• Kate (10/5): Great value and great experience - We had an incredible experience here, best value for money and wish we stayed another couple of nights. Our sea view room was a beautiful spot for sunset and people watching the port. The chairs were a bit rickety but that all added to the experience. The shower head was difficult to work / fix to the wall, and the street noise on a Saturday buzzed on until the early hours of the morning but the sea view, spacious room and crispy white sheets made it all worth it.

• Ewald (9/5): - Super Lage des Hotels, liegt direkt an der Hafenpromenade inmitten des Geschehen. Von den Zimmern (mit Balkonen) aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Hafen von Naxos. Vom Hotel ist alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar: die Altstadt, das Fährterminal, der Busbahnhof, der Stadtstrand etc. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Wasserkocher wäre gut.

The staff is kind enough to let us have late check out. The room is quite small, barely enough space to open our luggage.

• Ian (10/5): Excellent location and helpful staff. - We stayed at the Hotel Coronis on two occasions. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The first time, our suitcases were delayed in transit, and the staff did everythig possible to help us out. The included breakfast is excellent value for money, wit hverything you might need. The Hotel is excellently located in the centre of the harbour, easy for access to the ferries, or the shops/taverners and beaches. Nothing can be done, but the music from nearby bars etc, goes on until the very small hours!

• Emily (8/5): Great location, serviceable if basic hotel - Naxos ended up being our favorite island and this hotel was a big part of why. It’s an easy walk from the port, walking distance to everything, easy to get buses from nearby to anywhere on the island. It was a great price and our balcony looked out on a lively pedestrian area, the port, and a music venue. We loved leaving the balcony doors open or sitting out there and just listening to the music and people having dinner. There was a lot of noise but the lovely kind, not cars and sirens and the like. And the windows are double panes a when we wanted to close it out to sleep, it blocked most of the sound and the fan of the AC was enough white noise to block the rest. This is where I’ll stay the next time I come to Naxos, no question. While we had a lovely stay overall, there are a couple improvements that would make this place perfect. The beds were fairly hard and uncomfortable. Some people may prefer a very stiff mattress (not me) but I think these were just very old from looking at them. There was also a smell of damp in the bathroom which I think is due to there not being any ventilation and the fact that the water pressure is so strong that, if you’re not careful, the shower hose will detach itself from the wall and shoot water all over the bathroom. The shower itself was also quite small and the bathroom overall was very tight. In general it was a bare bones but serviceable hotel and a great price so we just accepted the negatives because I’m sure if they were fixed, this hotel could and would charge a lot more. Like I said, the location was excellent.

Personal vor allem an der Rezeption sehr freundlich Bad war winzig und leider noch Spuren der Gäste die vorher im Zimmer gewohnt haben , ansonsten wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten und leider auch sehr laut bis in die Morgenstunden. Da es sehr windig war, Grillgeruch vom Schornstein des nebenliegenden Restaurants.

St George beach is 5 min walk, public car park is only 2 min away from hotel. Bed was big and room was comfortable. Front desk team were also very helpful. If you want views, choose the view of the Port. Highly recommend. Nothing. All good.

Τρομερά μικρό μπάνιο καθόλου βολικό, καμία άνεση στο μπάνιο ούτε καν σταθερό τηλέφωνο ντουζ, επίσης το νερό μια καυτό μια παγωμένο δεν έχει σταθερή ροή με αποτέλεσμα να βγαίνεις μέσα στα νεύρα , γενικά το μόνο θετικό είναι η τοποθεσία τίποτα άλλο, ακόμα και για 2 άτομα είναι άβολο , αν θες κέντρο Νάξο με μουσικές φωνές περατζάδα κλπ είναι σούπερ , WiFi έτσι και έτσι στον 2ο όροφο οριακά πιάνει …

The room had everything you would need, hairdryer, hanging space etc. My only slightly negative was the bathroom light was just the overhead mirror light so when you’re in the shower it was a little dark and the bed mattress was on the hard side. But, overall it was a great hotel for the price and location. We would stay again.
• Joseph (2/5): - Stay somewhere else. Upon check out the front desk man told us we needed to pay €90 for breakfast. What?! We were never informed that there was a €10/per person charge for breakfast. He said we were told when we checked in (we weren't, only told that "breakfast is from 7:30-10"). There are multiple signs stating when breakfast is, absolutely no signs stating a per person price. The front desk man was unable to find the information about a breakfast charge on my reservation, only stating, "it must be somewhere." While speaking with him he raised his voice saying, "what, you want me to pay for your breakfast?!" He continued to demand that we pay, and the only solution he provided was that he would talk to the employee that never informed us of the charge upon check-in. "I will talk to him." It is not abnormal for a hotel to have free breakfast, there is no sign indicating a charge, and the information was not on our online reservation. The breakfast was honestly terrible, and I would not have participated in it if I knew it was not included. I only ate fruit and a cup of tea each morning, not worth €10! The rooms are outdated with hard beds and small bathrooms. The balcony view and location is good, but that is the only positive. Overall extremely unprofessional behavior upon check-out and due to this and the overall poor quality, I do not recommend.

• Danijel (1/5): Balkong som sitter löst - Läget, och killen i receptionen som checkade in oss, väldigt serviceminded Balkongen vi hade på vårat rum va i ett så dåligt skick att man skulle kunna säga att det inte va säkert att vistas på balkongen, vilket vi inte gjorde heller. Jag meddelade receptionen och visade bild på balkongen vi fått på rum 205, han sa bara oj, jag ska meddela detta till manager , och inget mer efter det. Vi fick inte byta till ett annat rum, ingen som helst respons ifrån hotellet. Sämsta jag någonsin upplevt.

• Susanne (9/5): Seriöses Traditionshotel am Hafen von Naxos - Die Lage des Hotels ist recht einmalig: Das Coronis liegt direkt an der Hafenpromenade inmitten von zahlreichen Bars, Cafés und Tavernen. Von den Zimmern oder Balkonen aus hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf den Hafen von Naxos. Das Hotel ist nur wenige hundert Meter vom Fährterminal entfernt und fußläufig erreichbar. Auch der schöne Stadtstrand Agios Georgios ist vom Hotel aus zu Fuß problemlos erreichbar. Vom Hotel aus lässt sich gut die Altstadt erkunden, auch der Busbahnhof ist nicht weit entfernt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Rezeption des Hotels ist rund um die Uhr besetzt. Das Hotel bietet ein Frühstücksbuffet. Das Hotel befindet sich inmitten mehrerer Bars, die bis in die frühen Morgenstunden Live-Musik anbieten. Glücklicherweise sind die Fenster doppelt verglast.

• Benjamin (5/5): - Great location Comfortable bed Helpful staff Room 201 is a big NoNo - Super smelly and the shower is ridiculous. Only a child can get into it (we checked). We asked for another room as that was not the shower we booked online. The manager gave us a better room (no smelly) with a reasonable size shower.

• John Hall (5/5): Good location but definitely needs updating - The young man on reception was very sociable, smiling and very helpful. The room was very dated and looked like it could have done with a few coats of pain The bed was very very firm and uncomfortable. The glasses at the bed side were dirty at the bottom. The shower area was very small resulting in the small bathroom being 'flooded ' each time the shower was used. The shower curtain was dirty/very grubby at the bottom

• Susanne (9/5): Klassisches Hotel am Hafen - Das Coronis ist ein klassisches Hafen-Hotel: Es liegt nur wenige hundert Meter vom Fährhafen entfernt an der Ufer-Promenade und bietet dem Reisenden die klassischen Annehmlichkeiten der griechischen Hotellerie: geschmackvoll eingerichtete Standardzimmer mit TV, WiFi und Klima-Anlage, ein ordentliches Frühstück (gegen Aufpreis) und einen 24 h-Rezeption. Aufgrund der Nähe zum Meer habe ich (im Juli) keine Klimaanlage gebraucht. Um das Hotel herum sind zahlreiche Cafés. Bäckereien, Supermärkte, Bars und Restaurants. Der Strand Agios Giorgios war fußläufig bequem zu erreichen. Alle anderen Attraktionen in Naxos-Chora konnten bequem zu Fuß erreicht werden. Der Flughafen ist nur 2,6 km entfernt. Naxos ist wohl (nach Mykonos) der Treffpunkt der internationalen Party-Szene. Wer Schlafschwierigkeiten hat, sollte besser woanders absteigen. Das Hotel hat in Doppelglas-Fenster investiert, die den Lärm ganz gut abschirmen.
