• ROMAN (1/5): - Ничего Всем привет! Внимательно выбирайте отели в Мумбаи, Индии. Про данный отель, который себя так называет. Это худшее место в мире где я бывал. Ужас, ужас и еще раз ужас. Это не отель, это помойка, даже не общежитие. Даже не 1 звезда. Все очень старое, вонючее, на этаже при вас готовят, в любое время и днем и ночью громко разговаривает, спать невозможно от шума с улицы так и внутри, вай фай не работает. Избегаете его стороной, все негативные отзывы абсолютно правдивые, ВСЕ ... Еще раз просто ужас … Даже за бесплатно я бы сюда не вернулся

• Sara (5/5): - We stayed in Colaba, Mumbai, and overall had a good experience, especially considering the general standards in the area. After reading many reviews before arriving, we noticed that most hotels seemed to have similar issues — mainly cleanliness and noise — so we came with realistic expectations. The room was fairly clean, although it could definitely use a fresh coat of paint. That said, for the price, it was absolutely acceptable. What really made a difference was the staff: they were very kind and helpful from the start. We were welcomed with water upon arrival, which was a nice touch, and when we had an issue with the electrical outlet in our first room (it was actually smoking), they immediately moved us to another room without any hassle. They provide towels and soap, and they were also very flexible in letting us leave our luggage there after check-out, which was really convenient. The location is another big plus — it’s close to the main attractions in Colaba, making it easy to get around. And a special mention: right downstairs there’s a lady selling absolutely delicious momos — definitely worth trying! All in all, a solid option for Mumbai if you’re looking for something well-located and good value for money.

• enrique (3/5): Go somewhere else, this is a S*it hole - Location The room for what it was, was overpriced. The worst of the experience of being in that hotel was the noise. Tho there are so many of other things I did not like. At 3 AM in the morning, while I was sleeping, there were few customers screaming and shouting very loudly, they woke me up and couldn't sleep again . I went to the reception and they say they will stop... But they didn't. I only would recomend this hotel to someone I don't like or I hate... I will never go back.

• TONPAY (10/5): Had nice stay at the property - Place is very nice and peaceful. I was travelling for the full night and there I got good and peaceful sleep, not a single disturbance happened. Staff is very nice and helpful. Nothing. Everything was fine.

• Boakes (5/5): Great location for a basic stay - Location was central to Gateway and Metro line. Breakfast was fresh in the morning and adapted so we didn’t have sugar. Unclean and very basic. Room was next to reception where staff sat listening to YouTube and music till the early hours.

The bed was clean and there was decent AC, the staff were helpful and friendly and made a great breakfast!! It’s on the 3rd floor with no elevator, the walls could do with a good clean or paint! It was make a huge difference to the over all look of the hotel.

• Angelika (9/5): Gut für die kurze Zeit - Schön war, dass es noch nachts 11 Uhr etwas zu essen gab und ich von einer kleinen Speisekarte bestellen konnte. Die Nähe zum Einkaufsviertel der Stadt war sehr gut für mich Die Innenstadt hat den Nachteil, sehr laut zu sein, es wird auch nachts nicht still. Das Toast-Frühstück versuchte europäisch zu sein, aber eine Weißbrotscheibe mit scharfer Sauce und Reibekäse ist eben kein "Cheese-Toast". Wenn das Personal der Gaststätte gar kein Englisch kann, ist es auch schwierig nach Besteck zu fragen

• Michel (10/5): Exceptional - Very close by to everything, that hotel is located at the 3rd floor - without lift - of a building in the heart of Colaba. The room I rented was a large one, a clear window view on huges trees, a clean and practical bathroom and a big comfortable bed. The staff is really kind and friendly. A real good budget hotel, a little bit far from the main tourists locations at Colaba area.

• Sidney (6/5): Great location but fairly run down. Don’t let this dishearten you as if you plan to spend most of your time outside of t - Great location in the heart of Colaba. Only a 5-10 min walk from the gateway of India. If you don’t expect to spend much time in the hotel then this is perfect for you. The check in staff let us pay in our native currency as our cards weren’t working at the time. Rooms were fairly clean but very run down. You get what you pay for (the location) so don’t expect much from the hotel. But overall it does the job.
• J Ian (6/5): - Amber Hotel is adequate if you seek a bed, toilet and shower. Expect no frills. Good value in Mumbai. Culture, eateries and other retailers within esy walking distance. Decent coffee shop 4 minutes' walk away. Pizza Hut also recommended.

• Shaswat (5/5): Passable - The location is perfect for someone visiting and wanting to see Colaba, gateway, etc. The room was clean. No elevator. Lugging the stuff to third floor is not so feasible always. My room had no physical latch - which must be there given the privacy and security concerns.

• Bevan (10/5): Amazing! Affordable, lovely place in a great location - It was great! I think they have either improved or been harshly reviewed. Clean place, nice room, comfortable bed, TV new enough that we could plug our fire stick in. Hot water and bin, AC and fan. Everything you need! It’s a great location and cheapest we found in the area. Nice staff and let us keep our bags there until our bus later on. Could use a sign on the outside of the building to find it easier. WiFi weak in the room.

• Sydney (2/5): Very poor - The property was close to the gateway of India VERY DIRTY! Yes I expected some level of uncleanliness with India, but hairs on the toilet, uncleaned floors, bed sheets with other people’s hairs on them and a room that smelled like smoke.

• Subhradeep (3/5): Very filthy rooms, no elevator, rooms not kept ready on arrival - The receptionist was nice, and they helped us to transport our bags up, as they does not have an elevator to get to the third floor. The rooms provided to us were not the ones we booked. The rooms were not ready even after showing up 1 hour after our arrival, and we were accommodated to a non-air conditioned room. The rooms were very dirty and in very pathetic conditions. The basic hand wash smells bad as if they got expired decades ago.

• A.t.m. (3/5): To tell you honestly we were totally disappointing and it is not value for money we paid. - Staffs are so friendly and the location is good. Breakfast is so poor and there is no coffee or Tea in the room. We need to ask for drinking water which is supposed tp provide 2 bottles free. Overall, there is no questions for 3-star rating as we booked a room based on at least 3-star facilities. They said it is behind Taj Hotel but it is not true at all. Rooms, Facilities, and Breakfast. There are extra noise outside of the room which is so irritating.

I could not stay in the hotel. 1)Flight got delayed, reached hotel at 21:00 2)The person at the reception was nice but he said the rooms were given away. 3)The reason for this being, me not informing them that I come later than 18:00 and that it's mentioned in the conditions of booking 4) I checked this condition,.did not see anywhere in my booking such a condition written 5) Evenso, there was no notification from the hotel that my booking is getting cancelled when it was 18:00. I traveled 2 hours from Airport in this direction due to a confirmed booking. Booking.com officials please note this hotel and give them notification to update their conditions correctly and also make guidelines that the customer is notified by the cancellation happening from the hotel side. Only thing good I felt was, the guy at reception helped to give me some tips to find hotels nearby.

I peeked into my neighbors room who were from USA and it seemed like their rooms were maintained well than mine (Indian). The Hotel was on third floor and no elevators so don’t bring that much luggage.
