Cecil (9/5): - We're from oklahoma, it was just the right stop before going to Houston. Convenient stop smaller town, plenty of gas stations and a Buckees across the street.

Shaun (2/5): Dreadful. Avoid at all costs. - Nothing.The hotel is abysmal. I guess its only redeeming feature is being 100 metres away from a Buc-Cees . We used the toilets here as the one in the hotel room was awful. The reason we booked this hotel was the swimming pool and when we arrived the pool was green and hasn't been cleaned for months. Why advertise a pool if its not available? The breakfast was dreadful and the bathroom didn't have an extraction fan or window. The paint was peeling from the bathroom wall with damp issues. It is not pleasant to have a bathroom with no working extraction in a small hotel room. The bed matress was cheap and made the occupants roll together . I could go on but im sure you get the gist that the place is to be given a wide berth.

Randall (6/5): It was pleasant, convenient, reasonable and quiet. - I like that it was close to bucees and close to the freeway. The room was clean but there were stains on the sheets and towels and strands of hair on the bed. Luckily I travel with everything I need so it really wasn’t a problem for me. It could definitely use some repairs and upgrades. The door frame was extremely loose like it was previously kicked in. It was very quiet and peaceful. The only thing that I could honestly complain about was the stains and hair on the bed.

Meagan (10/5): Safe, convenient, comfortable hotel - We called the hotel the day before arrival to inform them of a late arrival and requested a 1st floor room. I called again on the day of to confirm the 1st floor room and to let them know that we would be arriving later than expected. The front desk staff was very kind and assured me that they would have the requested room available. When we arrived (after midnight), the staff was very nice and checked us in quickly. The area was well-lit, clean, and felt very safe. The room was clean and beds were more comfortable than expected. Throughout our stay, we took enjoyed the breakfast each morning, with the owner even offering to make more food (they were out of some items due to us going towards the end of the breakfast service). In summary: clean and well-lit exterior, safe, good location, friendly staff, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely stay here if we are in the area again!

Hillary (8/5): Sad eggs - Everything was great, other than breakfast. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The eggs at breakfast were extremely dried out and strung out. Never offered any fresh food, but when another group came in, he served them fresh eggs on their plate at the table. Would I stay there again? Yes, I would but would not plan on breakfast.

Bucee's across the street, close enough to the freeway, down the road from city center, and good eats. if you like Christmas - there is a really big, super cute Christmas store right next door. the cleanliness was not up to a good standard. there was a piece of candy under the chair in my room that was never swept up (when I arrived and the two times they came in to freshen up my room). my feet were dirty from walking bare foot on the floor. dead bugs in the corners of the room and bathroom, under the sink was dusty, the top of the coffee maker, tissue box, and ice bucket were all dusty. over all very uncomfortable.

Pool area blazing hot, burns your feet, no shade, no rails for getting in/out of the water, no lounge chairs or areas to place towels, keys, etc. Only seating is concrete benches. Breakfast was skimpy and unappealing. TV interrupted frequently. Staff was mostly pleasant. Room cleaning was good.

Bill (10/5): Pleasantly surprised. - I was pleasantly surprised with this location. The man that greeted me at the front desk was very friendly and extremely helpful. The location was exceptionally clean. I liked that I could drive up and park one space over from my room. The parking lot was very well-maintained very nice very well lit. I just do not have anything bad to say about this location.

Had to get a different hotel. Nope, don't waste your time unless you enjoy sketchy and unsafe vibes.

Jordan (6/5): - Our stay was great! The bathroom smelled of marijuana when we arrived but later went away. House keeping didn’t clean our room or take out the trash the first night but other than that, everything was fine.
Arturo (2/5): Not as advertised. - Check in was great. The person that checked us in was friendly. After that, it went downhill. The floor in the room was dirty. Dead bugs in the room and bathroom. When I lifted the lid on the toilet, there was dried urine all around the rim. There was a tube of toothpaste between the towels on the shelf. Still wondering about that. The AC was cool, at best. The next morning, we went down for breakfast. There were 7 of us, in 3 rooms. There was no food. I asked the clerk if he was going to refill. He took about 20 minutes and then put out 4 sausage links and about 5 scrambled eggs. Keep in mind, I’m not expecting a chef prepared meal, but he saw how many of us there were and put out enough food for two. Thankfully, there is a Buccee’s across the street so we went for colaches instead. I’ll never come back to this place.

The gentleman would not put enough out for 8 people. Bed were extremely hard. This hotel is in an excellent location - Buc-ee’s right across street, couple of restaurants walking distance- would be great place if they clean it up more

Rodriguez (5/5): This could easily be a 4-5 Star hotel if the necessary repairs were taken care of. How hard can it be to get the restroo - The beds were comfortable. The restroom in the Lobby has been out of order since the last time we visited. The shower curtain in room 102 has rust spots and the door to the room has a big gap in it. I could see the light through the opening and the breakfast was cold. The sausage was like rubber while the eggs were as well. Most of the food was already gone an hour after breakfast started. The guy working behind the counter wasn’t too talkative. He looked like he was sleep deprived and would rather be at home in bed. He never restocked the food that was gone. Other than that it was ok. I could tell that they don’t have a maintenance worker.
