Guest Reviews
- 513lynnel (2/5): Unprofessional, low class - What a trashy dump. If you're looking for drunks, dope, diseases, or prostitutes this is the place to stay. If you decide to check in anyways check out the older lady at front desk nose. It's always covered in white powder! They stole $275.00 from my daughter that happened to be a flood victim during Hurricane Florence refusing to give her money back after she was approached several times to purchase drugs by drunks that walked into her room. Poor, low class, heartless management that caters to trash. It's businesses like this that give Myrtle Beach bad name. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. This place is disgusting
- Clemson4thewin (4/5): Myrtle Beach was 96% booked... - And we didn't want to pay $250-300 for a room directly on the ocean. We paid avout $165 per night with taxes. You get what you pay for. The room felt dingy and roaches and a a few flies were present. The staff at check in/out were extremely nice and so was our maid.
Pro's: cheaper rate than other hotels and one block off beach. Staff is friendly.
Con's: roaches and dingy poorly lit rooms.
- Wanda (6/5): - Very small. Ok if not inviting anyone over. Only room for bare essentials.Wall unit ac very loud. Staff were great. 1 block from beach close to boardwak.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This is a Horrible hotel, it was very dirty and uncomfortable. It was also very cheap, and very close to strip.
- 287almap (2/5): THE OASIS AND FOUNTAINBLEAU INN - as a greeting there is a sign at the door next to the hotel sign letting you know that if you knock on that door the owner will be rude to you.
we arrived on Saturday and on Sunday morning I notice the bath tube was disgusting. I asked for service and I was informed the hotel was a motel not a hotel rooms don't get clean up every day. So if clean is important to you DO NOT STAY IN THIS MOTELS. Same owners same administration
- Verified traveler (4/5): Unsatisfied customers - Our stay at the oasis was not great, I asked for extra pillows the manager of the hotel acted like I was asking him for money or something. I would not recommend any one to stay there you will be disappointed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Hotel looked like it was falling apart, bed was hard as a rock, every day had young shady kids just sitting out there yelling back and forth didn't feel safe at all, kept getting woke up to screaming and sounded like furniture moving at 6am, felt like a very bad part of down u wouldn't go to ever
- marcus (6/5): Cheap stay - Was ok for few nights and cheap but very basic
- AGRinSC (8/5): Inexpensive, clean, convenient - I always shop cheap, and I found this room on Expedia. I was apprehensive but, after all, I did choose the cheapest available room. The motel harkens back to 1951. A small room with two queen size beds there was room for no more than the beds and a night stand. The bathroom was predictably tiny, but it has a deep tub good for a soak.Stiil one would expect this to be a flophouse, but it was not! Checking in, we were told that 515 Irish exchange students (girls) had spent the summer there. The room was freshly painted, the bed was new and comfortable, the linens fresh, all vacuumed and dusted spic and span.Best of all, I drank my coffee early in the morning on my stoop and watched the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean! For the 61.00 that I paid, no complaints here!
- luismV9905WP (8/5): Nice place to stay - The place doesn't look all that nice but the location is nice it was nice knowing someone got shot there a few weeks ago it's the "ghetto" but it's great to stay a day to 2 recommended just for location and the staff ! The lady up front VERY friendly and nice they made me want to come back
- steveaG3929SI (6/5): 40th Anniversary - We stopped here on our way home to Rossford, Ohio. It was the 4th of July week. We stopped here on Thursday, July 2nd. We asked if they had a room for one night. The sign said 3 day minimum for the holiday week. They helped us out for one night. The room is older than normal but it was clean. Nice pool if you don't want the beach which is 2 blocks away. The boardwalk was just down the road from here.
- RightRachel (2/5): Sadly, this motel closed - This was once a jewel in Myrtle Beach. The motel's quality started falling then it closed completely. Hope a new owner takes it over and once again opens a place with clean, simple rooms and a sparkling clean pool.
- racinchick (2/5): BEWARE - Crappy!!Feels like your in prision!!!!!Surrunded by block walls painted white!!Nothing AWARD winning aboutthe pool at all!!!!Also surrounded by a brick wall!!!Crappy Don't stay here!!!
