Guest Reviews
- Deb (10/5): - This was a great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were treated as guests and not just customers. The room was clean and comfortable. With real blankets and comforter on the bed instead of the thin white blankets found in chain hotels. There was comfortable pillows that were normal sized instead the usual half sized ones found in most hotels. There was an actual bath mat for the bathroom floor. I don't remember the last time I seen that. The place was quiet the three days we were there. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The only reason I'm not giving a perfect score is the ashtrays on the balcony and the trash cans by the stairs were never emptied while were there but even that can be excused since I'm sure it was only because the place is run by only a couple of people and they were busy working and helping guests every time we seen them. If we ever return to this area this is where we will stay and I'll recommend it to anyone who asks.
- Barbara (10/5): - The convenience is worth the lack of updates. Its not boujie or anything special, but its a place a stay and make memories.
- Steven (8/5): - A little outdated but comfortable.
- Michael (10/5): Reasonably nice, older rooms with some updates - We checked in pretty late, and the physical key was left in the door for us. The lady in the office was super friendly, which really helped us relax during our stay. There were some relatively recent updates to the rooms that made them a bit more comfortable, and it looked like they were doing some renovations on the other side of the building. Other things needed a refresh, or at the very least some attention/deep cleaning. The shower head was pretty oldschool and made it seem like there was no water pressure until I adjusted it. We also ran into some trouble with the plumbing. The lady said their pump got stuck on overnight, which caused lots of air in the lines in the shower, toilet, and sink. This must have kicked up a bunch of sediment, because at that point the water started coming out brown with some dirt/sand in it. I trust her that this was a fluke, and would be willing to try them out again in the future. For a budget motel, it was nice and quiet, close to downtown, and quite cheap.
- Lisa (10/5): Very friendly - The owners were so nice. They went out of their way to make us comfortable!
- George (10/5): - Nice location. Facility has some age, but is acceptably kept up. A value for the price.
- Shon L (10/5): - Great check in and stay, recommended to all.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Not yet
- Jairus (8/5): - We had a wonderful time visiting the area and the hotel was very clean and smelled clean the moment we walked in the door. Shower head was very dated and water trickled out of it would be our only complaint but everything else was perfect.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean, great service!!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Location
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Another guest arrived about the same time we did and occupied our "king" room rather than their "standard" room with two double beds. A staff person corrected their mistake, so the whole incident took 10 minutes or less. This happened because keys are left in the room doors rather than being issued to the guests--probably not a good idea. This is an older hotel, but clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- Barbara (10/5): Comfortable and clean - This hotel was great for the night. The bed was comfortable. They have recently renovated one side and are waiting before starting on the other side. Friendly staff.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional friendliness and facilities! - Wow! I’ve stayed at some very high-end hotels and the service and attention at The Statue Inn puts all of them to shame. The manger was very warm and welcoming, and every was ready for me even though I arrived earlier than expected. Her kindness continued when I asked about an ATM to get cash to use for the Eureka Springs trolley. She explained there was no ATM at the inn, then she offered to “float” me the $6 for the trolley herself!
The room was super clean and just perfect for my solo weekend getaway.
Many thanks to everyone at The Statue Inn for a great stay!
- Rachel (4/5): Do not stay here! - My husband and I showed up we paid and went to our room and looked at it and turned right back around and found a different hotel we were grossed out. It smelled like grandmas house looked like grandmas house bleh it was gross.
- Nicholas (10/5): Quiet little place - Quaint hotel with easy access to Eureka Springs, yet off the main strip, making it quiet. They are remodeling some of the rooms, so it will be interesting to see the improvements next time.
- Sonya (10/5): - My friend and I stayed here 3 nights. This was the best we could have asked for! We didn't care to have a luxury lodging because of course we're there for vacation. But this was still nice, nice view and nice location (close to everything) and the best part: the people who run/clean this hotel are super nice! The woman at the front desk was very informative with every question we had. Questions like: 'when does the trolley pick up?' or 'what time does this tour do that' 'where do we go for that?' 'What is there to do on a Saturday night for two people who like yadayadayada' or even 'what is the history of this structure?'
- Bob (8/5): - The property was on a hill above the hustle of Eureka Springs historic center...1/2 mile across the hill from the Christ of the Ozarks. Everything was nice...pool was still closed for winter. Breakfast was sparse, however fruit and hot cereal was provided in the room. Only issue was that the internet connectivity was very poor...out of 4 devices of mine, only one was able to connect to a router that was at the front of the building, leading to poor reception.
- Whitney (10/5): Awesome - Amazing people that gave us an amazing stay
- Amanda (10/5): Amazing manager! - The manager was SUPER friendly! Great customer service. Great price for the room! My partner and I were completely satisfied!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Older facility, but well maintained and very clean. The staff were amazingly friendly and extremely accommodating to the needs/desires of my elderly mother, and I plus my service dog. Will recommend to friends and family.
- Jane (10/5): - Anthony and Traci are very welcoming and sweet hosts. Very relaxed atmosphere.
- TerryCarr (10/5): - Awesome get away. Fabulous staff. Quiet and comfortable.
- Mark (10/5): - I like the staff, very nice. Clean room. Very close to Eureka Springs, about a 3 min. drive.
- Amanda (10/5): Highly Recommend! - The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing. They have a good breakfast each morning. The location was awesome. Quiet street, but 5 minutes or less from just about anything and a nice food truck right across the fence for when you don't want to run out for food. Definitely recommend this motel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good place to stay. - Very friendly staff and good service.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Acceptable, but barely - The owner and staff were very friendly and the room was spacious, but it is an older motel and could have been more clean. Also the shower was pretty terrible. Overall it was a safe place to spend the night given the price.
- Gigi (6/5): - The motel said that they didn't get our reservation even though I had received a text to call and confirm so I did 3 day earlier. I showed him the text and my call log where I called and spoke with Dustin at the motel. The story then changed to they had a pipe burst and only 2 rooms were affected. The motel they sent us to was supposed to honor our rate but did not. This trip was a nightmare because I'm pretty sure the Statue Road Inn gave away our room, and didn't want to fess up.
- Bonita (2/5): - After having the reservation for a month, I arrived only to find out that my reservation had been cancelled due to overbooking. The clerk said that he sent me a message through the site, but I never received a message. He also stated that he tried to call my number but it was disconnected. My number has never been disconnected. He did, however, recommend the Recency Inn to us. The clerk there was very friendly and nice. I am thankful there was a vacancy at the Recency Inn.
- Jennifer (2/5): - The room smelled strongly of big spay when we checked in. We were only there for about an hour then left to go to the passion play which was within walking distance. (That was my whole reason for booking this property) we started noticing very itchy bites on us then. Upon returning to the inn, we discovered “bugs” or mites on us and in the bed. We promptly packed up, notified the manager and left. We were refunded the price of the room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Managers not available, no phones in the room, not enough towels
- Jeff (8/5): - Nice affordable hotel. Clean.
- Sandra (4/5): Bad service with this app - We only had 2 rooms instead of 4 I had booked,Big inconvenience!! Not happy with you I removed your app, other family that booked same place had no room also
- Ernestine (6/5): Nice, clean, quiet. - Quick check-in process. Enjoyed our stay. Close to restaurant we went to. Clean and quiet.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not what was advertised - There were no king beds, no wifi, no breakfast. All we're ordered and confirmed. We had to ask for the outside security lights to be turned on. Would never return.
- Jane (10/5): - Great stay!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Best for the price and good location , staff is soo friendly
- Verified traveler (2/5): Will never use again - No rooms ready when we got there so he unsold a room. Bed was hard as a rock, ac made loud noises all night and no water pressure for shower. I will never be back and DO NOT recommend this place to anyone.
- Mike (8/5): Location - Originally asked for ground floor but had to walk up & down steps many times. Continental Breakfast wasn't much. Donuts, some fruit and hot cereal in packages to heat & add water. Location was excellent to most everything.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Statue Road Inn - Eureka Springs, AR - This inn was convenient to the gospel play we attended and the staff was wonderful. Enjoyed our stay,
- Pat (4/5): Over priced - Below average
- Jerry (8/5): Not a top class motel but clean . - We wanted some thing close to the Great Passion play and this was it we could walk , it was clean and we had no issues with any thing. we booked even though we saw some bad reviews and we where not disappointed.
- Gail (8/5): Adequate hotel - The perks of this hotel were that it was close to town, offered a free breakfast, and seemed pretty clean. The negatives were that they don't provide internet, and the condition of the room wasn't the greatest. The bathroom door had the veneer shredded off of it, and the sink was scratched up and dirty looking. Other than that, the room was comfortable. The only other thing that was disturbing was that I was charged a couple more dollars at the hotel than promised by hotel.com.
- kenneth (6/5): - No place to hang your clothes, tv did not work and no phone in the room. Room was decent, and reasonably priced.
- Statue Road Inn (10/5): Awesome place and southern hospitality! - it was amazing and the people were very kind!
- ron (2/5): bad - first room wasnt cleaned or made up continental breakfast on web site nothing was offered would never stay there again no wifi very few chanels on tv mostly religious BAD BAD BAD
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Comfortable. A place to be if you want to be away with nature
- Verified traveler (8/5): Out of the traffic but close to everything - Got the wrong room at first but it was quickly changed. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, my handicapped bathroom worked out great. There are no phones in the rooms and that felt strange at first, but everyone has a cell phone now days and the reception was good. Staff (John) was VERY helpful and quick to respond to every request or problem. He referred us to a restaurant that we enjoyed 3 times during our stay. My room had a microwave and refrigerator (don't know if all do) which was useful for "doggie bag" left overs.
- bobduncan (8/5): Nice hotel but no Wi-Fi - Front office is empty all the time. No breakfast was served as promised. House keeping was excellent
- Verified traveler (4/5): This hotel does not like to honor reservations! - I made reservations months ago. When we got there nobody was there to check us in. We had to wait about 1/2 hour for the guy. When it was our turn to check in we presented him with our reservation and the price we reserved the room for. We were told that they were all out of king beds. He blamed it on Hotels.com saying that these king beds had been sold out for months. Then the guy tried charging us the same price he had just charged someone without a reservation. Then tried to tell us that it was "Tax". I have traveled the world and never paid a $45 dollar per night tax. Then he tried to say that there was a rally in town and he wasn't selling the room for that cheap. (Attending the rally is why we booked and made reservations months ago.) My wife explained....the reason why someone makes a reservation is to get the hotel at a better price than those who don't.) What would be the point in making a resevation if we were going to pay the same?? My wife said we would call Hotel.com. guy was snotty and said "Go ahead, they are just gonna call me. It ain't changing nothing!" We stepped outside in 92 degree weather to call. I guess we met his bluff because he suddenly came outside saying he would honor the price of the reservation but "We ain't gettin no king bed not a view" After check in we saw some other bikers we knew. They had a king bed with a lovely view.....they did not make a reservation. We got stuck by the storage room....no view. We are NEVER staying here again!!
- Sharon (4/5): Need improvement!!! - I was not impressed with the hotel. The person at the front desk was not very informative on much, except the ice machine was in the check -in area. The air conditioner was not that cold. It also smelted musky.
We will probably stay in town or closer to town next time.
- Leonor (10/5): Night @ Statue Road Inn - Very pleasant stay. Quiet and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): weekend getaway - Just what we needed for the weekend! Staff was very helpful and worked with us on things we needed! Will definitely be back!
