Guest Reviews
- Klaus (4/5): - I paid $314 for 2 night during Easter (high season). It was definitely not worth the amount. The hotel is old and looks like it hasn’t been remodeled in decades. The staff was very nice. Be careful how much you pay for this place.
- Luis (4/5): - The place needs serious maintenance. Also the pool is not clean. Breakfast was OK. Kind person in the front desk.
- Olivia (10/5): - The hotel overall was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The service was greatly appreciated as it made our trip to Peten memorable. The road to the hotel could be improved by the town as its rocky and the drive in slowed us down. Other than that great place, quiet, and extremely comfortable
- Kaari (8/5): Off the beaten path - We were very happy when we finally arrived at the hotel after a very long day of traveling from Belize City. The hardest part was the journey from the Santa Elena/Tikal intersections as the road around the lake is not paved for the last 10KM or so from the hotel. The hotel itself was nice and the staff were friendly. We were able to play at the pool and grab food at the hotel restaurant. The servers were there to cater to you but the service, over all was slow (not enough people in the kitchen perhaps). At breakfast in the morning we waited 20 minutes just to get a menu and wait for someone to come out to acknowledge that we were even there to eat. We took the hotel shuttle to Tikal one morning. We were ready to leave the lobby by 8am and arrived at the park at 10AM, due to traffic on Easter. We spent from 10am-3:30pm in the park walking around and enjoying the sights.
The hotel room itself was comfortable. Nice pillows and linens, refrigerator, coffee maker. The shower had soap and hot and cold water. The AC worked wonderfully and we had a beautiful view of the lake out back.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Tiene muchas deficiencias. Inaccesible para personas con discapacidad.
- Julie (8/5): - It was great and food was good although it was way too far out from Flores - an hour bus ride
