- Ian (10/5): - Very easygoing and relaxed.
Free breakfast.
If you're not Jewish you're got to get used to the kosher ways
- Mario Naim (1/5): Awful and old - Location, breakfast This place feels like a time capsule that was sealed up in the 1970s and forgotten. It’s beyond needing a renovation; it’s practically a relic that should have been gutted decades ago. The bedding is so ancient it’s turned a dusty brown, and the carpets look like they’ve seen better centuries. Even the elevator doors seem to be struggling with old age, barely managing to creak open. You’re essentially paying modern prices for an antique experience, and I definitely won’t be making that mistake again.

😊 Spokojna i bezpieczna okolica.
- Margita (9/5): - •Duży rozmiar pokoju i łóżek (jedynki w rozmiarze standardowych dwójek).
•Czystość pomieszczeń.
•Znakomity, uprzejmy, profesjonalny personel: recepcja, restauracja, pokojowe. •Mini bufet i lodówka w pokoju: ekspres do gorących napoi.
•Kosmetyki w łazience, czystość i ilość ręczników.

- xxx (7/5): A comfortable traditional hotel - The location of the hotel seemed very safe.
The room was very comfortable and was a good size, with twin beds (as requested). Staff at the hotel were friendly, and the general feeling of the hotel was that it was traditional and personal - not corporate. Breakfast was a disappointment. The choice was limited and the dining experience wasn't very welcoming.
We hadn't realised that facilities on Saturday were going to be so limited - in respect to the religious customs of the area -and as tourists, felt a little as though we were intruding.
- Sanford (10/5): Enjoyable, great, would stay again -
- Guest (8/5): great experience - excellent breakfast the room furniture is 30 years old needs to be upgraded. The carpet going down the stairs from the entrance to the breakfast area needs to be replaced Asap

- John (10/5): - Great neighborhood
- Christina (10/5): - Really nice hotel, only minus was bad WiFi connection
Są m. in. warzywa, jajecznica, jajka sadzone, wybór pieczywa).
Blisko metra (do linii D idzie się niecałe 10 minut piechotą, dojazd do dolnej części Manhattanu zajmuje niecałe 45 minut).
Wygodne, szerokie łóżka.
Mogłem korzystać z pokoju aż do godziny 15 w dzień wyjazdu.
- Bennie (7/5): - The location. The hotel was beautiful and so was the room. The neighborhood was very vibrant. If you're not prepared for Shabbat, it will inconvenience you. Luckily I was.
- Dominique (4/5): -
- Marilyn (1/5): Not good I was overcharged - The area The food the carpet in the room 702 was filthy I had to ask for a new room 705 that was clean they charged me for a roll a bed that I never received I would like that portion of my money refunded for the bed that I never received
- tfilinski (10/5): -
- Rachid (7/5): - Le prix un peu chère N/a
- lilly (6/5): -
- Grace (6/5): Not what I expected… not fit tourists - Large sized room. Good water pressure. Nice having a small wetbar Location was bizarre. Located in the center of a religious centric neighborhood with every store affiliated - religiously. Food was limited. No stores open on Saturday (none). I wish it was pointed out as we did not fit in whatsoever. Bedding was weird… only a duvet, no top sheet… pillows were in shams… no pillowcase. Fortunately, had my own. Inclusive breakfast didn’t apply for Saturday. Cereal, cake, instant coffee and some, tangerine and nectarine only… staff was excellent… And they made us feel welcome… But the neighborhood was not…
- Deena (8/5): Nice place, friendly people! - Convenient, comfy beds and nice people. The breakfast was lacking any fruit or yogurt…. Also some muffins would have been nice. Basically it was eggs and toast.
- Avi (10/5): -
- michael (8/5): -
- Reviral (8/5): -
- edward (10/5): -
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional - Extremely helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Great location.
- Sandy (9/5): Superb -
- Adams (4/5): Disappointing - Inexpensive No cable
In a predominantly Jewish neighborhood, people of color don’t feel too welcomed in the area at all.
- Deena (10/5): Very nice place to stay, and would highly recommend!! - Very clean, nicely decorated, comfy rooms and beds, and a nice breakfast. Everyone there was SO friendly. Walking distance from restaurants and grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. Nothing!
- Rachelle (10/5): A step back in time to a really friendly and safe hotel I felt I’d come home - The moment I walked through the door I felt safe which is a great feeding for a woman on their own staying in a city.
This is a Jewish hotel and caters for a kosher diet. It isn’t modern but you feel like you’re stepping back in time to slightly dated grandparents. This is not a hotel for people who want modern sleek but the beds are really comfortable. The staff are really helpful. There is a TV. On the downside because I was high up the Wi-Fi wasn’t as strong and there weren’t quite enough plug-in points near the bed but it really doesn’t matter.
It was genuinely helpful Staff there is a tin coffee room open 24 hours a day. Breakfast is served between 730 and 10 in the lower lobby. They have a local car service that can take you to the airport. It’s ideally suited for a Jewish traveller who wants to be Near synagogues kosher shops, et cetera. That’s hardly anything I didn’t like. They didn’t have non-dairy or plant milk available in the coffee room or no dairy creamer upstairs with the machine.
I would’ve preferred a kettle in the room rather than a coffee machine but if I’d asked, I’m sure they would’ve found me one. Maybe some USB ports might be useful however I would guess most people stay here don’t have those needs
- Aharon (8/5): OK - help with keeping shabat The room was in a high floor and I am too old to climb stairs.
I think it is too expensive
- Rosenbaum (8/5): Very convenient and pleasant - Location was excellent , beds very comfortable nice clean bathroom
- Shmuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacqueline (7/5): Good -
- Shmuel (1/5): Bad - They give minimum and take maximum
Don't use this hotel
Really disgusting service
- Zvi (9/5): Superb - We liked everything. Breakfasts are great, but on Saturday they could have made them more varied, even considering that it was Shabbat.
- Alexei (8/5): Nice place to stay - The personnel was very friendly and helpful, beyond expectations. Transportation was very convenient to the airports and NY downtown. Breakfast was quite poor (kosher): no meats, no fruits. Floor in the room was heavily used and dirty.
- Neil (9/5): very good stay. - breakfast was very good
- Richard (6/5): Be aware that the hotel is run by orthodox Jewish people. Therefore, there are many restrictions. - It lacks diversity for those who are not Jewish, or who suffer from caeliacy. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. It takes 5 minutes to walk to 50th subway station. There the railway staff are great. The shopping street next to the hotel offers many food stores, pizza and Mexican foods. Prices everywhere are very high. It took us a couple of days to adapt to the Jewish environment and after that everything was good; the area is indeed calm and safe. The hotel in itself is a little dated but has its charm. Overall? We had a pleasant stay. The hotel is not worth the price paid. The elevator was an issue with its erratic functioning and having to walk up and down six flights of stairs. I am 65 with arthritic hips and lower back …
- Edgar (5/5): A mess - Building was Ok Location is scary
- Anna (9/5): Good place to rest after long day in NYC - Very nice little hotel, comfortable and clean, safe area, located near tube station and buses, friendly and helpful staff, small breakfast but enough.Such a wonderful experience to live for a while close to jewish community.
- poshutery (10/5): Shomer Shabbos and shuls and shopping - Great for Shomer Shabbes. Hadlokas neros in the lobby. They provide. Great shopping area and shuls. Recommend. Presidentia lsuite has a jacuzi, ask if still working but should be working. Ask for room with view to verazanno. Kosher dining and judaica nearby
- Qamar (8/5): Very good -
- Ariel (8/5): Very good -
- Kisuk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (9/5): Superb -
- Jeffrey (8/5): Very good -
- Lutena (1/5): nothing - I don’t like anything more clean customer service they very racist they don’t welcome people the first and last time
- Peter (8/5): I'd give it a thumbs up rating. -
- Arsen (8/5): Very good - Close to subway, friendly staff, good breakfast Nearly everything was ok
- Natasha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fernandez (8/5): Very well located. Overall is good. - I felt confortable but the room needed to be better clean. I was surprise for the breakfast because it was really complete with healthy options. In general, I liked it. The room wasn't very clean. They need to pay attention to it. Also, people sometimes looked at you weird and that can make you feel unconfortable. I think we need to respect everyone in all aspect.
- Anastasiia (10/5): Great breakfast, nice people - Everyone was very nice and breakfast was great. N/A
- Yosef (10/5): Exceptional - Great and clean place!
- Alan (5/5): Passable - Shabby furniture. Not very clean
- Itamar (8/5): Very good -
- Emanuel (7/5): Good -
- Yossi (9/5): Superb -
- Mukherjee (1/5): Racist. Might be fine for Orthodox Jews. If you're not, they hate you already. - Location convenient to Maimonides Hospital Reception treated us with visible disdain. When we left one night early, I explained that our infant daughter had died in the hospital and therefore the need no longer existed. "Hmmm, OK," she said with obvious apathy. As non-orthodox Jews, we were clearly two-legged cockroaches to her.
- Blaine (10/5): Excellent - The staff was very friendly and even though we weren’t Jewish we felt very safe in the neighborhood. Easy walk to the subway and even felt safe at night coming back at around 1 am from a Broadway show. Also, a neat neighborhood itself to explore. Would stay here again
- David (8/5): Worked for us - Clean room, nice breakfast, pleasant staff. 5 minute walk to D train station which will take you directly into NYC. Felt perfectly safe walking around neighborhood at any time. Pricey like the rest of NYC area hotels. No real attractions nearby. Area not very car accessible.
- Amalia (9/5): Internet problems and toxic member of the staff don't allow me to say that I was comfortable. - At the reception a woman and a man very kind. I had a room with a beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge. A member of the staff with a Spanish or Latino accent was very rude. I had big problems with internet, he first ignores the problem then he had a macho attitude with me, aggressively speaking with me.
- Leslie (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- paulakC2693PA (2/5): Awful - This was not an enjoyable experience. My room was very cold as the windows are old & drafty and the curtains have been removed. The bed is clean & comfortable but the carpets throughout the hotel are old & need replaced. The food was awful… cold the 1st morning, the 2nd morning there was lots of egg shell in the eggs. For the rest of my working week I had to eat out because it was inedible which is ridiculous as this hotel is very expensive. The cleaning & breakfast staff were hard working & pleasant but the reception staff were rude & unfriendly. I could not recommend this hotel.
- Leontia (3/5): Poor -
- Adam (2/5): Very poor -
- Julia (7/5): Good -
- Manish (3/5): Very disappointing - Staff were friendly and helpful though. Room was not clean and fresh, carpet was old and dirty, bedspread actually left marks on our luggage fridge not working could not control room temp walls were paper thin could not get a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast was not good.
- Am (7/5): Good -
- Sandra (5/5): Passable - The breakfast was fine, nothing special The hotel looks very old, very expensive for the area and for the installations.
- Roslyn (9/5): Superb - People at the desk were very helpful and friendly - also it helped to have neighborhood shuls and minyan times posted in the lobby! salads and choice of foods at breakfast - you could add pastries, cheeses, smoked fish - just a suggestion
- David (10/5): Great location, very comfortable, great selection of extras. - Everything one needs Nothing
- Donald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yuval (9/5): Superb -
- Carlene (8/5): Our stay was good. Breakfast on Sunday and Monday was excellent. - It was clean and quiet.
- Kaaren (7/5): Overall I had a comfortable stay. I would love to use the hotel on my next visit to NY - The traditional Isreali breakfast was a healthy variety of veggies, potatoes, and protein At no fault to the hotel. The sirens and traffic noise continued through the night making sleeping difficult.
- kibbutznik_9 (8/5): nice haimish hotel - The hotel is haimish but has mod cons such as wifi and even a TV ( hidden on the wardrobe. Breakfast included,, room was comfortable though traffic a bit noisy in evening, If here is such a thing i would ask for a rear facing room.
