• Louise (10/5): We had a comfortable and luxurious experience in Veronica’s apartment and would like to thank Matteo for his warm welcom - This apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Our host was very responsive to any questions and Matteo met us with very clear and welcoming instructions. He shared map locations to find groceries and restaurants. The location makes it easy to walk and lose yourself in the beauty of Venice. The robes and comfortable bed and linens made this a luxurious stay. The view out all the many windows made the climb up the stairs worth every step!

• Chris (10/5): Perfekt- und noch besser als beschrieben - Das Appartement ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und mit praktischen Dingen ausgestattet; überkomplette Küche, Kaffeemaschine, Milchschäumer, Wasserkocher, Sodastream, Entsafter usw.. Im Schlafzimmer neben den Betten USB Anschlüsse, Steckdosen Adapter für DE/AT; Einwegzahnbürsten, Einwegrasierer, Vorrat an Kaffeepads, und das allerbeste am Aufenthalt war unser Host Carla, die uns nicht nur im Vorfeld alle Informationen zur Anreise (mit Fotos zur Erklärung) geschickt hat, sondern uns auch tatkräftig unterstützt hat, als wir gleich nach Ankunft Taschendieben zum Opfer gefallen sind. Ohne wenn und aber 10 Punkte. In einigen Kommentaren wird die Treppe beanstandet- für Venedig eine normal breite und normal steile Treppe eben, 72 Stufen über 2 Etagen. Nichts besonderes, zumal man dann im Appartement angekommen für das Stiegen steigen mit Luxus belohnt wird. Heizung: Venedig ist nun mal anders, auch wenn die Heizkörper zu „deutschen“ Zeiten kalt sind, es hatte durchgehend die gewünschten 20 Grad, also für uns ungewöhnliche Zeiten um zu heizen aber alles bestens. Da gibt es wirklich keinen einzigen Punkt zur Kritik.

• Andrea (10/5): - Viele Bewertungen haben die Stufen zur Wohnung sehr negativ bewertet. Allerdings sind diese, wenn man normal fit, ist gut zu bewältigen und es ist keineswegs ein enges Treppenhaus. Abgesehen der Stufen bucht man eine fantastische Wohnung mit enormer Aufenthaltsqualität, ausreichend Raum und einer Ausstattung, die nichts zu wünschen übrig lässt. Wir haben zwar nicht gekocht, dennoch würde die Küche alles dazu bieten, neben diversen Pfannen und Töpfen auch einen Eierkocher oder einen Sandwichmaker. Neben den vorhandenen Bademänteln und mehr als ausreichend Handtüchern, als für fünf Tage eigentlich nötig gewesen wären, gab es im Badezimmer mehr als ausreichendes Toilettenpapier, Kosmetik Pads, Duschgel, Shampoo, Conditioner und sogar Zahnbürsten mit einer kleinen Tube Zahnpasta. Absolut erwähnenswert ist allerdings auch der persönliche Service, der beim Einchecken in die Wohnung als auch während des Aufenthaltes absolut spitzenmäßig war. Der zusätzlich gebuchte Transport vom Flughafen und zurück hat sicherlich noch mal etwas gekostet, lief aber reibungslos und wurde tatkräftig, als das Boot zur Abholung nicht ganz pünktlich war, mit diversen Nachfragen und weiteren Anrufen beim Bootsanbieter unterstützt. Wir fühlten uns zu jeder Zeit des Aufenthalts wunderbar aufgehoben und haben immer einen Ansprechpartner für mögliche Fragen oder zum Beispiel das Anschalten der Heizung in der Wohnung gehabt. Für uns gibt es keinerlei negativen Erfahrungswerte, wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen und auch definitiv weiterempfehlen!!! Nichts 🫶

• Joyce (3/5): A Very Disappointing Experience - The property was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Given a duvet to use on the bed if it was cold, which it was. Apparently it had 3 small yellow marks left on it. Charged 25 Euro by the property for dry cleaning. The property manager had a problem getting the 25 Euro as apparently they couldn’t take it out of the pre authorised payment of 100 euros we made when we signed in. Not sure why as normally a pre authorised payment allows this to happen. We have not had any of our pre authorised payment of 100 euros returned to us. The cleaner also made an unsubstantiated claim that we had an extra guest staying in the apartment as when he arrived on the dot of 10.00am (check out) my grandson was there to help carry my luggage down the stairs. ( I’m 72 and there are over 70 steep stairs and my daughter has a health condition.) He also spent time in the apartment as his parents were also staying in Venice. I have been booking with booking.com for 20 years and have never had an issue with any property I have booked previously.

• Petra (10/5): Ein toller Kurztrip in einen coolen und top ausgestatteten Appartement, perfekte Betreuung vor Ort - Die Lage war einfach Top, man kommt bequem mit dem Wassertaxi an und geht in ein paar Minuten zum Apartement. Dieses ist nicht weit weg von div. Sehenswürdigkeiten und viele Lokale sind auch gleich in der Nähe. Es Terasse ladet zum entspannen nach vielen Schritten ein. Man sollte auch fit sein um die 80 steilen Stufen mehrmals täglich zu schaffen und kein schweres Gepäck wäre von Vorteil. Das Appartement hat eine Ausstattung die keine Wünsche offen lässt (Bademantel, Hausschuhe, zwei Kaffemaschinen, Kosmetikartikel..... Schlafzimmer ist straßenseitig und es ist nur eine kleine Gasse aber da ist schon bald in der früh einiges los. Auch gab es einen nerivigen Hund am morgen. Das es Klima gibt, haben wir dann in der Früh die Fenster geschlossen und diese aufgedreht

• christian (9/5): Großes Apartment mit Top Lage und Ausstattung - Super ausgestattet großes Apartment mit kleiner Terrasse. Die Lage in der Nähe vom Markusplatz ist natürlich Top. Man muss gut zu Fuß sein um die steilen Stufen bis zum Apartment zu schaffen. Es gab zur Begrüßung kühles Wasser. Check in mit Matteo hat sehr gut geklappt durch gute Kommunikation mit ihm über WhatsApp. An heißen Tagen wird die Wohnung sehr schnell warm. Es gibt zwar 2 Klimaanlagen, jedoch bei verlassen der Wohnung muss der Strom abgestellt werden und es wird sofort warm in der Wohnung. (Sehe natürlich dass, falls man stundenlang nicht in der Wohnung ist die Klimaanlage läuft und das kosten verursacht). Die Terrasse ist lieb gestaltet jedoch an heißen Sommertagen bereits in der früh sehr aufgeheizt jedoch gibt es einen Sonnenschirm. Das ist keine Kritik sondern sollte man einfach wissen wenn man im Sommer das Apartment bucht.

• Christopher (9/5): Generous apartment in central Venice - Large and comfortable apartment in central Venice. There was a well equipped kitchen and a balcony with beautiful views. There are about 70 stairs - so this is for the healthy. Early evening airport arrival seems to be problematic for a check in. We had to pay to change our flights.

Plenty of places to shop and eat nearby. Water bus station are close. St Marks was a few mins walk. Like everyone else says, the stairs. Bathroom is dated when compared to rest of the apartment.

The view was perfect. The apartment was is a great location with lots of really nice places to eat. The only thing to be aware is we were on the 3rd floor with no lift. Not an issue, but several flights of stairs to climb.

The room where the washing machine and dryer were located appeared to be a dumping ground. We specifically chose this apartment for its advertised laundry facilities, but the condition of the room made us uncomfortable using them. Additionally, when we opened the washing machine door, we discovered a load of wet laundry still inside, further discouraging us from utilising the appliances.

The apartment was spacious with a gorgeous terrace, the bed was so comfortable, my husband wanted to take it home with us. Ha! Carla was so sweet & accommodating during check in. I took a water taxi from the train station to Hotel Danieli then from there it was a very easy walk to the apartment. The apartment was extremely well-stocked, even better than what you’d typically find in a hotel room. As a solo traveler it was way more space than I needed but appreciated and I loved chilling on the terrace. I’m American and like my room temperature very cold and the AC units worked very well. Overall my expectations were exceeded and I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Venezia. I’m in extremely good shape but the stairs were still tiring, especially after dinner & a few drinks, so do keep that in mind especially if you have large luggage.

• Bb (10/5): Fantastic choice for Venice - What an amazing apartment to stay in while in Venice. It offers respite from the chaos of the tourists filled streets. This top floor apartment is well laid out with all the necessary amenities. Very spacious for two and very quiet despite being in a busy section of town. The open concept kitchen/living room made staying very comfortable. The kitchen was set up to actually cook in with all the appropriate appliances & utensils one needs to actually eat. The private terrace outside the kitchen with morning sun & evening shade was an added bonus. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner in both the bedroom and living room was a plus in the summer heat. Access to an in unit washing machine and dryer was super helpful. Good water pressure in the shower with a selection of products provided was a nice treat. Overall, this apartment felt like being home. The location is close to the Basilica di San Marco so walking distance to all the tourist sections of town. Restaurants, cafes and grocery stores are just foot steps away. Our co-host, Carla, was incredibly helpful and made us feel welcomed the moment we arrived. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The stairs, there are 72 stairs up to the apartment so we couldn't carry 30kg bags up the stairs but the apartment manager/owner organised a porter for us for 20€ to carry our bags up. We did the same to bring our bags down on departure.

• Jacqueline (8/5): 'Heaven' Apartments is appropriately named, and we highly recommend! - Beautiful, clean and spacious apartment with allot of windows and nice decor! There is a very comfortable bed and generous amenities. The terrace is spacious and a real bonus. The Host has created a binder for guests to read about the history of Venice, along with suggestions of things to do and see, along with what to watch out for. It is very well written and informative. She also left a map that we used to get around. The stairs weren't as challenging as we thought, and we didn't mind the exercise either after eating such good Venetian food! Upon arrival, we found only three wine glasses, and one was broken. We had also enquired if there were champagne glasses before arrival, and we were told there were, but there were no proper champagne flutes in the apartment. Initially our host was not receptive to this complaint, but remedied the situation the following morning with six new wine glasses and six new champagne flutes. Brava! Also, check out time is 10:00 am, when most hotels in the area have an 11:00 am check out. We had requested a later check out but to no avail. We were also told we could leave our bags in the corridor so this would be helpful in planning our last day in Venice. This changed however, so we had our bags to deal with which didn't fit in the lockers in San Marco's square. Because of this inconvenience, we got an 11:00 am check out but it was still a challenging situation. Last, there is an old picture of a beautiful dining wooden table in the listing that doesn't exist anymore and should be taken out as it is misleading. The current dinning room table is damaged, narrow, and the only upgrade necessary in the apartment. (I hope this will all be helpful for the host and future guests)!.

• Di (10/5): Everything and more! - I have zero complaints about this property, the management, presentation, expectations-vs-pictures/description/reviews, and the location, I could go on and on. Carla, our host, who met us - was AWEmazing with her warm smile greeting us upon arrival. She graciously accommodated our arrival time, and provided excellent directions to find the property, made very useful suggestions of where to go and dine, and her communication for the property's facilities/functions was superb. The property is ideally located for easy access to the water taxi, major attractions, quiet location away from tourist noise/traffic. We stayed in several locations across Italy. I am not sure why it appears that shower stalls are so tiny. I am 5' tall with an average build and many of the properties around the country have very narrow and shallow shower stalls. I was delighted to find not only a proper shower but an abundance of consistent hot water. Many places, this one included, use a tankless water system that fluctuates the stream of hot water - this one was steady and with great pressure flow. The natural lighting in the room was wonderful and the balcony was lovely. Plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, slippers, toiletries, and a complimentary bottle of wine. This host truly makes you feel welcome and exudes Venitian hospitality. Selfishly, I would like to keep this place a secret to myself so it doesn't become so popular that it is hard to book in the future... but Carla and the property are just too good to keep to myself :) To all of you seeking a place to stay.... you are welcome ;) In the future, when I visit Venice, I will stay here again. Having to leave so soon.

A little difficult with luggage. If you are fit, it will be fine. The views are so nice and it is a lovely and very comfortable apartment.

Big, rommy and very comfortable. Living room, dining, kitchen, bedroom , bathroom, terrace, laundry room. All the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's nice to do your laundry there. The apartment has all the amenities. It is very quiet and in a great location. I would stay here again. Thanks. Probably the stair. But we knew this going in. So no real complaint.

• Anne (10/5): A great apartment in a fantastic location. - The apartment is in an excellent location near to St Mark's Square, restaurants and bars. The water front is less then 5 minutes away, so getting to the apartment from the waterbus was easy, especially since we were met by Carla who proved to be knowledgeable and helpful, a delight to meet. The apartment was spacious, clean and very well-equipped, with plenty of toiletries, spare towels, etc and loads of gadgets in the kitchen. Air conditioning in the main rooms could be operated separately, which helped cool rooms to the desired temperatures. The laundry room with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board was also a real bonus. Even though the apartment is reached by steep flights of stairs, I would say it is well worth the 'climb', especially when you see the views from the roof top terrace. Communication with the host was excellent from the point of booking onwards to arrival and throughout our stay. I do not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay in the heart of the city but at the same time have space to relax in.
• Peter (8/5): Very comfortable apartment, Fabulous location. - Fabulous location close to St Mark's basilica. Very well equipped and comfortable apartment. Staff very friendly and helpful. Access to the apartment is via very steep stairs up which luggage has to be carried. It was fine for us but this apartment would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who has heavy luggage.

• Ethan (10/5): Spacious and airy rooms above the rest in Venice. - Love the spaciousness of the apartment. We enjoyed leisurely breakfast every day before setting off on our wW oaks around Venice. Our adult daughter joined us for several days of the 5 nights we were there and the apartment was comfortable for all of us. The facilities are great, kitchen great, bathroom great and the AC works well. The apartment has awesome light and a feeling of privacy despite the windows all around. Finally the location was just what we wanted, close to St Marks and San Zaccaria vaporetto stop which is convenient for connecting to the other islands and we walked to the train station twice to meet arriving family. The stairs up are a haul when its hot and with luggage, we travel heavy because we are out for 6 weeks this trip. That said I got used to the climb by the third day and truly did not find it burdensome after that.

• Carl (9/5): Beautiful Apartment with Excellent Service and Atmosphere - Beautiful Apartment with Excellent Service and Atmosphere The apartment was beautiful and spacious, providing all the comforts one could need. We enjoyed having coffee on the terrace as the sun rose. The hostess was fantastic, taking care of everything and answering all our questions. She even arranged transportation from the airport to the apartment, including a luxurious water taxi - the best way to arrive in Venice. The only downside was the fourth-floor location. However, once upstairs, we found tranquility that allowed us to forget the typical tourist hustle and bustle. Highly recommended for a stay in Venice.

• Marie (10/5): Great Place! - This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Venice. The apartment is clean and equipped with everything you might need for a long stay. Realize you'll be climbing stairs as the apartment is on the top floor of the building.

The location, the quiet nights even though it's so close to Piazza San Marco, restaurants, and a busy neighborhood - we had a lovely stay in one of the most beautiful apartments we've stayed in anywhere. Super clean, extremely comfortable king bed and seating area, lots of cooking and dining space, and a gorgeous little terrace area. If it were possible, I'd rate it 5+++ stars. We will stay here again when we're in Venice. We travel light and waking machines are essential - the little laundry room here was a bonus! There was nothing lacking, it was all perfect.

• Giorgos (9/5): Superb - Nice, modern house, fully equipped with a relaxing terrace. Very near to San Marco square. Victoria the owner (as well as her staff member Carla) super kind and helpful. Highly recommended Moisture on the walls, but this is a typical phenomenon in Venice. No elevator and kind of difficult to climb so many stairs.

• Tor (7/5): Good - Great location-spacious apartment Main electrical switch had to be turned off when leaving the apartment to get the key out.This means AC is always off when you are not in the apartment.The AC had not sufficient capacity resulting in a very warm apartment all the time. The 70 stairs to reach the apartment is not for elderly people or people will any leg troubles.
