• John (10/5): We will definitely stay again - Lovely and clean very comfortable bed and the television was a real good size, the only thing was I struggled with making it go from station to station without turning off and restarting every time but not a criticism at all I’m sure if I had mentioned it to liz it would have been sorted 🤣 Nothing

Wide selection of fruits and a delicious English breakfast cooked to order, perfectly cooked. Parking within the property and a bonus of ev charging at a reasonable rate. Rooms are a good size, impeccably clean and the bathrooms are very tasteful with a shower that was a pleasure to use. Nothing at all really. It’s a little way from town, but only a small walk away, which we did.

• Frank Michael (8/5): - Unbedingt nach der Anfahrtsbeschreibung der Unterkunft fahren. Das Navi schickt einen sonst 300m vorher in eine Sackgasse. B&B neben der Hauptstraße nach Tenby mit viel Verkehr. Aber im Haus ist es ruhig. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Großes Familienzimmer. Gutes Frühstück. Parkplatz im Hof. 5 min bis nach Tenby.

• Kelly (9/5): A wonderful stay in a nice home with welcoming kind hosts - It was so clean and very homely which is something we look for seeing as we have children. The family room was spacious and decorated really nicely. All areas were very clean. Beds were comfy and the linen and towels were of a nice quality. The fridge in the room was handy, as was the kettle and the little night light. Breakfast was wonderful on both days. Location was amazing- we walked into Tenby and got the open top bus back which dropped us outside. Car park was ample and we left the car where it was for the entire 3 days. Just loved our stay!

• Paul (10/5): Terrific Tenby - Location (5min drive to either Tenby or Saundersfoot), hosts, home cooked breakfast (to order), homely feel, quiet & comfortable rooms, well appointed. Parking. Whole family enjoyed the stay & would happily return. These comments do not relate to the hotel, but the phone signal around the hotel (outside of wifi) wasn't great. Also, I would recommend booking taxis well in advance if you plan on using them. Uber isn't widely available (never got a driver assigned during several attempts) and on a Saturday afternoon (during peak season) I rang 2 local firms to be told they had no drivers available for over an hour, 2 hours in one instance.

The family room layout was perfect and the beds were comfortable. We loved the breakfasts a s Liz and Dave were very friendly. Nothing to dislike, it was very functional for us.

However, you are a walk from Tenby, so bear this in mind. We didn't mind the walk - helped us walk off the breakfast! 😉
• Dennis Robert Adams (10/5): One of the most friendly places we have stayed at. - One of the most friendly places we have visited. They were also very flexible, bearing in mind that we were sailing, and weather played a part.
• Michaela (10/5): - Fantastic hosts, nothing to much trouble. Sorted accommodation for the children with a larger room. Location with in walking distance to beaches and facilities. Breakfast was superb. Would highly recommend. No complaints at all.

Mattress and the pillows were very hard didn’t sleep well. Long mirror on the inside of a door but I couldn’t see a close socket therefore unable to dry hair near a mirror.

• Steve (10/5): Fantastic Friendly Place - Dave & Liz are very friendly & helpful with information. The location is fantastic, right between Tenby & Saundersfoot which made it possible to walk there daily. The rooms are very clean & cosy, comfortable bed. Love the little touches of the little bottle of fresh milk & water in your room daily. The little fridge in your room is a brilliant bonus. There wasn't a bottle of 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner in the room. Had to go out & buy some.

There was a heatwave while we were staying (30°C+ during days) and there were even 3 small fans in the room, which made the hot nights very comfortable for sleeping. We look forward to returning in the future :)

• Dan (7/5): Nice room, helpful owners, restrictive rules (no bike in room, don't wash wetsuit with shower) - The hosts were very helpful and accommodated me when I asked for early breakfast on Saturday (long course weekend bike day) When I arrived I was told I couldn't put my bike in my room which was not advertised when booking. When I asked why and said other hotels allowed me to put my bike in my room (many times) and was told "why would they allow that?". The owner let me put my bike in the garage but I was worried it would get stolen (I have had a bike stolen from a secure lock up before).

The bus isn't far, nor a good meal at the pub. By far the best guest house. Free parking available on the property. Nothing bad to say. Nothing, it was lovely.

Good sized double room with perfect en suite shower room. Breakfast very good. Varied choice of cereals, fruit salads, and full cooked breakfast. Accessibility off the main road very good. Signage good, easy to find. Good on site parking. Perfectly located for Saundersfoot and Tenby and other local attractions.
• Jolene (10/5): Our stay was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for more from the hosts. - The properties location was perfect for our needs, easy access to both Tenby and Saundersfoot with the advantage of on site parking, which is a must for us, who wants to lug their belongings half way across town. Most of the town properties have no parking. The property is clean and modern, our room was large with a well appointed layout. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, breakfast was lovely with lots of choice of cereals, fruits, yoghurts and juices also the option for freshly cooked breakfast. Honestly couldn’t fault this property.

The accommodation was lovely, tidy and in a very good spot to venture around both saundersfoot and Tenby. The whole place is very modern and exceptionally clean. • Lizabee (9/5): An excellent all round experience. - The rooms are modern and in beautiful condition. There was great attention to detail in the presentation and maintenance of the property which was pristine. It was located between Saundersfoot and Tenby so really convenient for both. The breakfasts were top quality and the hosts really helpful and friendly. Can highly recommend. If you have a street facing room, there is a bit of traffic noise which doesn't bother if the windows are closed but if you need the windows open ( can get a bit stuffy overnight with a couple sharing) it can be a bit distracting. Fortunately the hosts had provided two fans so we were able to avoid opening the window by sleeping with one of the fans on - which circulated the air nicely and solved the problem. I have to stress, though, that this wasn't a big problem at all and we would definitely recommend Pen Mar.

• Sarah (10/5): Highly recommended - The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Great shower (once we worked out the power switch was on the bedroom wall). Very bright lighting, which I like and bedside lamps available if required. Tea, coffee and fresh milk provided and fridge in the wardrobe. Good soundproofing between rooms. Great location for both Saundersfoot and Tenby and we walked to both for dinner. Very friendly hosts with a substantial breakfast cooked to order. Would highly recommend. Would like some hooks in the bathroom. The bathroom light is on a sensor so no sneaking to the loo in the night. A fly got into the bathroom one night and kept activating the lights.
