• Thomas (9/5): Als Homebase für ein paar Tage, Maskat und Matrah sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man auf Luxus wenig Wert legt. Preis-Leistung - Super nettes, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal; günstig gelegen - man findet praktisch immer in den Parkplatz, direkt vorm Haus oder im Hinterhof; die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht - abgesehen vielleicht von Fliegengittern vor den Fenstern; und das indische Restaurant unten im Haus ist wirklich gut. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr einfach, teilweise etwas abgewohnt. Abends störte das Geräusch der Abluftanlage des Restaurants unten im Haus.

• Katarzyna (10/5): - Podróżowaliśmy z małym dzieckiem. Pokój jest świetnie do tego przygotowany. Bardzo dobrze wyposażona kuchnia w której można przygotować posiłki dla dziecka. Czyste pokoje, fantastyczny personel. W hotelu jest restauracja serwująca pyszne i tanie indyjskie jedzenie. Nie ma problemu z miejscem parkingowym.

• Yamina (4/5): Le prix à payer n'est pas celui affiché - Appartement calme car située au 3ème étage, dans le bâtiment de l'autre coté de la cour, en retrait de la grande route. Heureusement car il y avait une fête au restaurant et les enfants jouaient dans les couloirs du bâtiment. Accès rapide en taxi ou en bus au souk, à la corniche. A 5mn à pied du centre commercial Lulu où il y a des bureaux de change. L'appartement est grand et plutôt confortable. Le personnel est réactif, disponible et agréable. La transparence tarifaire : j'ai eu un tarif Genius, mais l'hôtel à ajouter 8% prétextant que c'était la commission Booking alors qu'il s'agit d'une taxe de 8% maximum pour sous-occupation des chambres. C'est la seule fois en Oman que je devais payer plus que le prix annoncé. Ca ne devrait pas être autorisé, question de confiance. C'est ce qui explique la note. Sécurité : la plaque de cuisson est reliée à une bouteille de gaz !

More than enough room. Very noisy by a noisy road. If you live in a city this won't bother you. If you come from the quiet country - then this affects sleep if you don't have earplugs. Single pane windows - normal for Oman.

• Lynn (8/5): Good Value for Price - Excellent desk staff!!! Amazing food at Indian restaurant attached to hotel. The price was reasonable. Was given apartment but I would have preferred room. Clean everything. Five minute, cheap taxi to Muttrah. Good AC/fans, comfortable bed. All was good! It is an old building. I don’t know, as a solo female, I was a little uncomfortable. If I had travel mate, it would have been excellent room for the price. No place to walk.
• Yi Jun (8/5): Value for money, but comes with a few caveats. - The staff were exceptional and the location was very accessible. The value of the hotel is very very worth it, but there are a few considerations to take note of because there were a few minor inconveniences that cropped up during our stay. 1) our bathroom water pressure had some issues. so we rented a 2 bedroom apartment that comes with 2 baths, but one bath was significantly more comfortable than the other. the smaller bath also ended up having some water pressure issues, which the staff promptly helped to fix. but this was inconvenient at times. 2) there was also another time when the flushing also had issues because the water was cut off during the afternoon, so small things like this are annoying even though they got fixed in the end. 3) the hotel is near a highway so that can be quite noisy if you're a sensitive sleeper.

Staff was really helpful, they even waited for us personally very early in the morning and greeted us. Good location (near the Old Town), everything else was easy to reach by taxi.

Spacious apartment with fan and AC, with living room, one bedroom and with an equipped kitchen. Also suitable for longer stays and remote work. Rooms are cleaned regularly and upon request. Great Keralan restaurant downstairs! Grocery shop, laundry service and several other restaurants and coffee shops available nearby. Helpful and friendly staff. The bathroom might need some refurbishment. The shower area should be more isolated with a panel or curtain.

• Roberto (9/5): Good place to stay and relax - Being in main road coming in, into Muscat, the staff were very nice, helpful they all try to make you feel welcome, the gentleman in the main desk as always attentive It's a little ways from almost everything, but if you have a car you can go anywhere easy from here and they have parking space which free of charge
• MAI (10/5): - 周辺に色々なレストランがあり、食事には困らず、遅くまでやっているスーパーも隣にあります。朝も朝食を取るには色々なオプションが周辺にあります。ケララ料理がとても美味しく、滞在中毎日足を伸ばしていました。タクシーを呼ぶのも簡単な立地です、レンタカーでしたら手前は駐車場なので簡単にパーキングできます。 マトラ地区まで車で５分から１０分くらいでタクシーで行けました。結局バスは利用しませんでしたが、バス停もすぐ隣にありました。部屋はとても広く必要最低限のものが揃っており、とても快適に過ごせました。フロントはとても感じが良く対応して頂けました。コスパ良しのとても良い宿だと思います。

• Kathryn (8/5): - Very spacious apartment with strong Internet. I had to work and the WiFi was strong enough for video calls which was great. Good parking and also easy for the taxi to pick up and drop off. I came in the middle of the night and they were able to welcome me. I did book two nights to ensure I had a room though they said if there was availability they would let me check in early. I didn’t want to be left without a place to sleep at 4 am! Little far from attractions but I think this is true of all of Muscat. Plus you don’t really walk in Oman

Está ubicado en una zona conveniente para visitar el zoco y la corniche ya que la parada de bus está delante del hotel. Andando se tarda una media hora. El precio de este hotel está muy bien considerando los estándares del país Mucho ruido de un aparato externo, creo que era un extractor del restaurante, hasta medianoche. Puede afectar al descanso de algunos viajeros
• Terry (5/5): It’s ok but I’d try something different next time. - It was cheap accommodation, and so expectations are low. Lots of things in the room didn’t work well including lights and aircon was very noisy so had to leave it off at night and couldn’t adjust the temperature. Some Reception staff were difficult to communicate with even for basic things.

• Jan (10/5): Loved it! Thanks! - Incredibly helpful personnel, great location to visit old town (bus stop in front), malls in walking distance, easy parking. Very spacy and well equipped room. There is a great indian restaurant, in the lowest floor, which means there are smells from the kitchen in the corridors. I personnaly took this as plus, since I love indian food, but it may be unbearable to someone.

• Janet (9/5): Handy spot along bus route to Mutrah - Staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful, as let me check into my room early in the morning, and also gave me additional late check out. Bed was comfy. Good size apartment Great A/C! Close to bus, supermarket and excellent Cochin restaurant with best mango smoothie! Would have been good to have had more than 1 English TV station. A couple of mugs in the kitchen would have been useful. A shower screen in the bathroom would prevent the floor getting wet whilst showing. A hair dryer might be an added bonus.

• saurabh (8/5): Have a great stay with family at Al Shorouq - The hotel apartment is ideal for family of 4-5 on a budget. The rooms are large and it has more of an apartment feel vs a hotel. Service is decent though housekeeping is alternate days. Food options are excellent especially Indian restaurants in 2 minute walking distance (Cochin restaurant). The location enables easy 10 minute access to Mutrah souq and many attractions of Muscat.
• Adam (9/5): A nice experience for the family. - A very nice hotel for our family of five with three kids. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant attached to the hotel is amazing quality Indian food. We were even able to arrange Indian breakfast brought to our rooms in the morning. The room itself was very clean, though the rooms, particularly the bathrooms, are a bit dated. The location is within a 5-8 minute cab ride to the old part of Muscat. We would definitely stay again.

• Rdb5 (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is perfect! The apartment was massive with a nice kitchen, large bathroom and very comfy beds. There is also private parking which is very handy and the staff are lovely. Great value for money and close to Muttrah corniche and a large and fantastic Lulu hypermarket. The only suggestion I have is to add a curtain to the shower to avoid the WC and bathroom floor getting wet. Nothing else to add!

• Krzysztof (10/5): Excellent place to relax in the desert - Excellent location. Cottage well equipped and clean. Meals good and plentiful. Kind owner. If you don't feel too confident in driving on the sand then ask someone to come and drive for you. Getting there is quite challenging and in my opinion a regular SUV may be too weak (which doesn't mean you won't get there - it will just be difficult).
• Imène (9/5): Superb - The host was very nice and welcoming. They upgraded us to a bigger room since it was available, which was amazing. It's not luxurious but it's clean and confortable, fully equipped and not very expensive. The only thing missing was a shower curtain!
