- Sarah (8/5): Very basic for the budget - The location is great with cheap buses into town every 15min and markets with food close by. Was also good to have a pool on the roof to cool off in the middle of the day when no one else was there. Bottled water and coffee sachets are provided and its very useful to have a fridge in the room, but there is no microwave. I also liked the ability to do laundry there and it was easy to purchase the coupons needed from the reception desk. I have stayed here twice in the last few years and was expecting it to have had a little renovation (at least a coat of paint) in the last 4 years. It is looking pretty run down in the rooms now, and needs the curtains fixed etc. Small jobs that make a lot of difference. There are other accommodations nearby that are cheaper and now in better condition.

- Friederike (7/5): Bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten alles O.K - Sehr geräumiges grosses Apartment, sauber und gepflegt. Es fehlen lediglich ein paar Küchenutensillien. Ansonste ist es für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht schlecht. Die Internetverbindung war äusserst schlecht. Ich musste extra einen Router kaufen , um eine dauerhafte Verbindung herzustellen.

No desk or table that was at a comfortable height to eat or work at. The building is old and the finishes inside the room very poor and falling apart. Sound insulation between rooms very poor. Noisy, difficult to get some sleep in such an environment. Had to pay a refundable deposit of 100Ringit.

Initially we booked to stay for 11 days we check out the very next day, we too afraid to shower because dirty bathroom. Not recommend to stay in this hotel is very disappointing experience. First I dnt like how the Chinese receptionist (old lady) treated me upon check in .. very rude n she was not even willing to talk nicely nor smile throughout the check in process .. not the first time tho last year I was there on 2nd n 3rd Jan same incident happened... Called n ask fr extra pillows, sugar n also blanket she said they dnt have any n of course I was willing to pay fr those extra stuffs bt she said no n hanged up the call .. the room was not really clean , bathroom smells fishy , the bedsheets were super dirty ... not very recommended .. its fine fr maybe 1 night stay bt if more than tat I think probably will never book here again .. very bad .. pls ask the receptionist to change her attitude , the way she talked to me was like she doesn't want to layan me ..

For courtesy of guests there is not even a welcoming body language by front office and only 1 access card given without a proper envelope with room number. The whole building looks worn down together with it's aging furniture. Beds were full of dust mites and no proper toiletries; of course the towels are dirty with stains. Only compliment is the location, as Penangite I booked this hotel as left no choice for next days event for my kid nearby. As hotelier in Penang hope we run our business with some pride. Message is for improvement purpose.

We left straight after seeing the room, booking alternative accommodation in Georgetown. The staff had no idea and they didn’t have our booking. Do NOT stay here! RCI should remove this “hotel” from its list so other members won’t fall into the same trap and book this substandard dump!

- 997intans (8/5): Nice vacation - The value of money. This apartment also has a pool, self-laundry area, and lobby. Friendly staff and good communication. This is my second stay at these apartments. Nice view and we can see the beach 100%. NICE TO STAY HERE WITH YOUR LOVELY FAMILY.
- Danny_Carol_G (6/5): Only Just Acceptable - Upon arrival we were surprised just seeing the building. This is not a Resort, just Unit apartments. They only accept cash for the security deposit and do not take credit cards. We then had to walk 1klm to a bank to get cash so that we could get access to our apartment. Receptionist did not speak English either and we had to use translation app. The apartment is basic and so is the kitchen - don't expect anything modern, but oi is satisfactory. Approximately one Kilometre to shops. Not close to Georgetown. You do need transport , but Grab (taxi) is cheap.

- 8Numbers (6/5): Accept 3star and Rooftop Pool Amazing - The rooms were a tad under maintained and air conditioner leaked badly(Rm401), they moved me to the room next door (402) and sadly a day later it did the same .... maintenance is not good. Rooms were really cla=ean when I went into them, just the maintenance, paintwork, plug sockets broken etc. made it feel a bit underwhelming. However room staff were extremely helpful and even with language difficulties all staff were very nice and helpful. Views from Rm were stunning and roof top pool extremely fun to swim in and admire amazing view of bay.

I was even in a room with a bat that had clearly been hiding the first couple of days, couldn’t continue to sleep in such a room after seeing a bat fly around my head while in bed. Reception desk is rude and nonchalant. Pipes make a loud noise if you don’t triple check to shut the taps tightly even though water has stopped upon initial inspection.
