Parking is too expensive though - Room design, hotel vibe and food was great Paying that much for a nicer room and having gas station toilet paper was pretty disappointing. I shouldn't pay that much and get worse toilet paper than I have at home. Also the parking garage is way too expensive for hotel guest.
L6023JIchrisb (6/5): Nice hotel, expect hot rooms - Location downtown was good spot. The atmosphere was great, jazz playing all the time, and the bar was great, the room was new and smelled great. The noise level in the room from next door was high. Service was good at the front desk, but had an issue late one night with them calling the room, they worked it out with me. The biggest problem is that the AC does not work in the room. It was not very cold and did not enjoy sleeping in a hot room. So for that im giving it a 3, because my expectation was it was going to be the best. Always have had a great stay at other autograph hotels.

Z4745CJjeffreyh (10/5): Beautiful old school hotel with very professional staff - On our drive from Denver to Boston we made a stopover at the Hotel LeVeque in Columbus, Ohio. We were tired and just wanted to be home. Well everyone on the staff made us feel at home. From the Valet to the reception desk (the glass of champagne was a nice touch), to everyone in the restaurant, to Brent at checkout we felt welcome. The hotel was old school beautiful and we will surely stay here on our next drive to Denver. WELL DONE!

Our daughter was craving ice cream and instead of just saying they didnt have it, she arranged and uber eats and delivered to the room personally with absolute grace and professionalism. An example of a young lady working hard and mastering her position. A wonderful experience from beginning to end.

What a beautiful classy property. My 7th floor room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and lots of city sights. However, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff was the best part. Special shout out to Yordi at the front desk who helped me with a shoe shine. Looking for a weekend oasis in downtown Columbus? Hotel Leveque comes with my highest endorsement.

nick19allen (10/5): Such a cool building with amazing staff! - I booked this hotel for a quick weekend road trip mainly due to it's proximity to the Nationwide Arena. The architecture and interior decor is super cool. I'm seriously not a fan of the barn door bathroom divider, but our room layout was such that you walked down a back hall to the bathroom and also had a separate toilet room. And it's so nice to have a walk-in shower that actually contains all the water in the shower. The staff here was so nice to us. Everyone was friendly and talkative whenever we met up with them across the building. We happened to be in the elevator with Jackie while she was on the phone. She was super fun and gave us a few secrets about getting around the hotel quicker. Jess was great to chat with in the restaurant and offered some awesome recs for breakfast. The food in The Keep was delish!! The only actual problem was my mobile key didn't work for the elevator. I only waited a few moments for Brent to hook me up with another physical key and I was good to go. He was so outstandingly nice, taking several moments of what was likely his break time to get food, to chat with us as he knew the area we lived. If I return to Columbus I'll definitely stay here again.

Our room was beautiful, as was the lobby, and the overhead music played continually in the lobby was awesome as well. We loved checking in on Friday to the live music in the lobby and complementary Prosecco. Sehmar at check in was so welcoming, and a gentleman always went to the elevator to get us our elevator, which was a very kind gesture. Brent who helped us at checkout was charming and personable and so thoughtful and helpful! Each staff member made us feel like we were appreciated guests. The location is great and you can walk or easily. Uber to all the great restaurants in German Village or the Short North. A Starbucks in the lobby is convenient and the food at the keep very good. Overall, an incredible ambience and outstanding staff made for a very memorable experience!

Semhar at the front desk was super helpful, even bringing my food delivery up to my room for me. On Friday afternoons, they have live music and free champagne to go with it. When you’re ready to retire for the evening, enjoy a starry projection on the ceiling. All these little touches add up to a great stay. I’ve stayed here before and I’ll be back again.

Kristina (9/5): Beautiful lobby, great staff, not up to par when it comes to room maintenance. - Great location for the Ohio Theater and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Parking garage connected via Second floor was a great perk! Restaurant personnel were friendly and worked hard. I feel the room should have been monitored better to make sure everything was working when a guest checks in. Light on makeup mirror did not work so I requested another one and it was brought to the room. After that the closet light was not working and reported that to front desk and it was fixed. Sink in bathroom had tiny spiders that kept appearing. I stuffed the overflow with a Kleenex where they kept appearing and it seemed to stop them. Shower door needs adjusted because while taking a shower it leaks out the shower door onto the bath mat that becomes soaked. Water closet door makes a very loud noise when opened and then closed. I feel the upkeep of our room 624 needs addressed.

mackh2026 (8/5): Columbus Hotel LeVeque - Always a great experience at the Leveque hotel. Staff are very friendly throughout their respective departments. Great bar and lounge as well located on the second level of the hotel. Whenever I stay here I always opt for valet due to the ease and how great their valet are. However, I guess they changed their system and it has become far more complicated to request your vehicle and the price has gone up since my previous visit which I don’t mind but not at the cost of making it more difficult to get my vehicle. All and all it is a great hotel.
jonathanrC7326OU (10/5): Stay Exceeded High Expectations! - Someone once told me, “it’s never too late to write a thank you note.” As I look back at 2025, a highlight was celebrating my milestone wedding anniversary at the Leveque Tower Hotel! Super nice stay, great room, really comfortable bed, and the employees were absolutely fantastic! A shout out goes to employee, Brent, who went the extra mile in coordinating details! The stay exceeded all of our expectations!! For example, when we got back in the evening, the hotel restaurant had just closed and Brent surprised us by sending desserts up to our room! He also made a great romantic setup in our room with rose pedals and a gift basket which included some really cool Leveque Tower memorabilia to take home for our kids. This is because we had made a comment at check-in that our daughter had enjoyed learning about this hotel in her history class at school. We were super impressed, what a great experience! Highly recommend!!!

I1191FRandrewd (10/5): Awful Experience Turned Awesome - I wanted to stay at the Hotel LeVeque in Columbus, OH on New Year's Eve 2025/2026 but I scammer fraudulent took my room. I was unaware of the scam until I was getting ready to check in and this particular person stole my room for the night. I reported the crime to the Hotel Front Desk Agent, Ntandokazie Yordi and her manager and they both work diligently to uncover what they could to help me feel well taken care of (above and beyond their call of duty). I did have lunch at the Keep Restaurant on site on December 30, 2025 and met the Chef Eddie .. he is fantastic and the food is AWESOME I highly recommend staying at the Hotel LeVeque because of the awesome staff, atmosphere, and food.

The hotel is beautiful and full of character, with a great location close to restaurants, attractions, and the riverfront. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout the stay. Check-in was smooth and everything felt well organized. Would absolutely recommend LeVeque and would gladly stay here again. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay for my birthday was perfect. The staff supplied me with champagne and Carmel snacks. I can’t wait to return.
stng1978 (10/5): Upscale Downtown - Hotel Leveque is a great place to stay when doing anything in downtown Columbus, but it is THE place to stay when going to a show/concert at the Palace theater. It is literally next door. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, from the the front desk to the maids. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Food in The Keep restaurant and bar was very good. We will definitely try to stay here again.
ricksuttles (2/5): TRAPPED IN ELEVATOR FOR 45 MINUTES - HAD TO BE RESCUED BY FIREFIGHTERS - We checked in and got on the elevator to our room. It got stuck between floors and we were trapped for 45 minutes. Apparently some drunk people from an event jumped in the elevator right before us and broke something that caused it to malfunction when we got in. The fire department had to come pry the doors open. We literally had to crawl out through a small opening with our luggage (see photo). And the other elevators? Also problematic. Rattling, doors scraping when opening and closing. Clearly this building has serious elevator maintenance issues. Other problems: The minibar had expired items. When we checked out, the valet gave us the wrong set of keys - someone else's car keys. Management response: Complete silence. We stayed for 3 nights and not one person from management came to check on us, called our room, or even acknowledged this happened. Nothing. When I brought it up at checkout and said I expected to hear from someone, they finally called 5 hours later. Their offer? 50% off the room and free minibar. That's it. For being trapped in an elevator for 45 minutes and having to be rescued by firefighters? The only person who actually helped was Liz at the front desk. She was great. Bottom line: This hotel has serious problems. Drunk guests breaking elevators, poor maintenance, and management that ghosts you when something goes wrong. Stay somewhere else.
GoHuskies_Olympia (10/5): Staff recommendations made all the difference - We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Hotel LeVeque -- after many visits to Columbus, this is, without question, the best and most centrally located property possible. What a bonus that it is such a beautiful hotel, made all the more special by an incredible team who, to a person, did what they could to make sure our stay went as smoothly as possible. We were lucky enough to work with Brent at the front desk, who provided exceptional, kind, thoughtful customer service. His recommendations for meals and activities were perfect -- honestly, most of the highlights of our trip came from Brent's input! A huge thank you to Brent for all he did to make our stay so special. At The Keep Kitchen & Liquor Bar, Patrick was a star, creating world class cocktails and contributing to our overall enjoyment of our trip. Without question, we will return to Hotel LeVeque when we return to Columbus!

Front desk Yordi , Trinity, Crystal. Restaurant The Keep managed by Eduardo did fantastic job especially for Thanksgiving luncheon. Breakfast and dinner staff are cordial and extremely professional providing great service. I would recommend it and it will be are go to place when in Columbus downtown.

We were in for our anniversary and we came back from our planned event to a bottle of wine in the room, a very nice hand written thank you card, some buckeye popcorn from the lobby and cards for breakfast the best morning. Drinks at the bar and Starbucks drinks. Rose petals were laid on the bed also. My husband and I never splurge on ourselves and this was such an incredible treat. Absolutely no complaints

Sightseer364768 (10/5): Gold-standard customer service - Everyone was so kind, so considerate, and other-the-top thoughtful as my granddaughter and I celebrated our November milestone birthdays together in Columbus. In particular, Brent and Yordi went beyond what we ever could have imagined. We received gift cards and gifts, but even more importantly, their attention to detail and compassion shown to us was expemplary. The service was quite frankly among the best I'ver ever experienced, and showed my granddaughter how treating people with kindness is sometimes all it takes to make a huge impact.

He was very professional and offered to help me with whatever I needed. The rest of the staff gave me warm welcomes as I checked in. The standard rooms are a little small but felt nice and luxurious. Rooms are ample - and the largest shower you’ll ever see in your life (in the one bedroom suite). Love the celestial lamps (if you know, you know.). Quiet most of the time but sees a fun bar crowd on certain nights (probably when hotel is booked with groups). Front desk staff were particularly helpful when working out logistics and peppering them with questions. (Big thank you to Smhar for her patience.)

Exploratoria (10/5): Superb Anniversary Weekend - We really had a wonderful anniversary weekend at this gem of a hotel in Columbus. There were so many great details that it is hard to know where to start. The restaurant is simply delicious (the best braised short rib anywhere, ever; amazing breakfast, etc). The room is both grand and comfortable; it was impeccably clean. The staff (both at the restaurant and at the rest of the hotel) was very welcoming, charming and well trained; and you can tell they all love their jobs and put their hearts into it. I distinctly remember Yodi, who runs the front desk very efficiently and is also a kind and splendid concierge; and Brent, who kindly found a last hotel mug for us as a souvenir to our stay and went out in the street to deliver it to us. This place really tries, and it shows! The hotel location is very convenient, with a nice valet parking service. We took an uber to the nearby bookstore at the German Village and had heavenly beignets at Lindey's (please do yourself a favor and make a reservation there, it is a unique experience). On Sunday, we treated ourselves to a wonderful anniversary dinner at Jeff Ruby's - surely the best filet East of the Mississippi. All in all, a very memorable weekend. Thank you, Hotel Leveque, for an unforgettable lovely time.

SC5100 (8/5): Art deco in downtown Columbus OH - First stay (3 nights) in Columbus OH and we decided on Hotel Leveque. It's the first several floors of an old, historic art deco building right downtown. It's a Marriott property. It was fine. Our room was comfortable. The bathroom was huge with lots of light but they need to up the quality of their towels The view from the 9th floor was of an air shaft, but that was my fault for not booking a "river view room." I had no clue. When we asked to be moved, the manager said they were sold out and nothing else was available. He was very nice and comped us breakfast in Keep which is the hotel dining room. I have to give him kudos for the hospitality. The room was spacious enough but fed my general beef with most rooms like this in that there's just one upholstered chair for stilling. It was quiet, closet space was good. The best thing is that EVERYONE, from the manager to the housekeeping staff were just so nice. If you want to be downtown and like that deco/20s and 30s vibe, I would recommend.

surfacesolutionp (4/5): Something sceptical - I stayed in room 517. Ehhh. Just off the top of my head from my memory. When I looked around the room, I noticed the wallpaper really didn't line up very well with the seams next to the ceiling or trim. There's a gap in the trim beside the bed right on the corner that is so sharp if somebody stubs their toe on it they're going to probably cut it off. That's not an exaggeration. There was chocolate or something smeared on one of the alcohol bottles that they have in the room. It look like somebody threw up all over the ice bucket and surrounding area it's all in the grooves something brownish orange color. That room also has a large air conditioning unit or something that is very loud then always comes from the ceiling. I was sitting on the toilet and I thought a truck was outside that's how loud it was then I remembered I was on the 5th floor. So the air conditioning unit is very loud. It's almost like the remodel job they did got to a point where they stopped carrying and just finished up the rooms. Sure there are some other really nice ones, but room 517 also you do not want to stay there because there is no view out of any window. It should be on the low end of the cost of hotel rooms because it's more of a room where you would just crash not a comfort room. The TV is in an offset spot kind of weird. And our car got broken into when we used the valet that they recommend. I don't know why they recommend a valet if people's cars continuously getting broke into you would think that would be negligence and everybody can sue. But I don't know
crystallT7046PL (2/5): Disappointing Stay at Hotel Leveque - First time to Columbus for a college Football Game ; Hotel had a 2 night minimum which respect but Check in was a mess due to computer glitches for our 2 rooms. Our rooms were not assigned to correct family members. No turndown service; requested a bathtub room and it was not functionable. Bedding is uncomfortable and disappointing and towels are cheap. Also make up light did not work . Disappointing visit .

Especially the front office manager Yordanos Embaye. She went above and beyond searching all over Columbus for eye contact equipment that I had left at home. Without it I wouldn't be able to remove my contact or store it. She spent over 3 hrs. finding and purchasing most of what I needed. She was a total angel and deserves a big raise! Our accommodations were superb! Clean, comfortable and spacious. The restaurant food was delicious and staff were so very nice! I have traveled all over the world and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a totally wonderful experience!

travelbug79823 (2/5): Felony Level Theft by Hotel Housekeeping Staff - I have stayed at this hotel several times without issue, but nothing could have prepared me for the nightmare of my most recent visit. Three nights into my four-night stay, my personal belongings were stolen directly from my room by a member of housekeeping. The theft was confirmed when hotel management escorted this employee to her personal locker, where I later watched on video recorded by management as some of my belongings were removed. Despite this, many items remain missing—including jewelry, clothing, undergarments, and personal care items. To make matters worse, the hotel has refused to cooperate with law enforcement fully. Although I saw video evidence (taken by a manager on her cell phone) of my property being taken from this employee’s locker, management later denied the police access to that footage. This is not just negligence—it is obstruction. The most devastating loss was a necklace that belonged to my late father. While it carried significant monetary value, no amount of money could replace its sentimental worth. That piece of my family history is gone forever. Upon returning home, I made an even more disturbing discovery: stuffed in socks hidden inside my recovered shoes was jewelry that did not belong to me —and, shockingly, marijuana, which I can only assume was also stolen from other rooms. I drove for hours with someone else's drugs in my vehicle. The conduct of this hotel is disgraceful and deeply troubling. Instead of accountability and transparency, I was met with stonewalling, indifference, and a total lack of empathy. Their refusal to act responsibly, protect their guests, or assist the police shows that their priority is protecting themselves, not their customers. If you value your safety, your peace of mind, or your belongings, I strongly urge you—do not stay here.
O6850XNvaleriea (8/5): Beautiful hotel but… - While the hotel was stunningly beautiful with gorgeous rooms, very comfortable beds, extremely clean and beautiful bathrooms. It was missing some basic amenities. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, but it closes at 5 PM and there is no other place to get coffee or water. They do not even provide free water in the lobby. The restaurant which has good ratings tor food, is not open past 9 PM. I found this highly unusual at a downtown hotel, not even room service. They have a few cold options for purchase in the lobby, but that is it. The staff were friendly and helpful as was the valet service. The valley service was $45 a night with In-N-Out privileges and you do get your car rather quickly. I inquired about the attached garage however the staff did not know the hourly rate the nightly fee, etc., and it seemed confusing to walk from the garage to the hotel plus, I wasn’t sure how safe it would be.
525alliel (10/5): The Leveque Shines - The Leveque shines because of Aashawnti at the front desk. I travel a lot for work and have never met a more attentive and quick problem solver. On this particular trip, I was not feeling well and there were some minor issues with the room. When one phone call didn't address it, Aashawnti insisted on staying on the phone until she heard confirmation that everything was in good order. She checked in multiple times to make sure I was comfortable during my stay and even going up and beyond to personally help. Thank you Aashawnti!
