- Sayf (6/5): - I was drawn by the hospitalier connection And enjoyed the Toledo forced swords. The room was certainly an un upgrade to my homeless. The window opened onto a pleasant courtyard with a banana trees & Checkout 11am. Quite the spot. A fair starting if you dare to stay within the old city walls

- Michael (8/5): - Wir hatten Zimmer 2, sehr günstig, Fenster zum Innenhof. Im Zimmer, was man braucht (Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, Kaffee und Tee) alles ist nett eingerichtet. Im Hotel war es angenehm ruhig, ob wohl es in der quirligen Altstadt liegt. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Neben dem Zimmer ist der Wirtschaftsraum, da lief am morgen lange irgendein Gerät, das staubsaugeraehnliche Geräusche machte. Aber es störte nicht sehr. Man sah das Personal Bügeln, muss eben auch sein. Insgesamt waren wir sehr positiv überrascht. Für den günstigen Preis war es sehr gut und angenehm. Im gemütlichen innenhof kommt man schnell mit Gästen ins Gespräch.

- Nora (8/5): - The good: Great value, excellent location, always hot water in the shower, close to bus station and plenty of things in walking distance. Friendly staff and reception always manned and friendly. Hotel is quiet and little noise disturbance despite being right in the middle of the old town. The bed is huge and the pillows are nice. Lots of fluffy towels provided. Room cleaned during my stay. The bad: The shower is so small you get water everywhere every time you shower. The air conditioning will only work once all windows are shut, which is fine, except the windows don't shut properly because they need maintaining, so the air conditioner doesn't work. This meant some very hot nights. The kettle doesn't work properly and boils continuously - this is a fire hazard. The bed has probably the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on.

I rang the bell but there was no response. A kind neighbor across the street called for me. I asked for a receipt but was told it would be given to me tomorrow, but when I checked out, no one was there either. The room was only half-cleaned. The futon looked unpleasant, and there was lipstick on the center of it, where my face would be. It felt gross so I covered it with the sheets. The air conditioning was weak and it was cold. However, it was well-located and easily accessible. Would I stay again? No. An unmanned hotel with no services whatsoever.

Otelden ziyade pansiyon gibi bir yer. 1 gece idare ederiz diye kaldık , ancak 1 gece için bile tavsiye edilmeyecek bir yer. - Slawomir (10/5): Świetny cichy hotelik - Pokoje nieduże, ale niezwykle stylowo wyposażone. Cenna niezależność od recepcji, gdyż masz klucz do pokoju i hotelu. Patio i weranda na dachu do ogólnego wykorzystania. Wifi niezbyt szybkie, ale przeważnie niezawodne. O świetnej lokalizacji w centrum Starego Miasta (cudowne wąskie uliczki i mnóstwo zabytków, warto pospacerować znacznie dłużej, niż chwilę), a jednocześnie w bardzo cichej uliczce (liczne barki i kawiarnie w pobliżu) napisano wiele, więc nie warto powtarzać. Dodam jedynie o tym, co mniej znane, a przeze mnie bardzo polecane: łatwy dojazd autobusem z lotniska i na lotnisko (ze stacji Roda, pierwszy i niezawodny jest o 4.45 rano!, wiem, bo skorzystałem), fantastyczne kebaby przy stacji KTEL, tani supermarket na pobliskiej ul. Platanos, świetne obiady w restauracji Hermes - w przystępnej cenie, niedoceniana, a niedaleko położona plaża Elli (przyjemne małe otoczaki), zupełnie nieznana bardzo ładna cicha promenada na zachodnim wybrzeżu, warto zacząć od Hrisanthou Square w stronę Ialyssou (niezwykłe widoki + ukryta w jaskini kapliczka), koniecznie obejrzeć widoki z monasterów Panagia Tsampika i Profitis. Miłego pobytu.

We found the hotel using Google maps and were let into the hotel by another guest, where we had to wait for the manager to check us in. Small, but pleasant room with tea and coffee. Hard bed. Το δωμάτιο μας ήταν πολύ μικρό (ήταν στο ισόγειο) και χρειάζεται λίγο βελτίωση. Μείναμε μόνο για ένα βράδυ, οπότε για εμάς ήταν ΟΚ, αλλά για μεγαλύτερη διαμονή σίγουρα δεν θα ήταν βολικό.

It is advisable to make prompt arrangement with the reception on your check in time as she might not be at premises.

Bed had been broken and not fixed particularly well so creaked. On the last night there were 2 cockroaches in the room which we needed to remove (please note it was a very warm day). Roof terrace was lovely but had no shade so we only used it at night.

Despite me phoning hotels.com to be advised that reception was open until 12 midnight and my e mailing them to say I might be late I was locked out. I did arrive before midnight. I eventually gained access because I managed to attract attention of another person staying in the hotel who let me in. I the found a room which was unoccupied and not cleaned and found some clean bedding and slept in it, leaving for the boat to Symi before any staff had turned up at 8.30am. I want my money back and anyone arriving late be warned.

- martina (10/5): WONDERFUL STAY & AMAZING SERVICE!!! - In this price category in a great location (side street, everything in walking distance) we did not expect a lot, just a clean bed and bathroom. But we were in for a VERY PLEASANT surprise! The owner did go out of his way multiple times (top Service and beyond), carried our luggage, made local phone calls for us and even 'chased' us after our check out to let us know that our cab was 5 min. late! 5-Star service and on top a beautiful room, cold water in the fridge (for free!!) and access to tea and water 24/7 in the lobby. If you are looking for a cute hotel in a great location without unpleasant surprises, this is the place to go!!!

Despite the inconvenience of having to arrange arrival in advance with the owner, who was not present during our stay, the location couldn’t be better and the night attendant was very helpful. The owner helped us get a taxi to our next destination and he actually upgraded us to two single rooms rather than a room with two single beds. We will stay there again on our return trip and recommend it highly for its value.

- Graeme (10/5): Wonderful hotel - What a wonderful hotel, right in the heart of the old town. Wasn't the easiest to find as taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong gate and we had a bit of a hike with suitcases over cobbles late on Saturday night, however we were saved by hotel reception guy as he heard the cases rumble by. Hotel itself is very rustic, comfortable and pretty quiet despite being near a busy square. It has a lovely roof top seated area which we visited most evenings with our bottle of wine and we had the place to ourselves. Toilet and shower area were quite outdated but perfectly functional, bedroom was huge and very comfortable bed. Room was serviced daily and always something surprising left every day for us to enjoy. Staff very friendly and although not always around this was not a problem. Would definitely return to this lovely hotel and Rhodes town itself is a joy to explore.
