• Ivan (1/5): Schimmelgeruch, schwarz verfärbte Matratze, zuerst wurde gesagt, dass ich das Geld zurück bekomme, dies erstellte sich j - Das Hotelzimmer war in einem absolut unzumutbaren Zustand. Bereits beim Betreten des Zimmers war starker Schimmelgeruch wahrnehmbar. Die Matratze war schwarz verfärbt und offensichtlich verschmutzt bzw. von Schimmel betroffen. Zusätzlich ließ sich die Zimmertüre nicht einmal richtig schließen, wodurch wir uns auch nicht sicher gefühlt haben. Wir hielten uns nur wenige Minuten im Zimmer auf und meldeten die Probleme sofort an der Rezeption. Vor Ort konnte aufgrund sprachlicher Probleme keine vernünftige Lösung angeboten werden. Die vorgeschlagene Alternative außerhalb war ebenfalls keine akzeptable Option, weshalb wir das Hotel wieder verlassen mussten und uns kurzfristig eine andere Unterkunft suchen mussten. Besonders enttäuschend war der Umgang danach. Über WhatsApp wurde uns zunächst zugesichert, dass sämtliche Kosten innerhalb von 10–15 Tagen rückerstattet werden. Danach wurden wir jedoch wochenlang vertröstet und mittlerweile wurde die Rückerstattung komplett verweigert. Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Die Zimmer entsprachen in keiner Weise den Erwartungen oder den Angaben bei der Buchung. Ich kann dieses Hotel daher nicht empfehlen.

• Ana (10/5): - Lo cómodo y limpio de las habitaciones el sr de la recepción que nos recibió muy amable y nos dió todas las indicaciones para poder ir a los otros hoteles de la cadena eso es un muy buen pluss que compensa la ubicación a mi parecer. Que los últimos días no tuvieran la opción de desayuno que uno quería y la actitud de la chica que atendió en el desayuno los últimos 2 días, atendía de mala manera y no solo lo notamos nosotras sino también otros pasajeros que coincidíamos en el desayuno

Next door neighbor played loud music for hours and he didn't care how loud or if it annoyed others, one evening we stayed in and couldn't hear the film we were watching.... We felt sorry for the apartments because we all had to put up with the noise nearly every night.

• Mayra (3/5): NO NAY RELACION PRECIO - CALIDAD - El personal, todos muy atentos y muy prestos al momento que solicitabamos algo. No nos podemos quejar de los empleados, se portaron super bien.. El problema fue en las instalaciones del hotel, dado que, desde que llegamos hubo una fuga de agua constante que salia del tanque elevado del hotel, esta fuga de agua hacia que permanentemente estuviera mojado el pasillo y la escalera que nos tocaba transitar todos los días, teníamos que bajar con mucho cuidado para no caernos o resbalar. Por otro lado, el segundo que estábamos en el hotel, en la mañana reporte una fuga de agua en el baño, cuando regresamos en la tarde no dijeron que la habían solucionado. El día jueves cuando nos levantamos nos percatamos que el piso de la habítacion estaba húmedo pero no le dimos importancia hasta que regresamos ese mismo día en la tarde y había agua por todo el piso de la habitacion. El personal del hotel nos coloco toallas en el piso para ayudarnos pero el piso continuo mojado y nunca supimos de donde salia este daño. Mi maleta que esta en el suelo se mojo toda y algunas pertenencias tambien. Solo funcionaba una lampara de cuatro lámparas que tiene la habitación- No volvería a este Hotel hasta que arreglen la infraestructura del mismo. El precio del hotel muy alto, para la calidad baja que tienen en cuanto a hotel.

El sol sale justo al frente de la habitación vimos un amanecer precioso Aunque la gente en los comentarios se queja de que no hay acceso a la playa para bañarse, y hay barquitos, nos pareció maravilloso, eso le da tranquilidad y las vistas son espectaculares. En términos generales al hotel le hace falta una remodelación así sería un 10/10.

• Mayo81 (9/5): Muy Bien! - La ubicación de nuestra habitación excepcional, justo al frente de la playa, la chica que sirve el desayuno super amable. Buen desayuno. El convenio que tienen con el otro hotel de la zona para ir a hacer uso de la playa. Todo ok. Nuestros amigos no alcanzaron habitación que daba a la playa sino a la carretera y se cambiaron al otro hotel porque al parecer las habitaciones que dan a la carretera tienen mucho ruido.

• Cristiana (10/5): Più di quanto ti immagini - Dal‘esterno non fa una grande impressione, però questo hotel offre più di quanto ci si aspetti. La suite vista mare è bellissima, ampia, funzionale e silenziosa. Acqua calda, aria condizionata ottima, cassetta di sicurezza, bel balcone, vista impagabile e spiaggetta non balneabile però pulita e suggestiva. La colazione servita in una veranda finestrata sul mare e’ la MIGLIORE che io abbia trovato in Colombia. E soprattutto l’accesso gratuito al migliore stabilimento balneare dell’isola, con lettini, musica e sabbia bianchissima. Per chi lo desidera, pure un intrattenimento serale in un hotel gemellato del centro. Cosa si può chiedere di più?? Value for money! Immagino che le stanze su strada non offrano la stessa pace e ovviamente non vedano il mare, dunque valutate la differenza di prezzo e se potete prendere quella con vista non ve ne pentirete

• Jonas (8/5): Opção longe do centro mais interessante. - Quarto que fiquei, 108, no terreo com vista para o mar, foi formidável... experiência única. Fato do hotel contar com a parceiria de outros hoteis, como o Reina del Mar, tornou a experiência ainda melhor, pois onde fica o hotel, não tem uma praia ampla, e bem simples, ninguém fica ali pegando sol... o lugar mais próximo é no Reina del Mar, hotel parceiro, que fica numa ampla faixa de area, fica a 5min andando a pé. Café da manhã comporta poucas pessoas, seria interessante que hovesse um agendamento, para organizar melhor. Havia um vizinho na lateral do hotel com música extremamente alta... apartamentos 106/107 devem ter tido muito incomodo.

A moça que nos serviu todos os dias um amor de pessoa, super simpática e prestativa, o Pablo que nos recebeu também super legal e prestativo ! A localização é boa porém para ir ao centro é a praia precisa de uma moto/mule/táxi ou ônibus. Os quartos são ótimos, ar condicionado chuveiro com água quente cama confortável. Só a vizinhança que é bem barulhenta, música alta, festa… mais nada diferente do Centro. Valeu muito a pena ter nos hospedado, foi ótimo! Somente dos barulhos, som alto festas até altas horas, mais como não era no hotel, acredito que não tenha algo que possa ser feito.

• Juan Francisco (2/5): Trapped in Our Room and Tricked by the Photos - To be perfectly fair, the housekeeping staff was lovely and clearly doing their best under challenging circumstances. The rooms, although not at all what we reserved, were clean enough. I also appreciate that someone, at some point in history, may have believed there was a beach here the photographs look wonderful in that sense. I feel it’s my responsibility to warn future guests: within minutes of arrival the doorknob of our room fell off, leaving us literally trapped inside, and the front desk’s reaction was about as sympathetic as an airport loudspeaker. After a long wait, we were moved to a downgraded room nothing like what we booked, and when we asked for any real compensation, we were offered a buffet meal in another hotel — which felt more like a suggestion to go elsewhere entirely. The manager, Sandra, showed no interest in helping whatsoever, and the “beach” shown in the photos is essentially imaginary unless one enjoys hiking to find sand. The regular staff tries, but leadership clearly couldn’t care less; I strongly suggest looking elsewhere unless you enjoy being locked in your room before being downgraded.

Es hermoso - No solamente tiene una vista a su playa trasera espectacular sino que además el desayuno que dan es espectacular La Paz que se siente con el solo ruido del Mar La paciencia y como ayudan y están dispuestos los que trabajan ahí es súper . Recomiendo 100% Poca privacidad afuera en la playa están hombres trabajando y no pude descansar al llegar por el ruido a reparaciones y sus conversaciones pero solo fue un rato

L’odeur d’égout dans la chambre et l’abattant des toilettes qui ne tiens pas en position ouverte, la lumière extérieure qui est allumée toute la nuit sans volet suffisamment occultant.

• Simone (5/5): Delusione. Prenotare assolutamente in centro. - La camera era di buone dimensioni, bello il balcone sul mare. Natalia all'accoglienza. La struttura è vecchia, quasi fatiscente. Dalle foto pare completamente diversa, recente. Ad accoglierci c'è stata Natalia, super simpatica e sorridente, ma dopo di lei la tristezza più assoluta. La doccia faceva pena, getto d acqua da carcere, inoltre presentava la pendenza sbagliata, pertanto l'acqua è rimasta sul fondo per tutti e 3 i giorni perché non defluiva, alghe e sabbia comprese. Abbiamo trovato capelli in camera non nostri, gli asciugamani presentavano quasi sempre macchie di sporco, si vedeva che erano stati lavati, ma male. Colazione scarsa, con una sola opzione, il resto a pagamento. La spiaggia inutilizzabile per la quantità di alghe presenti, oltre ad un "bellissimo" relitto di un barcone proprio a 3 metri dalla riva. L albergo dava la possibilità di andare in tutta la catena "Dorado ". Siamo stati al Reina del Mar, dove con tanto di delusione siamo stati mangiati vivi da pulci di mare. La struttura e personale non sono stati du aiuto, hanno solo ammesso il problema.

The ability to go to the sister hotels is great¡ One on Rocky Cay beach which is a short walk and the best beach on the island Bed was comfy and the room is large Couldn't go in the water at the hotel and lack of a beach

• David (5/5): Not happy - The review from the terrace out to sea I felt cheated. The publicity photograph showing the beach is nothing like reality. The beach is non existent and what little there is it is dirty, the surrounding properties are run down or derelict. I originally booked for seven nights but moved to a different hotel after three. The mini bar had two cans of soft drinks. No drinking water.

The photos of the front were not what you find at the place, some staff really unaccommodating to English speakers. Head up to anyone staying near the beach, every restaurant/bar (except the sister hotel) closes at about 6pm which was really annoying. Really loud music playing most of the evening a few doors down, at least until 10pm each night

• Kai (5/5): Pablo, the housekeeping and cooking staff, were awesome. The super quiet girl is cool. However, the - Quiet and intimate , guests were cool. One staff member was particularly nationalistic. Spanish is not my first language. I did not expect the staff member to speak English. However, I did expect a willingness to accommodate a non-native speaker. I always approached the staff member with my translation application. The staff member refused to use it. She would respond in Spanish only, despite several responses of 'No entiendo." Issues that I saw get resolved between this staff member and native Spanish speakers differed greatly than my own interactions.For instance, I broke my bracelet indicating I was a hotel guest. I saw those same staff member replace Spanish-speaking guests' bracelets immediately. However, when ot happened to me, it took approximately 40 minutes to resolve, and only because a guest who spoke English and Spanish intervened. I think San Luis Place is an excellent place for native speakers. For English speakers, specifically Americans, I would stay away. The one nationalistic staff member ruins the rating. Including her, I would give San Luis Place, 0.5/5 stars. Excluding my interactions with her, I would give 4.5/5. The one staff member was very anti-English, as seems to be the norm for the Colombian attitude towards the native English population they have colonized since 1970. Of you are a native Spanish speaker, San Luis Place is for you. If you speak English, and specifically if you are American, stay somewhere else that is more friendly to foreigners, because San Luis Place is not for you. With all of that said, I will say, despite the staff, the other guests were absolutely lovely. They were mostly from Chile and Argentina, and some of them have become dear friends. The guests were super cool. The staff, except for one, were too; however, that one staff member is enough reasons for Americans to take their business elsewhere.
