- Anna (3/5): Great location, not great facilities - The staff were genuinely very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. When I called to ask if it would be possible to change rooms, I received an immediate response and they really tried their best to improve the situation. Unfortunately there were no other rooms available, but they kindly offered us complimentary breakfast, which was appreciated. The room itself was also very clean, and we were able to leave our bags after check-out, which was very handy since our train was later in the evening. Unfortunately, this was still one of my worst hotel stays. The room had no windows and no natural daylight at all, which made it feel quite uncomfortable. The bed was extremely squeaky -I was waking up almost every time I moved because of the noise. There was also basically no soundproofing. The room was on the first floor, so you could hear every time someone entered the building, as well as noise from surrounding rooms and hallways. Manager was saying it’s because the building is very old, but still It did affect our stay a lot. I understand that we booked the cheapest room option, and I did see other rooms in the property that looked much nicer and had windows. However, even for a budget-friendly stay, I think there are better options in the area. I definitely wouldn’t recommend booking the cheapest room category here.

La stanza che ci hanno dato non aveva finestre, era sotto e hanno giustificato questa scelta perchè eravamo giovani e così avremmo evitato di disturbare gli altri clienti. Premetto che eravamo solo in due io e la mia ragazza e non è nostro uso disturbare, e si siamo giovani ma questo non è una giustificazione per darci una stanza senza finestre. Abbiamo provato a chiedere ma ci hanno risposto che ci avevano fatto un favore a farci stare in un zona riservata rispetto agli altri ospiti....il nostro soggiorno era breve e abbiamo preferito non rovinarci la vacanza. Quindi se decidete di soggiornare qui specificate che richiedete una stanza con finestra.

The staff is friendly, the location is excellent, and everything is clean. There is air conditioning, and the service is outstanding. You can really tell they put care and attention into customer service, which is greatly appreciated! There was a few slight drain smell in the bathroom, but leaving the bathroom fan on overnight and keeping the door closed solved the issue. This was only a minor detail compared to everything else that was so positive.

The room was spotless, and the atmosphere throughout was peaceful and unhurried. This is a place where time slows down in the best way. Antonio and his family don't just run a business; they open their home and make strangers feel like family. When we decide to go back to Florence, we'll definitely be staying at this place. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

La nostra camera (King Superior) era confortevole, con il letto grande e comodo. Il bagno spazioso e ben illuminato, buona e varia la colazione servita in una bel soggiorno arredato con gusto.Personale gentile e disponibile, il proprietario Antonio ti intrattiene piacevolmente sulla storia di Firenze e sui posti interessanti da visitare.

Gestione del check-in un po' disordinata. Le nostre stanze molto piccole, soffocanti e addirittura senza finestre , letti scomodi, scale erte e difficoltose.

- Deborah (9/5): Great location with friendly staff - Our room was nice and quiet while being close to everything. Florence is a walkable city and being this close to the train station provided great access into and out of the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided 24 hour access to drinks and snacks. Breakfast was low key but they did provide plant-based milk for anyone not into dairy. They let us drop off our bags before check-in and leave the bags there after checkout which was super convenient! Very friendly environment. I expected a bit more food at breakfast like eggs. Especially since it was mentioned to us the night before. That said, they offered plenty to eat.

- Itziar (8/5): Cómodo hotel y excelente ubicacion - El personal: desde Antonio a todo su equipo. La habitación amplia, el colchón, el silencio para dormir y sobre todo la ubicación. La facilidad de poder acceder todo el mundo a la zona del desayuno me pareció un tanto caótica. Me parece que restan practicidad a los miembros del "Staff" y que se forman pequeñas colas. También entiendo que si la hora oficial del desayuno empieza a las 8h, a esa hora debería estar todo montado.

- Louise (10/5): Fabulous - The hotel is a stunning historic building very close to the station. It is very quirky! The host was incredibly helpful. It was like a home from home. There are a lot of steep stairs but staff help you with your luggage. It was not a problem for us at all.

- Gonzalo Sebastián (9/5): - La ubicación es perfecta si tenés que moverte a otros lados cerca de Florencia, ya que se encuentra a menos de 5' a pie de la terminal de trenes. Se encuentra lo suficientemente cerca del centro como para no tener que caminar demasiado tiempo. El personal es muy amable.

Exceptionally good size of the room and the bathroom. Very friendly staff. Charming historic building. The bed was too soft for us.

- Danae (7/5): Close to the Train - Super close to the train station. Gracious and helpful hosts. Our room looked cute, but the ceilings were really low. Great place if you are short. Pullout bed was really loud whenever you moved. Breakfast was OK. I didn’t like that you had to have your key with you to exit the hotel area. A bit of a fire trap. A key by the door would be much safer.
- BUSIELLO (9/5): Tutto molto tranquillo e intimo - L'home boutique s.m. novella ti fa sentire davvero a casa, camere ben arredate, pulite e silenziose. In una zona comodissima, sia vicino alla stazione, che ai luoghi di interesse di firenze. Nota d'onore al proprietario, Antonio, un vero signore, non ci sono altre parole per descriverlo. Complimenti. Se dovessi cercare il pelo nell'uovo, direi la colazione. La cosa bella, è che era h24, quindi quando volevi, potevi mangiare qualcosa o farti un caffè in autonomia. Però nell'orario di servizio dalle 8-10, avrei preferito qualcosa in più alla solita colazione che trovi h24, magari qualche cornetto o sfogliato simile.
- REINA (9/5): 駅近で可愛いお部屋でフィレンツェを楽しめました！ - ホテルのスタッフさんがとにかく親切でした！宿泊するまでのメッセージのやり取りからレスポンスも早く、とても丁寧に対応していただけたので、安心して訪問することができました。 英語もイタリア語も話せない私たちのために、翻訳機を使いながら丁寧に街のおすすめスポットを案内してくださったり、エレベーターがないにも関わらず、重たいキャリーケースを運んでくださったりと、本当に助かりました。 お部屋もとにかく可愛く、バルコニー付きのお部屋で、まるでフィレンツェに住んでいるかのような気分で滞在することができました。 毎日タオル交換と清掃もしていただけたので、常に気持ちよく過ごせました。 共用部にはケトルと冷蔵庫があり、食材を保管したり、お湯を沸かして簡単な食事をとることもできて便利でした。 また、洗濯も2人分で10€と良心的で、朝に預けると夕方には紙袋に入れてお部屋に置いてくださっており、洋服をリフレッシュできたのもとても助かりました。 施設が悪いわけではありませんが、こちらにはエレベーターがないので、足腰の悪い方や大きなキャリーケースを持ってこられる方には向かないと思います。 今回バルコニー付きの“panorama”のお部屋に泊まりましたが4階だったので荷物を運んでくれたスタッフさんや旦那さんがかなりしんどそうでした.. (重たいのに運んでくださって本当にありがとうございます)

L'unica finestra, veramente piccolissima, dava sul corridoio della struttura. Non era menzionato nella descrizione di Booking. Inoltre viene indicato come le camere siano "insonorizzate", ma si sentono tutti i rumori esterni.

Es como si fuera una casa con habitaciones con balo privado. Lo ruidosa de la habitacion que nos toco.

El espacio muy pequeño, es un atico, esta en un 3 piso, sin elevador, se que es un edificio histórico o de 500 años de antigüedad pero es complicado aún con mochilas, la cama super incomoda el colchón muy delgado, parecía colchoneta.

- daniel (10/5): Felt very welcomed here and would return here 100% - The owner and the staff are very nice and friendly. The owner told us about the history of Florence and will answer any of your questions. The place is very clean with nice facilities. The rooms are very cosy even if they are a bit small. The breakfast is good enough for most people. The location is close to all the main attractions and shops and the train station. There will be a narrow flight of stairs and no elevator so be aware of that but the staff is happy to help with lagguage. All in all a great experience, I actually felt welcomed. This isn't necessarly something I didn't like but be aware that if you are tall like me (almost 2m) then avoid the top 2 rooms as the ceiling is a bit less than 2m. The host was nice enough to move us to another room but you might want to check what room you are getting if you are tall.

- Everton (9/5): Excelente estadia em Florença - A proximidade à estação central é uma ótima localização, o que facilitou muito já que estávamos com algumas malas. A recepção nos ajudou com as malas na chegada antes mesmo de completarmos o check-in e nos explicou detalhadamente sobre a estadia, inclusive nos informando que a "cozinha" ficava acessível a qualquer hora do dia e que poderíamos nos servir independente de ter algum funcionário ou não, o que ajudou bastante com os horários para as visitas aos pontos turísticos.

Ma ció che colpisce veramente di questo luogo è la presenza di un personale molto disponibile e simpatico; é sembrato di essere andati a trovare un caro amico in una delle citta più belle del mondo. Grazie ad Antonio, Leo e Fatima per la dedizione e gentilezza dimostrata. Credo che ci sarà una prossima e che tornare da loro sarà un vero piacere. Ottima colazione! Consigliatissimo! Magari una maggiore comodità del letto.
