• Sandra (9/5): Beautyful hotel in a hidden gem of a location - Loved the ambience. The staff were super friendly and Caoimhe in the restaurant for breakfast was super HELPFUL and attentive to all our needs! Breakfast buffet is too far away from the seating area and so our food was mostly COLD by the time we ate it (plus the front door of hotel was wide open and the breakfast area was cold)!!!

Food was delicious we had steak on the stone which was Devine. The staff are so friendly and attentive. We will be back. Nothing

• Patricia (7/5): We had a pleasant stay but more work needed to bring up the standard - Location, staff, presentation of the grounds, forest walk No lift. The bedrooms and bathrooms were quite small and a bit dated. The tables in the Bistro Bar where we ate were too close together. Could have been more food on the plates especially the duck spring roll starter and main course hake. The presentation of the breakfast was poor. Home made brown bread maybe and definitely a better yogurt needed.

• Ciara (7/5): Lovely location - Location was lovely, nice view of the lake and beautiful grounds around the hotel. Staff were friendly. Food was decent and well priced. Bed was comfy For a 4 star the room it was a little lacking, the bathroom in particular had multiple holes where towel racks etc had been moved. Hole on the wall near the radiator and a broken curtain holder and some cobwebs on the walls.

• Garry (10/5): Highly recommmended! - We loved everything! Beautiful property, amazing staff, food was lovely. Room was great too. No lift....and no staff to help lug two 23KG (50lb) bags up the stairs to our room. I understand there'd be a massive cost to installing a lift, but there should be a staff member to help with suitcases to and from the room. We would tip them!! We are physically capable, but what about folks who aren't....?

• Chloe (10/5): Fabulous from start to finish! - The Christmas decor is fabulous. The fairy garden is such a wonderful touch for children. Comfiest bed I’ve had in a hotel in a long time! Every staff member we encountered greeted us with a smile and the friendliest manner. Escorted to our room by a lovely man! Balloons given to our child by waiting staff! Delicious dinner and breakfast! Will most definitely be back again!

Lovely short forest walk Only able to sit in dining room for everything. Breakfast lunch and dinner and even if you just wanted to sit down for a drink. Not allowed in bar or the two drawing rooms which were lovely and would have been nice to sit and relax in. Especially with no pool or spa. There was 6 arm chairs in lobby but in front of a fake fire. The other rooms were more private and had lovely fireplace but were being used for staff for meetings.

Sehr unangenehme Situation und mussten Zimmer wechseln.

Awesome staff, so helpful with helping to sort out bus travel for my daughter who was joining us from Dublin airport late, & they arranged a local taxi to collect her from bus stop. We were given an amazing room with a view. Delicious steak for dinner,cooked on a hot stone at table. Great bar staff, great breakfast. Couldn't have hoped for more. Thank you.
