SILVIA MARCIA (8/5): Muito bem localizado - Valeu pela localização que é excelente. O melhor lugar de Barcelona. Também no mesmo prédio, no primeiro andar tem um restaurante que amamos, uma comida maravilhosa.
Sally (8/5): - We stayed 4 nights, unfortunately no fresh towels were provided during our stay. The bed was a shocker with a massive dip in the middle 😬 we had to crawl our way out of the gully each morning. Otherwise great position and value for money in the heart of Barcelona.

Maiko (6/5): - タオルの交換は4泊で1度も1枚も交換がなかった。交換がわかるように床に落としておいたが、持って行ってくれずだった。不衛生である。ケトルが無いのでお湯が沸かせない。優しいスタッフさんが貸してくれたので、たすかった。コーヒーメーカーがあるが、壊れていて使えない。結局一杯も飲めなかった。ドライヤーは3秒しか起動しない。髪は全く乾かせなかった。

SATOSHI (10/5): - Very near to the metro station and go to various places very conveniently and quickly. There are many famous sightseeing spots around the hotel. Stuffs are very nice, the room was cleaned every day. So recommended hotel.
Benjamin (6/5): - Fantastic location, but the property was noticeably run down. We had mould in the shower, likely due to the lack of any exhaust. Noise isolation wasn't great either as we could hear almost everything happening outside our room, including a child crying in the next unit. Location wise though, it's fantastic. Located right between Casa batllo and casa Milla, there's a wide range of buses and trains within reach.

Karen (10/5): - Hostelin was clean, they had great air condition to stay cool in the room, the bed was comfortable, the location great near excellent tapas restaurants, close to bus stop for the airport, on the same street as casa Mila and casa battlo. We had a city view and when door to outside was open that faced passaig de grassi it was loud but the closed door shut most of the noise out. The check in was easy, the room met our satisfaction well. I would definitely recommend hotel hostelin.
Verified traveler (6/5): Rather unpleasant stay - Hotel is definitely not 3-star. Very dated and poorly maintained. Furniture was old and shower cubicle was mouldy. The bedsheet was dirty and was stained with shoe prints. There were strands of hair on the floor as well. Sound proof was bad and air conditioning did not work. Housekeeping only changed the towels daily without any cleaning or changing of bedsheet. Nevertheless, location is perfect and the main receptionist was friendly. The worst part: one of the receptionist was rude and barged into our room on our third day of stay at around 10am, without knocking the door. We were shocked as we were still inside the room. He seemed to have made a mistake but did not apologise. He also couldn’t understand English, so we couldn’t communicate with him. This incident is unacceptable and unprofessional.

La ubicación excelente del hotel en pleno paseo de Gracia, la tranquilidad de la habitación interior. La relación calidad precio al menos si uno reserva con mucha antelación. Es una propiedad de solo 9 habitaciones por tanto es difícil pillar una habitación. Es un hotel sencillo, cómodo y seguro. Muy recomendable. Yo volveré sin duda. Gracias Andrés!

Ji yeon (8/5): 좋은 공간! - 전반적으로 만족스러웠던 곳이에요. 우선 위치가 까탈루냐 광장과 가까워서 좋기는 했지만 람블라스 거리와는 생각보다 조금 거리가 있어서 왔다 갔다 하면 힘들긴 하더라구요. 그래도 이정도면 충분히 좋은 위치라 생각해요! 그리고 뷰가 예뻤어요. 리셉션에 계시는 분도 친절하시고 좋으셨는데 제가 혹시 커피포트 빌릴 수 있냐고 전화로 여쭤봤는데 영어를 못하셔서 그런지 문자로 달라고 하셔서 문자했는데 답장이 없었어요 ㅠㅠ 커피포트 없어도 되고 그냥 혹시나 해서 질문드린거였는데 답을 알 길이 없었습니다.. 그런데 이건 그냥 언어적인 문제라고 생각해요. 확실한건 위치좋고 깔끔하고 친절한 공간이었습니다.

Christoph (10/5): - Das Hostal ist sehr gut gelegen, man kann vieles zu Fuss, mit dem Rad oder öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen. Mein Zimmer war recht gross, mit eigenen Bad mit Dusche und Balkon. Es gab eine Kapselkaffeemaschine und einen Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer. Da ich etwas zu früh für den Check-In angekommen bin, konnte ich mein Gepäck problemlos abstellen. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Lauren (10/5): - Great location for high end shopping needs and a 15-20 minute walk to Las Ramblas. The reception was not manned for our 10am check out which is fine however we were not able to keep our luggage here until departure. This didn't effect our overall stay as the property is great.
Joseph (4/5): - Showed up 2 hours after check-in and the room wasn't prepared - maybe the bed was clean, but the balcony and the bathroom clearly still had trash from the last guest. When we checked-in, the front desk guy who did not speak much English made me pay the local Tourist Tax in cash and definitely ripped me off (made me pay 2x-3x as much as I should have, but I was staying for 5 days and frankly just needed the room so I swallowed it to make things go smoothly). It's a good area and an okay room a large (but loud/creaky) bed and a fridge, but this place is only upkeeped when you check-out. It basically seems like no one works there after you check-in, which is mostly fine. Bathroom had a sliding door that was clearly very broken / hard to move / coming off the hinges and the shower drain would smell like sewage at random, but these complaints are a bit minor compared to the already mentioned stuff.

Miguel (4/5): Inaccurate description.. stay elsewhere.. - This place's description was not accurate.. 1) It was supposed to have AC and we were told that if it was too hot, to open up the window since they only had a heater available. 2) it was stated we would get bottled water in the room.. that never happened. 3) In the app it was stated that we would get a bottle of sparkling wine, when we asked for it, they just said, "Im sorry we forgot". 4) "Private rooms" with paper thin walls... We could hear everything in the hall and in other rooms. Every time you would move while on bed, the mattress and/or base would make sure everyone would know. There are a lot of good places at Paseo de Gracia, the descriptions and accomodations are what helps travelers to make a decision. We are never staying here again nor recommending it to anyone.

Joseph (2/5): AVOID THIS PROPERTY!!!! - We recently stayed at this property for 2 of our 4 nights booked and paid for. It was the first stop of a dream vacation and Mediterranean cruise. Unfortunately, the local citizens decided to hold a protest with the government which erupted in violence in the streets with tear gas and rubber bullets for the entire week. This all occurred just outside our 2nd floor balcony complete with rocks and burning cars.If this did not make us feel unsafe enough when we came back to our room the 2nd night our door was open and the desk clerk and 2 other people were cheering the protesters from my balcony! This was completely unacceptable and we moved the next day to a different hotel, at our expense. Hotels.com contacted the property and was told they do not offer refunds and that was that. I will never use Hotels.com again as this is a clear violation of the rental agreement and they offer no resolution. Good location. but NO A NO MANAGEMENT PROPERTY. My next call is to the Ministry of Spain whom started relocating tourists because of the protest. I only asked for the refund because of the instability of the area and the invasion of my room by others. I feel this is a reasonable request.

I travelled alone and had the single internal room - which I have to admit did not have a nice view! but then your not in your room much. The beds are comfy, the bedding is clean. The bathroom is lovely and clean and the shower is nice and warm. Air con worked fine - most the time - and the wifi was standard and didnt drop out. With 2 metro stations near by and the buses everywhere its a central place that easily allows you to explore the city.

I was walking to pretty much everywhere and my favorite part was that it was a train trip away from the Barcelona airport, no transfer needed. Wifi was a bit shaky here and there but over all, it had all I needed and it promised.

Verified traveler (8/5): - Rooms were clean and the service was good. A little odd that it's like in a big building but it's only like 9 rooms in a hallway. So if you're looking for a fancy place and great amenities this is definitely not the place for you. However, we only needed to be there to sleep at night, and they held our bags so it worked perfectly for us. The location is also awesome! Close to a convenient train station and lots of cool stores and restaurants.

Verified traveler (8/5): Excelent location - Small place on a 3rd floor of an old building. There is access with an elevator. Rooms are very clean and full of light. The only problem is that is noisy inside the room, the walls are very thin and next door`s noice is part of your room. There was a restaurant with a terrace one floor down from my room during the day. Some noise came from there. But not at night.
Pankaj (8/5): Great Central Location - Located on the Passeig de Gracia (equivalent to London's Regent Street) and close to bus routes, metro and famous sites. The hostalin is fairly basic but clean and functional. Most websites don't mention that rooms have a coffee making machine including coffee and milk pods. Also, the staff are very friendly and efficient - we wanted a kettle for the room and they found one; I wanted to print out an important document and they obliged without making a fuss. I would recommend that you get a room with a balcony overlooking the Pg de Gracia - can be a bit noisy but the view and people watching makes it worthwhile!
James (6/5): Okay but seems expensive for its minimal service - Location is good as it is right in the middle of town and shopping / food vicinity. However, its service is minimal. Staff on duty is friendly and helpful but you are very much on your own. The price I paid seems high for a hostel ... with minimal service.

Astrid (10/5): Excellent Location! - Location is great. Close to Diagonal metro station. There is a restaurant in the same building that closes late at night. Plenty of cafes nearby. The Hostal itself is just what you need after walking all day in Barcelona. The price is vastly reasonable for what you get. I stayed in a basic room with private bathroom. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfy and huge in size. Staff are very friendly and willing to provide advice. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone who visits Barcelona
Maxim (2/5): Avoid! - Avoid at all costs, it is hostel level!! I booked a simple room for £200 GBP for 2 nights of my planned "pleasant" weekend in Barcelona. When I arrived, I was given a room literally next to the reception, just one meter away and then also next to some sort of dirty smelly facility room with mops and baskets. No other room available, no change, no refund, nothing to resolve very unhappy customer and it was at all not as per the images, it is NOT 3 STAR HOTEL!!! Hotels.com of no help as my card was charged directly, but very gracious to offer a gift voucher, but still lost most of the money… I left and had to immediately book next door Hotel Royal Passeig de Gracia again via Hotels.com for the same amount of about 200 GBP, same money but next-door hotel is all as per images, perfect stay and very happy, just 50 m away! I have hundreds of booked and paid nights all around Europe with Hotels.com, and it is my first negative review for many years, so you can imagine how outrageous my experience was!
vickie (8/5): Its all about Location & this hotel has a GREAT 1 - Location, Location, Location!! This is a very clean basic hotel that is located 2 minutes from both Casa Mila and Casa Batllo and 2 minutes from the train/metro station. Great street next to Gucci and Chanel. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful. We got in very early and they let us drop off our luggage and had our room ready 2 hours early. It is located on the main shopping street with restaurants everywhere. Just a 5-7 minute walk to the Gothic Quarter. This isn't a luxury hotel but nice, clean, on suite with comfortable bed. What else do you need??

Bruce (10/5): Well located - First time in Barcelona so this was a well located hotel with ease of access and close to Metro stations. Check in was easy with hotel's staff providing plenty of information in regards to the sights and use of the Metro train system. Very good value for money.
Leslie (8/5): Oodles of charm on millionaires row - The room was definitely for a single person. Could have used a little more hanging space. Bed super comphy and bathroom modern and spotless. Excellent location close to everything you could need or want to see. Public transportation terrific. Staff super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place to stay.
Adelle (10/5): Amazing Staff, Good Location - Front desk staff was amazing with general tips for traveling around Barcelona. The room was rather clean, room was cleaned everyday. Location is good with 2min walk to nearest metro stop, 10min walk to the main square (Plaza de Catalunya - where the airport shuttle bus stops too). I do recommend this place.

Rhona (8/5): Excellent Location - The location of the hotel is perfect! It is 10 minutes walk from Placa Catalunya with lots of shops and restaurants along the way. The area feels safe even if you're walking after midnight. The room is not fancy but it is clean and comfortable. Our room has balcony facing the main street so it is nice to sit and relax at night. We arrived past midnight and there was no problem with check-in. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in Barcelona.

Sydney (10/5): Great Staff, Great Location - My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and never once were we disappointed. It is extremely clean and quite cute. I loved the location. Its like your own little hidden hotel in a busy town. I felt safe at the hotel and the staff was SOOO wonderful. He was very sweet. I will definitely be staying here the next time Im in Barcelona.

ML (10/5): Simple and comfortable hotel in amazing location - The hotel is one floor of a beautiful mixed use building, in an amazing but quiet location you cannot beat. It is very simple, clean, and comfortable - no carpet, which I love (always suspicious of hotel carpets ever being really clean). The room with a view is really fantastic. The best part is the staff, who was so welcoming, kind and helpful. Only negative was the towels are not looking so good - time to buy new and better quality ones.
