from the breakfast cereals to the milk and orange juice in the fridge and everything you need to braai outside. There’s also a full kitchen with a stove when you want to cook in but I particularly like the onsite restaurant that you can sit down and have a meal at or get your food/drinks delivered to your room. Our room had both an aircon, ceiling fan and standing fan which came in handy over the hot summer night. There’s also a large mosquito net above the bed which you can make use of if needs be. I do have to say that nothing beats sitting out on the patio over looking the mountains with a wine in the evening or a sunrise coffee in the morning. I wish we could have stayed longer. 10 out of 10 stay. Nothing

Highly recommended. - Although it was a self-catering cottage, cereals, yogurt, fruit juice and rusks were replenished every morning - Really cool! The harsh Karoo heat was relieved by fans and air conditioning in the cottage and even by a private little plunge pool just outside the cottage. A restaurant on the property provided excellent meals - delicious lamb chops and lamb curry - yummy! Although everything was really perfect, it would have been nice to have a shady veranda in the space reserved for parking the car. The existing veranda provided beautiful views but was too hot to sit there in the afternoon.

Pinnacle white cotton linen. Really comfortable bed and pillows. Fresh orange juice and milk in fridge. Musli, cereal, coffee, tea, sugar ext. Absolutely Beautiful surroundings. Pet friendly. What really stood out was home welcome we were made.

L'accueil pourrait être amélioré...le restaurant semble connu des locaux avec qui le patron aime bien discuter, mais moins avec les hôtes internationaux à priori. Concernant le cottage, nous avons été prié de partir de façon un peu sèche le matin car 'les règles sont les règles' et le check out est à 10h !! Un peu dérangeant étant donné qu'ils n'avaient personnes d'autres pour le soir même....

Stayed a night but could have stayed a week! - My bedroom was in its own cottage with a huge bathroom, huge bed, my own little garden, cooking facilities and a fantastic view. Very quiet. Lovely people. Prince Albert is one of the friendliest places I have ever stayed and a rare find. I stayed an extra night and could have stayed a week: Howard the owner is an excellent chef and opens up his intimate restaurant four nights a week for guests as well locals. Lots of other places nearby and great coffee shops. Mouth-watering quiches in Local Roots. Fantastic hiking. A must for botanists. Checkout the local show house on a Wednesday night - it’s a small town with a lot of ingenuity! Nothing

Frank (1/5): Bad - We booked for 2 nights and stayed for 1. Room was like the pictures and description so can’t complain about that. When evening fell we noticed the first cockroaches crawling trough the kitchen. When we contacted the host he first said that he wasn’t aware of any cockroaches but please spray them. He later offered us to change the room which we declined. In my quest to spray the cockroaches I found I also found other dead bugs already lying under kitchen equipment. The next morning we decided to check out. Since checking out was only by leaving the key in the room we contacted the host that we were checking out. He replied with a question mark and “are you leaving a day early.” After we replied “yes” we never heard from him again. So I assume that for this place/host it is more normal than it is for us when guests are leaving early.

Extremely comfortable, well equipped, aircon, ceiling fan, large comfortable bed, covered stoep with great view of the Karoo. Small well maintained swimming pool in a boma with braai facilities next to the chalet. Secure onsite parking right next to the chalet. Has a restaurant on site open Tuesday to Friday, we were there on a Monday so we went to one of many restaurants in town which was 2 minute drive from the chalet. Excellent but need to book. Howard was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and willingly gave us advice on the routes to drive. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending. Nothing

The manager showed us the apartment and explained everything in like 1 minute. It was alot to take in and remember and he talked very fast so I had to ask again several times... It felt like he was in a hurry and that in turn made us feel unwelcome. Very weird customer service. But the place was lovely in a great quiet place with gorgeous surroundings.

Gemma (10/5): A stunning night's stay in this very special holiday home - We loved staying at this beautiful and stylish property in a spectacular setting. The hosts had thought of everything required for a very comfortable stay, including very welcome breakfast items and a cheeky night cap. The views are wonderful and it's such a treat to see so much of the night sky. Highly recommend a stay here! The only thing I didn't like is that we stayed only one night!
