• jozef (5/5): - Raňajky zariadenie nepodáva, ale lokalita je vynikajúca. Boli sme tam dve noci. Vzhľadom k cene bolo zariadenie na priemernej úrovni. Ubytovali sme sa tam pre plánovaný výlet. Keď sme sa vracali z výletu zdalo sa nám pred vchodom akosi veľa ľudí keď sme prišli bližšie videli sme že je tam svadba. Nechápem ako môže niekto ubytovať hostí ktorí tam spia a o poschodie pod nimi je rómska svadba. Ten hluk sa nedal vydržať a tak sme do hodiny odišli. Keď niekto chce zarobiť tak nech tam nerobí ubytovanie. Už sa tam viac nevrátime.

O tom, že je reštaurácia zatvorená nás nízko neinformoval, ostuda, nikdy viac Skoro všetko, pretekajú voda na WC, povolená doska na WC, žiadny toaletný papier, tepla voda tečie ako sa jej chce, ráno som zistil, že sa nemám kde najesť, recepcnu som videl jedenkrát, bez záujmu o zákazníkov, ešte aj klamala, že žiadnu reštauráciu ste nemali,

Staršie zariadenia, špinavá (ozvracaná) dolámaná manželská posteľ, malé tenké matrace na jednolôžkových posteliach, pleseň okolo vane celkovo naozaj veľmi špinavé zanedbané ubytovanie. Suita s dvomi spálňami v tomto zariadení neodporúčam. Absolútne nezodpovedajúci pomer cena/kvalita.

Na izbe chýbala chladnička,ale bola k dispozícii spoločnä na recepcii.TV ani satelit nefungoval,čo bol trocha problém nakoľko sme tam boli ubytovaní šesť nocí.Raňajky sme mali v cene a hotel ich pritom nepripravuje.Ako náhrada nám boli ponúknuté obedy,ktoré boli veľmi chutné.

The cleaning lady who we had to pay the City Tax to spoke no English and had not been given any change making payment difficult.

• Sofiia (2/5): Very poor - Location of the hotel was good. We absolutely hated the fact that no one at the hotel warned us about wedding below us. It was so loud we couldn’t sleep till 3 am. It was absolute disaster cause we had to wake up early and drive for 8 hours. Stuff didn’t mention that or before we moved it. Also we asked for a hair dryer cause it was no inside the room. Admin told us she will bring it to us but it never happened.

• Astill (2/5): This is a very poorly run property and would not recommend it. - It was close to the friends that we were meeting. The room only had a skylight. It did not have a mini fridge to keep my drinks cold. The sheets had holes in them and were very warn out. The wifi signal was very poor and it took several hours to do one report. They have banquet rooms that they rent out and had two parties going and unfortunately they never mentioned to us that they did not have a curfue on their activities. I tried to contact the recption to ask what could be done and they had left and was unable to contact them. Along with that, some of the families who were part of the festivities were staying in the hotel and their children were running up and down the hall until 1:00 am! I believe my wife and I only got about 4 hours of broken sleep at best. When trying to take a shower, the water pressure in the shower was so poor that the water only dribbled out and when I got out of the shower the water was running all over the shower floor! not a good situation. There were a few more issues but needless to say we would not recommend this location to anyone we know or like.

• Alona (6/5): Hotel is perfectly located and offers good accodomation accordingly to its price - The positive aspects: everything was prepared for our late arrival and we got detailed instructions how to get to the hotel and how to get our key. Also the hotel has a big restaurant on the ground floor where you can order a tasty breakfast The room was dark and had 1 tunnel window in the roof. So it looked different than it was in photo We had no chance to meet any personnel, as we arrived at 11 pm in the evening and left at 11 am on Sunday and till that time there was nobody at reception. I would be fine to select this hotel the next time if there are any rooms with normal windows ( I feel discomfort personally when there is no normal window. My son was fine with it)

• Alena (5/5): Passable - Great location. Tasty breakfast and nice staff that will inform you in advance how to access inside when the reception desk is closed. Well working aircondition. Quite old and used facilities especially furniture in the room. Ripped carpet. There is just one window that is in some kind of long chimney in the roof. Hard mattresses. Double bed is made of two beds together, with a wooden frame in the middle. No fridge in the room and also there was constantly some nice during the night, that repeats. The worst is tattered towels, that shouldnt happen, it doesnt cost that much to replace it.

Noisy guests (laud company) in the middle of the night on the corridors, the reception is empty from 20 h, I can not ask any help regarding this. It was not possible to sleep enough. The other problem is the roof window. At dawn, it is already light in the room, and there are no curtains or blinds on the roof window.

• Matthew (7/5): A well located hotel in the center of Kosice - I spent two nights at this property while on business in nearby Presov. It is located in the historic center about 200 m from the main square. The room was on the second floor, the same as the reception (note: no wheelchair access as far as I could see) and was windowless with a strange skylight in a shaft that seemed to be about 2 floors above the room. I requested a double bed but was given two singles hastily pushed together (you could still see the drag marks on the carpet). The bed(s) was on the harder side but didn't affect my sleep. One thing I found a nuisance was the central heating, with the pipes creaking frequently throughout the night. I liked the modern bathroom. The breakfast I found to be ala carte, which I don't particularly like when travelling on business as it can sometimes lead to delays in the morning, but luckily there were not many other guests and the breakfast was prepared quickly. There is no onsite parking, it is possible to park in a cramped parking lot about 100 m from the hotel for a 5 EURO per night charge. One very positive note is that I heard the receptionist book in a foreign family and her English was excellent! She was also very helpful to me soring out the car parking and made sure my bill was waiting for me at an unmanned reception when I left early the last day. See the comments above. All in all, I was satisfied with my stay and would consider this hotel again in the future.

We landed late so our check-in was 9pm... the room stunk from cigarettes, and the whole night the cigarettes smell was coming from the bathroom, it was room 201. We couldn't sleep in there so wasted all night with no sleep as the smell was constant. No one at the reception available or to call to swap the room. Paid for nothing as didn't use the facility, I asked the place for full refund as advertised as no smoking.. I even asked few guests that rented different rooms to come and and smell the room we were in and everyone was like no this is not acceptable. I suffer with lung condition and there is no window, cigarette smoke through the night fully, WE DID not sleep at all....

If you plan to spend most time outside then Penzion (by the way hotel is called Penzion Plaza, not City Center as booking.com name might suggest) is a great solution. Interiors could be refreshed, furniture probably remembers Velvet Revolution;)

• Jana (5/5): should be better - We definitely liked the location in the centre and the fact, it was a quiet place. The breakfast was good. The hotel is in an old townhouse, on the first floor. Everything is very dark. There is just one ceiling room very high in the room, so our room was dark, impossible to let fresh air in. The restaurant is on the ground floor. The bathroom is very spartan, and you must be careful not to flood it while showering.

The price was also ok, at least for my one-night stay. It's a bit cold and the AC was broken. And the window on the roof really disturbs morning sleep.
