- Salome (4/5): Good for price and convenience. - The location was convenient within walking distance to shops & food places. Very poor light, the window you couldn’t open for fresh air, the air conditioning was very dirty you could tell whenever it’s on it gives off a certain smell, the fan was dirty (lots of dust).

- haynes (3/5): - The room size Wasn't clean. the shared bathroom/toilet was dirty overflowing rubbish bins in the hallway the bedding was so very stained
- Con (8/5): Overall it was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend it. - It was a great location as it is situated in the middle of a shopping centre. As I had no car, there were quite a few bus options. The lack of spoons, cutlery, utensils etc.
No acess to drinking water.
Suggestion - either a drinking water dispenser in each room, OR, at least one in the corridor.
Male Toilet. - the toilet seat was broken the six nights I stayed there.

- Roger (5/5): Convenient and cheap, but overall a bit disappointing. - Cheap and conveniently located.
Note however that Campsie train line is currently not operational due to the conversion to the Metro. No bedside lamp, no face washer, no bath mat, one cup in a double room, bedroom blind didn’t work, TV remote didn’t work, staff communication not great, despite putting my ID details in online, I had to do it all over again when I checked in.

- Giorgia (2/5): - Small room upstairs a pub, dodgy entrance through the pub, very loud, smell of smoke everywhere , windows didn't close well. Mattresses were very short and uncomfortable, blankets super thin.
Definitely not worth the money.

- Taeksu (1/5): -
- Robbie (8/5): - Tidy, basic, affordable. Great food in vicinity. Staff efficient
- Abhinav (10/5): - Had a great stay.
- Daniel (4/5): - At time of writing this review the current rating is 3/5. I believe this to be fair concensus.
However I had a solid 2/5 stay. For the first two nights we stayed in room 6, a room that smelled strongly of a rotting animal corpse. We're obviously very appreciative that an alternative room was arranged and that staff were very helpful but one of the replacement rooms was not properly cleaned with the previous occupants rubbish left completely filling the cupboard. The other smelled of mold, as the air conditioning system was damaged at had been left to drip onto the carpet.
The lack of care in maintaining cleanliness in obvious places has me concerned about the less obvious things.
- Apperley (1/5): -
- Reena (10/5): - Shopping and food
- Santosh (2/5): - I stayed at Hotel Campsie recently and had a very disappointing experience. I travelled from different state to meet a friend and expected a relaxed stay, but the security made it stressful from the start. As soon as I arrived, the security guard stopped me and said I wasn’t allowed inside without even asking why I was there. I explained I had a booking, and only then he let me in, but without any apology.
While I was checking in and had already given my ID to the staff, the same guard came again and told me to leave the area and go upstairs, without asking why I was waiting. His attitude was rude and disrespectful, which made me feel very unwelcome.
Later, I asked the hotel staff if I could have a few drinks at the bar with my friend and was told it was fine. But when we went to the bar, the security guard blocked us again, refused service, and even threatened to call the police for no clear reason. It felt aggressive and unnecessary.
Also, the hallway near the rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes and was quite unpleasant.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was far from acceptable. I hope management seriously looks into the behaviour of their staff and security and improves how they treat paying guests.
- Sally (8/5): -
- John (6/5): - Property was reasonable for price.
Staff were very rude and unforgiving
- James (10/5): - Everything and everyone Nothing
- Reena (10/5): - Good shopping places
- Kim (10/5): -
- KALPESH BHOGILAL (10/5): - All good no attach bathroom and heatpump problem
- Apperley (5/5): -
- Apperley (1/5): Bad - nothing smell
- Graeme (6/5): - Good value for a balcony room with shared bathroom and access to parking. The location is reasonably convenient and has a range of suburban and neighbourhood shops and Asian restaurants. The room has a jug and fridge for drinks and the bistro is great value. When the train station is finished, public transport will be easier.
- Maaki (10/5): Exceptional - I love everything about it No comment
- Linda (2/5): - I won't stay again in this hotel, it's dirty and didn't did what they commited. It was said daily room service is available, but we stayed 3 days and 4 nights, just had 1 day room service. The quilt cover and pillow are dirty with black spots, the bed looks urgly.
- Apperley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vijendra (10/5): - Great
- Vijendra (10/5): - Amazing
- Ralph (6/5): Great, if not for. - I like the location, the street it was on was lively.
It had a sports bar and bistro. The rooms had a TV as well which was great. The kettle was a massive positive. It was actually great if not for bed bugs in the sheets that caused painful sores and welts on my skin.
- Ebony (3/5): Poor -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shuji (5/5): Passable -
- Christine (1/5): Don’t come here!! Unless your a Vietnamese man don’t come here - Nothing Everything, I didn’t feel safe to bring my family especially my young daughter to place like that. We forfeited what we paid and took it as a loss and stayed somewhere else.
- Maeva (2/5): Very poor - The bed had bugs. 🪳 of all sizes were found in the room. The remote didn't even work. Men have more showers then the ladies. There was no wifi password given. The fact that ladies can take longer than an hour to have a shower in a shared bathroom.
- Jackson (10/5): Best staff - The staff are so friendly I’d recommend too friends this was my second stay my room was perfect
- Andreza (6/5): Pleasant -
- Toufic (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olga (10/5): Very friendly and understanding staff and management. The hotel is clean, great location, - Great Nothing to add, we had a very good expirience
- elaine (6/5): - Very friendly but not obvious where hotel entrance was. No milk no spoons. No bedside light
- Rosie (9/5): Awesome stay recommended to everyone 4.5 stars - Hotel is situated inside the city shop’s restaurant Everything within a minute Would be nice if a microwave oven was included
- Ale (5/5): Passable - The stuff so friendly and helpful thanks We didn't like the only one toilet and two small shower for so many rooms apart from that everything seems okay, the stuff a very friendly
- Anny (6/5): Good for the price - The location was excellent lots of shops&restaurants around. 15mnts drive to the airport and 25mnts to the city. The room was good size with a Queen bed, desk & chair(was working still so was really good), fridge, kettle and tea cups. Shared toilet & showers was clean every day. 2 ways to get upstairs to your room and I would say both ways were pretty secured esp with everything going on downstairs. We couldn’t really hear any music from our room so was good There were bed bugs and my partner couldn’t sleep at night. We stayed 4nights and had to chase the cleaner to change our bed sheets(changed it once). No cutlery so had to go to the restaurant downstairs and get some. The fridge- inside the freezer wasn’t clean probly. Cleaners need to give the room a good vacuum, under the table & around and behind the fridge. Ladies showers- they need to have a shower certain cover or something cos water goes everywhere. Also would be good to have 2x room keys cos it was hard for me and my partner to use the 1 key esp going our separate ways to visit friends
- Isaac (10/5): Exceptional -
