• newcastlebabes2 (4/5): Sadly disappointed - Stayed here in Sept 24, the rooms are so small and so basic! Very noisy both inside and outside of the building. Other guests tried to break into our room one night which was terrifying. Can't describe this as a hotel as there is no manned reception, no facilities, no safe, no room change ie towels or sheets even if you ask or complain and then they only leave a fresh tooilet roll.. Access too the lift is limited as either the cleaner or other guests wedge it open on floor 5 so it will not be available for other guests. Have to book in at another hotel then find this hotel. Bathroom clearly had not been cleaned before our arrival dirty walls, hair in shower drain, hairs on floor, broken edging to sliding door, mouldy silicon around shower and soap scum marks on shower doors also no hairdryer. Free Coffee machine serves very weird tasting coffee which I would give a miss if you don't want to end up with a dodgy bowel. Others may think this is all acceptable but to be honest I would inn hindsight rather pay more and stay somewhere better.

Résultat : des "couvertures" supposées à usage unique mais réutilisées, trouées, sales. Salle de bain : des rouleaux de papier toilette entamés, avec des tâches dont je préfère ne pas réfléchir à la provenance. Une seule carte-clef pour une chambre de trois. Et pour un prix plus élevé qu'ailleurs. Absolument scandaleux.
• Explore28798330954 (2/5): Terrible! - Very bad place , dirty and no service at all. Don't book a room here . You don't even get the deposit back - absolutely the worst place I have been in my life. You have to go to some other place to pick up the key and the service is also bad there. Just terrible!
• J3366RTsteveh (2/5): THIS HOTEL WILL STEAL YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT - Stayed for a short 5 day 4 night break. A little confusing trying to find the sister hotel to check in. Had to pay a €40 security deposit to get the keys to our room. To cut to the chase, I've been trying to get my €40 deposit back for the last 5 weeks! They will not reply to any form of correspondence at all. Tried email, messaging, going through Booking.com (who seem to have no responsibility for the hotels they sell). If you think you're getting a good deal with this hotel remember to vector in this €40 surcharge on top because you'll never get it back. Scandalous way to operate. Could I also mention that the patio door and bathroom window do not lock. Wasn't too bothered as we were 4 floors up but it's not ideal.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Good stay - Was good for what you pay for. Only issue is you cant adjust the aircon. But other than that the place was clean, you have a balcony. Shower was decent. They supplied with soap and shampoo. There is no reception so if you need anything its difficult process.

• ta1990452 (10/5): Good - You have to do the check in online before arrival, otherwise you might have to wait to be attended upon arrival. The reception is in other building, so you have to walk about 2 minutes to collect your keys.
• AlanL853 (8/5): Decent Hotel - I always like to start off a review by stressing that you should take most reviews with a pinch of salt - as things like customer service, cleanliness, food, and location are all based on each individual person's personal opinions - and we all have different standards and expectations. Hotel We only stayed in this hotel for one night due to our flight arriving so late. It was very cheap and was great for the few hours we were in it for. It was clean but the room and balcony were very small. It would be perfect for a few nights but I could not stay here any longer. We had an issue trying to work the air condition but reception came up and helped us - which was great. Location The hotel is based in old Benidorm. There was an issue trying to find it as airport transfer dropped us off on the main road with no directions to where it was. Thanks to google maps we found it.
• Kevin (8/5): Amazing value, but basic. - A little disappointing. This place is forgivably basic, given it's price, a balcony, modern en-suite, very comfortable bed, A/C, and TV (all Spanish, but I used it for the radio channels) are all provided. Hot drinks are available at reception. However, this hostal certainly isn't clean, there's mould in the bathroom, the balcony was filthy, and the sliding doors didn't lock (3 out of 5 of us had this problem with our rooms). The check-in took an absolute age (like an hour), but the staff were generally friendly and welcoming. This hostal is definitely worth the price, you just need to be prepared for its short-comings.
• stupot37 (6/5): Ok but slow check in - A group of us stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Check in was slow, over an hour for a group of 4. Chap on reception was polite but struggled checking us in. As we were a group booking €200 deposits per room were required. Best way to avoid paying the deposit is to book individual rooms. I highly advise guests to check their room for any faults or damage and let reception know of these in person AND to email the hotel with photos attached. I did this and my deposit was was refunded. (Although deposit transaction was only pending). Hotel itself is in a central location in the Old Town, this part of town is very popular with the Spanish. Hotel room was clean with a very comfy bed. Balcony was of a good size. Shower was ok. Can't argue with the price, good value. Breakfast consisted of a box with bread/ pastries with jam and coffee pods, there is a small eating area in reception.
• leen127 (8/5): Not too bad - To be honest i booked this hotel by mistake and I couldn’t cancel one of the 4 rooms i booked so we ended up staying there. I read all the reviews and started to worry about it thinking I’d booked a right hell hole. But to be fair its alright. If you’re using it as a bed station and a place to get ready then its a absolute dream. Close to main part of old town. Beds alright. Shower little bit dodgy but worked in all 4 rooms. 3 of the rooms had balcony views and one was sandwiched and had a view of a riser but like previously said if you’re only using it to sleep off a hangover it doesn’t matter. We arrived late so had to wait no longer than 10 mins for someone to let us into our rooms. A sheer delight was working on reception one of the days also which made a hangover more bearable. The cleaners also should get a mention. Very understanding i think would be the correct way to word it. Lovely lady came smashing in our room 2 or 3 times relatively early (12pm) asking to clean and she was met with some slightly loud words telling her not now to which she walked away happy saying “ok, come back later” proper woman in my opinion. Definitely going on the Christmas card list. The floors also make great dance floors. Moonwalking like a boss out the shower. One small thing... the lift. If you don’t like tight spaces this is not where you want to be. Some would say its tighter than my mate Kev who’s not got a round in since 2002 because he’s mourning the loss of his childhood pet, Angus, the hamster. Nice place, cheap as chips Best wishes xx
• Verified traveler (4/5): - No nos ha gustado nada,no somos exigentes pero un minimo de atenciones son basicas y este hotel no las cumple,llegamos a las 15 horas hora de entrada segun pone en la pagina web, segun ellos las 16 horas hora de entrada.alli no habia nadie,,horario laboral del hotel es de 16 a 22 nos abrio la chica de la limpieza desde el telefonillo que hay en la entrada,al entrar queriamos dejar las maletas en algun sitio seguro ,no vimos a nadie,metimos las maletas en el coche y nos fuimos a la playa.La limpieza deja mucho que desear,la cama de mi hijo partida en dos,nos la cambiaron.Mugre en el servicio .Algo positivo es que la zona y el hotel en si es muy tranquilo,nada de ruido,barato y para unos dias de playa esta bien,queda todo muy cerquita.La partida lo mismo nadie por alli,se dejan las llaves en una bandeja que hay en recepcion.
• Wazza1967 (8/5): Short bteak - Good place for a short stay. Excellent for the old town close to good tapas restaurants. Only 10 minute walk to the night life of Benidorm. Rooms were small but clean and tidy. As was bathroom with shower not over bath. Was a quiet area so no night time noise.

• terenam2016 (8/5): Boutique hotel - This is a lovely boutique hotel and is very modern and clean. Unfortunetly my partner broke her leg whilst there and the staff went above and beyond to get us help and call taxis etc. for which we are very grateful. Would definetly return.

• Yerma (8/5): Great Location, Clean & Modern, Breakfast ....my complaint! - We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in June 2019. It is located right in the heart of the Old Town and couldn´t be better. The hotel is basic but clean and has all you need if you don´t plan staying in your room during the day. Parking is a big issue and the local car parks are very expensive. There was one located nearby but we got charged over 21 euros for a 12 stay!!!!! We did find a parking space about a half an hour brisk walk away. My complaint is about the breakfast. I paid for the 4 nights we were there - not expensive by any means and if you like the contents of the box it comes in then it is good value. But I didn´t realize it came in a box and I didn´t like anything in it because it was mostly sweet stuff. I asked the receptionist to cancel our breakfasts for the next three mornings. He said he didn´t know if he could do that. Nobody got back to us about it but we didn´t ask for the breakfast box for the remainder of our stay and were not offered it. On our final morning I asked again at the desk to be recompensed for the cancelled food boxes. The chap didn´t know but telephoned his superior whom I spoke with on the telephone. She said that she would email me with “their decision” but it would be in a few days. That was 3 weeks ago and nobody has contacted me. Poor show I´d say.
• Stevecrowe1968 (8/5): Great budget hotel - Stayed here with friends, no safe in room but the room was small but spotless, the towels and bed sheets changed daily, the toilets and shower were spacious and the staff were very polite and helpful. For someone on a budget this is a great hotel. Located 5 mins away from the old town and beach. Has disabled facilities.

• Jes (8/5): Excellent small hotel in the heart of the Old Town - This is my second stay at the Blue Beach. If anyone is looking for a clean, good value hotel then this is for you. 5 minute walk to Poniente Beach. Lavante Beach a few minutes longer. The hotel itself is in the old town & there are numerous shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Rooms are very spacious & I was surprised at how comfy the bed was. Shower is good. The hotel staff are friendly & helpful. There are also bikes for hire and tea & coffee available at reception as well as vending machine. Also a seating area, with microwave & fridge for guests. If you have a late flight you can leave your cases come back later & use the large shower room down stairs. Overall this is a little gem for couples & groups of friends.
• Mikeyd1976 (8/5): Good Stay - Visited here for 3 nights to meet up with friends whilst travelling around Spain. We did go to check into the main hotel but were moved to another 'sister' hotel up the road - literally a duplicate hough so no issues there. Check in was odd... really slow in the hottest reception ever! The receptionist didnt know weather she was coming or going, who was who and what was what - in the end we were just given a key! Anyway, the place looks like its just been refurbed, so that was nice. Room is basic but really clean and new. Aircon a welcome addition!! Tea and coffee are in reception, these would have been better in room. No real issues - clean, basic, new - just what you want when in Benidorm for the weekend with mates :-)
• sthelensreviewer (4/5): Disappointed - Booked here for total of three nights, 2 couples (both booked rooms next to each other). Our friends arrived before us and found that we had all been moved to another building about 5 mins round the corner. Didn’t particularly bother us - it looked nice and clean. The check-in did seem to take a while, there was a queue out the door with just one lady on the desk and no other staff around to help her out. Our room was basic, but looked clean. Air conditioning worked great, and overall we were relatively pleased. When we first went into our room we noticed there was a bit of a stale funny smell - but we threw open the balcony door and put on the air con and assumed that would solve it. The next day the smell was slightly worse and on the final day - it went was unbearable. We came back from a day on the beach to get changed and it was awful. In reality, I know it’s just a room to sleep and that most of the day is spent in Benidorm itself - but there is a real problem with the smell of sewage that needs addressing. We spoke to the receptionist Claudia who came to the room and agreed it smelt horrid. She offered a room on the fourth floor instead but it hardly seemed worth it as we were heading out for dinner reservations and then checking out at 4:30am to get our transfer back to the airport. It wasn’t a dirty room, it was an issue with drains or something. Honestly though, it got worse and worse each night until the last night it was horrid - as a nurse I figure I’ve got a fairly robust stomach, but the final night ruined it a bit. Claudia couldn’t get hold of anyone from maintenance, and there was a distinct lack of management to support her. Clothes that we had left hanging out for dinner that night smelt horrid 😢😠

• Sharon (6/5): 41 euros for 2 nights parking! - Close to old town and beach. Absolutely nowhere to park nearby ended up in multistorey 2 nights 41 euros. Better off parking just outside main town and getting cab in to hotel. Rooms very small although clean and beds comfortable. Very basic. No coffee making facilities in room or in hotel. Couple of vending machines in lobby.
• Reno2012 (10/5): Great value hotel - We were a family group staying in this hotel and i have to say i was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Very clean. Daily maid service who even though spoke no english was lovely! They allowed us to eat our own bought food in the reception area and store food in their fridge. 24 hours tea and coffee Reception staff were pleasant enough. Location in the old town. Very close to the beach and a few mins walk to all the restaurants. Residential area Street Parking almost impossible . Would recommend if you're looking for basic good value clean accommodation.

Staff nice and polite, helped us with transfer and printed out our tickets free of charge. Free coffee service all day long. Will go back definately.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Good - Nice reception when you walk in the receptionist was nice and polite you get a door card that lets you in your room and to get back in the building. The room had a single and double bed, aircon, tv (only spanish channels), wardrobe, balcony and a bathroom with walk in shower. Everything was clean apart from the base of the shower. When checking out at 12 p.m. it was a different receptionist wasn't as polite and didn't speak much English but overall nice little basic place to lay your head and shower ready for your day

• Siw andrea aae (4/5): overrasket - vi var en familie på 3voksne, og hadde bestilt rommet 2mnd på forkant.. forsøkte å avbestille 1mnd forut, da vi egentlig ønsket oss en leilighet..fikk ikke refundert til tross for at vi var lenge på forkant, så vi bestemte oss for å ta hotellet allikevel..3dsger før ankomst sendte dem en mail på spansk,- noe som ikke sa oss noe...!! ved oppmøte får vi da beskjed om at dem krevde 200euro i depositum,- ved evt skader/bråk..disse skulle vi få tilbake ved utsjekk..kvelden før avreise gir vi beskjed om at vi reiser tidlig 0530,- men når jeg leverer min kvittering på depositumet, får vi høre at disse ikke ville bli frigitt før stuepiken hadde sjekket rommet!!?? DA er jo vi borte!! Enn om jeg hadde vært avhengig av disse pengene for å komme meg hjem???!! i tillegg vil det jo være lett å komme med " anmerkninger " når vi ikke er tilstede.. burde heller resepsjonist gått over rommet sammen med oss før avreise..10dager etter turen har jeg fortsatt ikke fått dem.. syns dette var slept..
