Instead of sending a car with a shared cost, they tried to make me pay double when a private taxi at the airport is half that amount. When I'm already paying for a high end hotel, don't take advantage of me on the transport and other costs during my stay.

The staff at Sokha are outstanding—always smiling, welcoming, and eager to assist with any needs. Special mention to Mr. Sambom and Mr. Saroven, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Mr. Sambom was very pleasant to chat with and gave us a fun tour around the facility in the resort’s "Rolls Royce" golf cart. Overall, Sokha Siem Reap Resort is an excellent choice for anyone looking for exceptional service, a clean and comfortable hotel. We highly recommend it!

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly set the tone for my entire experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was impeccable. The availability of Tuk Tuks at the hotel makes travel convenient to/from the hotel at any time of the day. 5km from Pub street, a great place to wine and dine with plenty of options. Breakfast was standard and could be improved with inclusion of more international cuisines to match the quality of all other services.

- Nita (5/5): Disappointed because I spend over $7000 USD for such a horrible stay. - The location was good and the team were helpful when it came to fixing things that needed to be fixed. For the amount of money I spent, I expected the place to be cleaner, and more up to date, the toilets kept having problems every single day of my stay, the shower water temperature wasn’t up to date compared to all the other hotels/resorts I stayed at. The absolute worst part to my stay was the fact that there were so many bugs and insects, which I understand it is expected everywhere you go and stay, BUT because the doors and windows of the Villa I stayed in DID NOT close properly and had cracks of 1-2 CM bugs could easily come into the Villa, resulting in my 4 year child having insect bits all over his body face and a few on his head! to be more clear the bugs that kept biting him were ranging from spiders, big red and black ants,mosquitos, and centipedes, during my stay I killed 8 centipedes that were in both bedrooms in the lounge area of the villa and even in the swimming pool! extremely disappointing stay to be honest.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - We checked in resort on May 2019. The checked in service was satisfied with check in staff. We were assigned to highest floor with garden view. The aircon cooler was unsatisfied and we requested to change other room at one level down satisfactory. The bedroom and shower room was spacious and clean. There is no great balcony viewing outside. The resort size was big with many resort building coverage. The amenity come with gym and sauna and steam and hot/cold pool and swimming pool. The swimming pool water is warm because of the hot weather on May month. The surrounding of this resort had limited eating areas because of this resort located far from tourist areas. Tuk Tuk is the land transportation service goes to other places. The breakfast spread is acceptably yummy. The Resort WiFi signal is acceptable. The free shuttle bus timeslots to pub street serve at evening. Hope to see the bus timeslots serve at day for management review. Overall, this resort is recommended for staying which had provided friendly service.

- Nan Chun (10/5): Friendly staff, great view - First time come to Siem Reap, I chose SOKHA SIEM REAP RESORT & CONVENTION Center, its fantastic place, great view, great swimming pool, great beers and great hotel staffs, especially, Mr. Veasna who always patiently to answer my question and requirements. Hotel also provided airport free pick-up service. IF someone plan first time to Siem Reap, please consider SOKHA.
- Verified traveler (10/5): One mis-stated information - Pick up was stated as “with limosine” when booked. But upon calling for pickup, we were told NOT a limosine. That information ahould be changed. Possibly the photo of the limosine SUV as the cover photo as well.
- J (6/5): Nice but dull. - Big hotel rather souless and its very far from the town where all the bars are. Pool and rooms are nice but the bars were empty and the cocktail making staff and the chef had all left whenwe arrived at 2245. Bottom line pick a nice central hotel if you planning any nightlife.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel is huge and palatial. It has a gorgeous pool and lavish lobby. Its decor alone, however, is not what makes it great. It’s the people who work there. Sarouen was so helpful at the front desk, and Alisa was amazing! If you are staying here, look for this beautiful and helpful lady at the front desk. She speaks English so well and is full of confidence! She is a big part of what made our stay at the hotel magnificent! And I cannot forget Rain, who picked me up at the airport even though he drives for another Sokha property in Siem Reap. My stay was made even greater because of these people. Missing Alisa, Sarouen and others as I return to freezing cold Tokyo!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful resort. Perfect combination of French Colonial and Cambodia design - especially the pool! Wow. Resort and room was overall very clean, modern, and huge. It wasn’t swarming with busloads of Chinese people. Breakfast was a varied array of international cuisine. The only issue is the reception staff. Only a few spoke and understood fluent English so it was hard to communicate. We also asked for an iron which doesn’t come standard in the room and it took about 40 mins for it to be delivered. We also had to wait more than 15 mins at the reception to ask a question and there were 2-3 staff helping or checking in only one customer. They didn’t even apologize. It was odd for a 4 star hotel. Otherwise we would come back.

- Milleur (6/5): their services including their managers so poor. - the hotel it's okay but the services so terrifying if talking about room service it is not 5* for sure . that going to be 2* hotel service. staffs unfriendly . from restaurant to their managers. when i had an issue room service has been waited like 2 hours . then told on of their member. then she passed to her manager then what their manager do just sent me an email an nothing came and talk to us or somethings . this is absolutely joke. their customers service their very very poor.
- Song (10/5): Good, comfortable stay - Huge complex, quite modern, quite nice. Not in or near city center, so no choice but hotel restaurants if you only want to walk around. The Japanese restaurant on site was quite good. Comfortable and reliable complimentary transportation is provided to hotel guests to and from the airport. We enjoyed our stay.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Brand New Hotel but still some work to do - There are many good things about the location and facilities but it could use some improvement. The pool is gorgeous but the tile is slick tile and at the shallow end you have to be careful not to fall down. Not sure why they used that type of tile. Also all the door-walls on the rooms are inside out. The track for the door-walls are on the outside of the room instead of the inside. This means that the door can't be locked with a stick or pole and you have to rely on the cheap sliding lock which was not working on our room. The screen at the pool is great but management would only allow to run it from 6 to 8 pm. When asked why they first said we could not see it. After we got them to turn it on they said we would have to pay 50 dollars an hour to have it on. What?! Ridiculous. Also the Spa only had one song to play during the treatment. If you listen to the same music over and over again it is not relaxing. Siem Reap is a great place to stay for 3 or 4 days but I would not recommend more. Staff is nice and wants to interact and help out which is very nice.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Huge bug problem! - I think this hotel is built over a swamp and that's why it's full of bugs cockroaches and all kind of crickets and strange little animals all over the place , inside your room and on your bed.
- J (6/5): Not a 5 star experience - A very strange 5 star hotel. A number of problems noted were unclean floors, paper thin walls (you could hear everything outside and next door), lights cannot be turned on during the day and hot water was luke warm at maximum. It gets points for room size and bathroom with nice Japanese fittings. Bed was comfortable and clean. Buffet breakfast was OK. The exterior is deceptively impressive. A really grandiose building with not much to show for. This hotel is like a beautiful woman with no personality.

- Chunilall (10/5): Great New Hotel - I really enjoyed my stay at the Sokha Siem Reap Resort back in October 2016. This hotel was opened in September 2016 and the architecture of the hotel is grand. I had a room with a great view of the pool (largest in Siem Reap). A huge tv monitor overlooks the poo. The rooms are spacious and well designed with a balcony. The property is very large. Upon entering the property I was greeted with warm smiles and staff ready to take care of me. While checking-in I was provided with a refreshing drink. A staff member escorted me to my room and made sure all was just right. The property is quiet and somewhat secluded but not far from pub and night market and a $2 ride gets you there. My room rate included breakfast which was also great and a ride to airport. Overall, great staff, rooms, service, and location. I will be staying at this hotel when I'm back in Siem Reap.
