• Lou (1/5): Avoid!!!! - Location After 8 months travelling across the world, this has to be the worst accommodation I have stayed in On arrival the owner took us to another building around the corner and gave us a tiny room, not resembling the image on Booking.com We had paid for a room with TV, kitchen and coffee machine and well, this had a kitchen although no plates, cutlery or glasses and the table was right in front of the washing machine. Next to this were 2 beds pushed together, no blind on the window and that was the room. I messaged the owner on the first night to flag this up and he agreed to move us the following day. Reading thru older reviews this is common practice it seems He told us he was moving us into an 'upgraded' apartment for the inconvenience. Well this one, albeit larger, was far from an upgrade! The top of the cistern in the toilet was missing, severe limescale everywhere, dirty walls, filthy towels and a blind that came three quarters of the way down the window- so light came in every morning. The walls had stains all over them and the plug sockets were loose. No place to hang anything and again just 2 beds pushed together. The place needs a deep clean. Basically this guy is clearly making money out of any cheap apartments he can rent out with no outlay on maintenance. Also one day I received a text message saying he had been in the room to do a 'room check' !! I contacted Booking.com who offered a pathetic £4 a night refund. Avoid at all costs

• Chloé (9/5): Très bien - Très bon emplacement. Tout à disposition (Sèche cheveux, lave linge, micro-onde...). Le logement était propre et à proximité de la rue animée de Hongdae et de la bouche de métro (10 min environ). Les ressorts du lit mais on ce n'est pas insupportable. La plupart des lits coréens semblent être comme ça.

• Fabio (9/5): Sunnyhill Hongdae - Ottima posizione a Hongdae, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla metro che porta anche all'aeroporto e con vari negozi, ristoranti e caffè nelle vicinanze. Il palazzo è dotato di un ascensore. L'alloggio ha una cucina con fornelli, microonde e bollitore, inoltre è presente una lavatrice all'interno della stanza. Stanza abbastanza spaziosa per due persone e mantiene bene il calore d'inverno. Controllare bene l'indirizzo all'arrivo in quanto è presente un ostello con il nome simile. Check-in e check-out autonomi estremamente semplici. La pulizia non era il massimo, ma resta comunque nella media rispetto agli altri alloggi in cui abbiamo soggiornato in corea. Letto non troppo comodo, ma comunque più che accettabile.

As soon as we arrived, we were shocked — the walls were dirty, the dishes were not clean, and there were candies and old batteries left in the cupboards. The bathroom was dirty as well, but we somehow managed. We had to get used to it; maybe we were an exception, but unfortunately it was not very comfortable.

Prezzo abbastanza conveniente visto il periodo di festa nazionale e la vicinanza alle principali attrazioni. La stanza era piccolissima avevamo un letto alla francese e un singolo attaccati a stento , non c’era neanche un appendiabiti purtroppo. Nella cucina la finestra non aveva la zanzariera e purtroppo eravamo costrette a tenerla chiusa a causa delle tantissime zanzare presenti.

But just enough space for us muslim to perform prayer inside the room. There is also a space to drop our luggage in case for early check-in and check-out. The owner also help us book the taxi to go to Incheon safely. Nothing to say. But for those that tour with naver map, please dont believe naver map 100% as if you tour the neighborhood, there is shortcut to reach hongik station.

My room was modest but cozy, with all the essentials—comfortable bed, clean linens, and a small window that let in city air. Overall, I recommend this guesthouse for anyone looking for an affordable and friendly place to stay in Seoul. It's a perfect base for exploring the city’s youthful and energetic vibe!

From start to finish, it was one issue after another: No Response from Owner: The owner didn’t reply to any of my inquiries before or during the stay, making communication impossible. Hygiene Issues: On the first day, I found a dead insect on the stove. The towels had stains and dirty, and there were no bedsheets or pillowcases provided, leaving everything feeling unclean. Uncomfortable Conditions: The lack of curtains meant I was woken up early by bright sunlight. The air conditioning automatically switched off after a few hours, making the room unbearably hot and stuffy in the middle of the night. Bathroom Problems: The toilet leaked and was flooding the toilet. the shower was broken, and the bathroom was completely wet after each use. I had videos of the toilet leaking but unfortunately unable upload as it does not have the video features. Poor Sleep Quality: There were only two small, worn-out pillows, leaving me with a sore neck throughout the stay. Location Issues: The hotel was very dark and eerie at night, with no open shops around. Surrounding restaurants were mediocre, and the better options were a 20-minute walk or bus ride away. The hotel itself is far from the main station, making it inconvenient for daily travel. We took bus to Hong Dae station everyday which is extra costs. Not Worth the Price: For the price paid, this was absolutely not worth it. Other accommodations at the same price offer much better value and comfort. Overall, it’s clear the owner has no interest in ensuring a pleasant stay. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Description of location given was very confusing to find, quite a bit of a walk from the subway station which I didn’t expect.

• Renée (3/5): Won’t stay here again. - The only plus point was the location of the accommodation. It’s near a bus stop and not terribly noisy even though it’s next to the road. It’s near convenience stores, places with coffee in the morning, and good food. The accommodation itself is a disappointment. The photos didn’t show a true representation of the accommodation. The place is not well-maintained and it’s not comfortable. Also, it’s lot smaller than it looks in the pictures. Host was not responsive over message and it took us awhile to get in touch with them to check-in.
• Zainab (9/5): Relaxing stay - An entire apartment comprising a bedroom (Without a door), a toilet/bathroom (free toiletries), a fridge, kettle, washing machine (detergent included!), and even cutlery+crockery at your disposal. The owner is very kind and helpful, though you don't get to see him as both check-in/check-out are private, but you can communicate with him on WhatsApp. Thankfully, this place has an elevator so you don't need to worry about carrying heavy luggage up and down the stairs! A little far from the subway, but there are a few bus stops nearby. Also, one might get confused between Sunnyhill 'guest house' and 'hostel', as they're both located close to each other.

• Chu-Fang (8/5): 環境舒適生活機能方便 - 民宿的位置約離地鐵步行10分鐘，附近有橋村炸雞、便利商店及超市，生活機能非常方便！ 因為之前住過民宿主人的另一間民宿，所以房東幫我們升級到有客廳的大房間，讓我們這幾天活動都非常的舒適，像是在家一樣自在！美中不足的是只有洗衣機沒有烘衣機，所以衣服大約2天才乾！ 民宿的員工都非常的親切有禮，有任何問題都可以請教他們喔！ 如果下次再造訪韓國一定還會選擇此民宿！

• Szuting (8/5): 乾淨方便、晚上安靜、附近便利商店超市多 - 出發前在臺灣都用LINE跟旅館人員聯繫，回覆都相當快速，而且仔細。這次預定雙人床兩間，出發前臨時決定要換有洗衣機的房型，旅館人員也是很熱心的協助更換，而且仔細提醒改為兩張單人床，實際入住之後，發現床墊彈性很好而且被子很乾淨，房間有流理臺、洗碗槽、基本的廚具跟碗盤都有，還有提供洗衣精和曬衣架，可惜洗衣機沒有烘乾功能，房間備有小鏡子跟吹風機，Wifi速度也很快。可惜的是我們住的有電梯的二樓，浴室真的很小，使用的時候要稍微小心出入。 旅館地點很好找，出門附近也有弘大循環巴士可以坐，Homeplus的小型超市也在步行三分鐘距離以內，附近為住宅區很安靜，房間也有對外窗。 旅館人員有馬來西亞跟臺灣還有精通英文，服務到晚上11點，請他們幫忙叫外送都非常熱心，一樓也有飲水機，早餐自助式有咖啡果汁跟牛奶，還可以自己動手做煎蛋跟烤土司，可以省下一餐飯的費用。退房的時候也能寄放行李到23：00（下班時間）

• 金龍 (6/5): 飯店不錯，但是還有些許可以改善的空間。 - 民宿很安靜，房間隔音很好，早餐很簡單，自己DIY的感覺很棒，有提供蛋、吐司、果醬、奶油、麥片、柳橙汁及鮮奶，服務人員也都是聽得懂中文的，所以可以放心溝通上沒什麼問題。安全方面做得很好，民宿大門有電子鎖，房間也是用電子鎖，除了自己跟房東之外沒人知道你的密碼，非常安全。民宿有暖氣、熱水器、熱水壺、冷氣機、吹風機、冰箱，電磁爐及洗衣機、洗髮乳跟沐浴乳，另外也有提供毛巾、浴巾。 小小缺點:洗澡時，若蓮蓬頭的不小心潑到門上，水會往下流到外面的地板上，必須在跟飯店要條小毛巾或是直接用地毯吸水。 另外房間本身並沒有可以吊掛衣服的鉤子，但是有附衣架。

• Verified traveler (8/5): - 地鐵往民宿沿路有很多食店，cafe ，旺中帶靜，員工親切友善，樓下也有便利店，十分方便，往弘大旺區也很方便。
