The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the attention to detail was great. Very comfortable bed and bedding and good bathroom with good powerful hot shower. - Terry (8/5): Very good - The staff at the Exotic House are extremely friendly and helpful with anything guests require to make their stay as comfortable and satisfying as possible. Can't say enough good things about them, they made the stay very comfortable. The rooms were all large and clean. The showers had hot water with good pressure. Only slight negative was that the towels in one of the 3 rooms were a bit dirty, however I'm sure the staff would have happily changed them if we'd asked but we had our own with us anyway.

- Tithi (10/5): Would love to visit them again - This hotel is run by a lovely family Sunil and Shreeti and is definitely the best place in Kathmandu if you love a nice quieter place to stay but still want to live nearby the center point. This place is literally 600m away from bustling Thamel Marg. The owners are very helpful and generous, never felt like I'm staying in a hotel. They helped me to get KTM to PKR bus ticket and tips for roaming around using public transport. Even Sunil dropped me off at the bus stop to catch the bus for Pokhara in the very early morning. Very safe, clean room with a comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom, and also had a nice big balcony to my surprise.

- Elzbieta (10/5): - Lovely place to stay. The hotel is run by a nice, friendly family that made us feel at home. Late check in, leaving ur luggage while we were trekking - nothing was a problem. Very clean place, big room with large, exceptionaly comfy beds - hands down one of the best I have ever slept in. Walking distance to Thamel, shops and cafes nearby. Definitely a place I want to stay again.
- Lorna (10/5): Perfect stay in KTM - We had two very comfortable rooms for 3 nights, around a 10 minute walk to the heart of Thamel. The owners were very flexible when our plans changed and we asked to stay for 2 more nights. The rooms were very comfortable, recently refurbished with clean ensuites and good wifi. Each morning the owners provided a great freshly made breakfast of tea, coffee, eggs, toast and cake. The family were lovely and very hospitable. We couldn’t have asked for anymore.
