If you're looking to stay a bit out of the busy center - Spacious, clean, good units with kitchen and living room, laundry machine, and shared roof space with small pool, gym, pool table, couches. Overall very nice atmosphere and good place for the price! The AC unit in our room was leaking the whole time. And the kitchen was not very well stocked, just the very basics but not enough to actually cook good meals (e.g. no large pot just a frying pan and mini-pot).

- Radosvet (10/5): Happy I found that place - Michael is amazing host , from the moment of the booking to the last minute of our stay there he was caring for us as personal guests. Clean facility, tasty food , the apartment has everything needed for short or long stay , en suite bathroom also , comfortable bed , 2 ACs . Airy rooftop, gym and very good vibe overall. The staff was super friendly and polite and definitely will visit again . Can’t think of any

The key in the door was difficult to use. The ensuite door kept locking when you shut the door and we had to get someone in to open it with a screw driver. The fridge was constantly leaking water on the kitchen floor and the swimming pool advertised was only a spa size. The location had a market near there but only for Cambodians. There was nothing close if you needed any western food

The hotel owner, Michael, is an absolute sweetheart - nice, genuine, and full of great tips for exploring Phnom Penh. Plus, the staff are warm and friendly, you'll feel like part of the family Dado Restaurant is a true gem in Phnom Penh. The food is amazing, with both local and Western dishes expertly prepared and hygienic. The service is top-notch and super quick. Location: the hotel's a bit out of the way from city center, but very convenient in other ways. I can hop on a tuk-tuk and be in the city in 20 minutes. The hotel's got a trusted driver who always gives me fair prices. The local market just right on my doorstep. I can grab delicious street food at any hour, and it's super affordable. Also, getting to/from the airport is only 20 minutes away Dado restaurant is only open Mon to Sat, but there are some awesome restaurants and bars nearby. Like Maloop, 15-mins walk from the hotel

The chef is a lovely lady and will cook you anything at any time of the day This hotel cannot be improved for the price we paid. It is excellent!

Breakfast was good & we could have dinner there also, which was very convenient 1 night. Michael & the staff were all wonderful, friendly & helpful. We watched a gorgeous sunset one evening on the top floor. Walked around the corner to check out the local, neighborhood market one afternoon, which was fun. Shower drain was outside the shower! Over by the toilet, so the water runs behind (mostly) the toilet. Just make sure you don’t leave anything on the floor near the toilet.

It offers really large apartments, a small pool and gym on the rooftop and a great restaurant at the ground floor. Clean and comfortable, well functional AC. Could have wished for a more fully equipped kitchen as it has limited plates, cutlery and glasses, a couple of more towels for the pool, and some shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower. But all in all a perfect stay for a family of four. Easy to get around with tuk-tuks. A plus for having some toys for kids at the reception. Must mention: The restaurant is highly recommended by itself! Everything we ordered was so yummy!! 👌😍

They accept pets which is great. Very dark hallways. Warmer lights inside would be nice. Pillows are very hard. The carpet should be changed.

- Jason (8/5): Would've been excellent but the after hours renovation noise was too disturbing. - The entire apartment was well equipped, comfortable and clean. The bed was a little firm but not uncomfortable or rock hard and allowed a good night's sleep (and I'm fussy about beds). Air conditioners in both rooms worked well. Kitchen had enough utensils and equipment to allow for meals to be cooked, and a fully set dining table allowed the meals to be eaten in comfort. In most part, it was a surprisingly good stay. Local shops and a street market (with street food) is really close by. Would've been an excellent stay, but this is yet another accommodation place that allows after hours renovations to be done. I heard banging and tools being used from the early evening until midnight. I did complain to reception and although they said something would be done, but nothing was and the disturbing noise continued each night. (Their loss as I was going to stay an extra week but decided not to because of the renovation noise that continued.) The TV in the living area didn't work (no channels even after retuning/scanning) and the reception of the one in the bedroom deemed it unwatchable.

- Erik (10/5): Great place and friendly staff - Great apartment for a larger group. All the facilities are provided, and there is a small (old) gym to make use of. Very friendly and helpful staff. Water and wifi were included! The mattresses and pillows were a bit on the hard side, but no big issue. Location not super central, but tuktuks are readily available to take you anywhere.

- Karen (10/5): Comfortable city stay - The apartment suited our needs perfectly as a family with a young child. There was plenty of space, it was quiet, safe and well equipped. Very good value for money & attentive, friendly staff with big smiles as we came and went. The pool was smaller than we were expecting. Just big enough for a refreshing dunk but no 'swimming' to be had. For our 2yo, it was perfect with some floaty toys to keep her entertained.

- Derek (9/5): Quiet room, pleasant in every respect. - Quiet street but 3 minutes from a busy street with tons of markets. A French twist with French wines. Extremely responsive staff. Can‘t complain about anything. Just be aware the prices are more or less European so loads more expensive than „local“.

- Paul (5/5): Not value for money, staff do not address issues - The bed and pillows were softer than Asian standard making for a more relaxed sleep. We had a two bedroom apartment, on arrival we saw two of the beds had been slept in and sheets left strewn across beds, the shower had been used and half empty containers of shower gel and shampoo remained, the main bed linen had tears in the covers that needed repair or replacing, there was hair noticeable on the tile floors indicating to me the room had not been swept or mopped, there was wet sheets and towels in the washing machine that looked like they had been there for days. We spoke to the manager about some of the issues above on arrival, all he could say was sorry all his staff were at a wedding today. The next morning we told the morning manager hoping the room would be tidied but on our return nothing had been done. None of the issues raised were addressed during our 3 days stay, yes the wet sheets were still in the washer when we left. On checkout, the lady in reception asked how our stay was and we raised the above issues, we weren’t going to say anything at first as we had done so already, but she asked. All she did was laugh and then started to say sorry, sorry, but this was accompanied by more laughter. Certainly not value for money, a bit further out of town, unclean, old furniture, and staff that did not address issues.

It would have been helpful to have a few more things in the kitchen like a chopping board knife toaster but no real problems.
- Jodie (8/5): Lovely haven in busy city - Great apartment for family stay. Spa great touch and much appreciated after a hot day. Bottled water provided. Restaurant on-site was lovely and very friendly staff. Air conditioning in all rooms and fans. Washing machine was a great asset. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Security with gates locked after hours. Location was quite. Bathroom facing west was exceptionally hot, not sure why. Couches were not very comfy or as nice as pictured. Door to balcony did not lock or even close properly. Only one key provided for all guests.
- Radek (8/5): Our first accommodation in Cambodia - The location of the residence is a quieter neighborhood in an apartment building. You can buy fruit, food, and basic groceries on the next street. The city center can be reached conveniently by tuk-tuk. The closest is the Russian market, where you can buy everything. The accommodation was clean. The owner, the lady at the reception, and the lady in the restaurant are charming. The bed is big enough and comfortable. The duvet on the bed is too big, too heavy, and too warm underneath. The sheets were torn. However, we did not use the duvet; we traveled with our light summer bedding, one for each person. When we paid by debit card, we had to pay 2% more for the stay, which was not the case with our other accommodations.
- Arlynn (9/5): Spacious clean apartment - Lovely to have so much space, a kitchen to use and even a washer in the suite. Comfy beds, good a/c and lovely staff. We had too much fun shopping for food and cooking our own that we didn’t try anything at the restaurant. Very welcoming to our kids. They even have a play area for little kids (my aren’t very little and still liked it). Nice pool able and lounge area on rooftop. It is far from the center but easy to get to by Tuk Tuk. We use grab which makes it even easier. The pool is quite small. Didn’t bother to go in. It it would do the trick to cool you down while enjoying the rooftop view.

- Anastasia (3/5): Poor - Rooms were big. Staff was kind. Food was quite good. Quiet neighbourhood. The pictures of the apartment are making the place to looke better than it is and are not depicting the current state of the furniture and facilities. Everything inside the apartment was old. The apartment was dirty and we found a dead cockroach inside the kitchen's cupboard. In the leaving room there was no air-conditioner and the fan was broken and because of this it was getting very hot. When we wanted to wash our clothes, we found the washing machine outside, at the balcony and it was covered in dirt and dust so we didn't even dared to turn it on. The bed linen were very old, stained and torn. The mattress in the main bedroom was very hard and the pillows were old and not comfortable at all. In the second bedroom, there was no window to the outside, but only a small window looking inside the leaving room. Dishes, cups and cutlery were dirty, they looked like they were not washed at all. The handle of the electric kettle was becoming so hot after we boiled water in it, that we barely could touch it. When you take a shower, the whole bathroom becomes wet because of the problematically placed sinking system, and there was nothing to wipe the floor except an old dirty bath mat. Location was far from everything. It's 5,8 km from the city center, but we needed 45 minutes by car because of the traffic during the afternoon.

- Sean (5/5): Passable - I liked they had a restaurant on site and were within walking distance to any basic needs. The staff was friendly and courteous. Management was good addressing any needs or concerns I didn't like that the room was not as described on site and was not given the one I selected from the pictures online As well I was sure I had selected breakfast included to find that it was not. The pictures are a misrepresentation of the current state of the facilities, and the same are starting to show a lot of wear and tear. The couch in the room was uncomfortable. There were no clear operating instructions for the air con, which was fun trying to figure it out. The bedsheets should be replaced as they are 100% done. The door lock latch for the main door was unfunctional, and they were not electronic door locks No instruction on how to get water or who's responsibility it was. I am sure about 10 years ago this was a nice place to stay but is definitely past its prime and lacks good general maintenance but possibly hard to find here as everyone wants things done as cheap as possible. Management, imo really needs to step up to the game

- David (10/5): Great place for short or long term - One of the nicest places I've stayed in Cambodia. Cleaning, facilities and furniture are to a high standard. It's more like having your own apartment than bring in a hotel room. Staff and owners are all very welcoming and helpful. Good location close to all the facilities of the city but is just outside of the super busy bit so it's quite peaceful. The rooftop chill out area and pool are a hidden gem.

I feel that we have become friends. They are even helping us sell the car, as we cannot bring it in to Vietnam. Anything I have asked for helping us, has been no problem. Great food, can eat any hour you are hungry, every meal has been beautiful. Love the rooftop garden with the Jacuzzi.

- Roberta (8/5): Spacious Apartment. - Comfortable apartment with kitchen and living room. Great for friend group or family. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was comfortable and included toiletries such as toothbrush, shaving kit etc. AC and Fans available. Washing Machine available was a plus! Spacious communal areas. Adequate restaurant on ground floor, convenient when you’re feeling lazy. Welcoming staff :) Kitchen cabinets could be cleaned more regularly. Location is slightly further away from the main attractions but TukTuk’s are cheap and you’re never more than 30 mins away.
- Thomas (9/5): Superb - The entire staff was very friendly and helpful, going beyond expectations and helping us book activities and even order food. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with 2 AC units and a fan. It was very convenient having the restaurant downstairs since there are not many options nearby. The kitchen was equipped with dishes, utensils and kettle but the only pan was very old and rusted so it was not possible to cook.
