• Francois (2/5): Le minimum du minimum - Bien placé près du night market C'est laid, lit avec drap contour et un petit piqué défraichi, serviettes de bain troués, savons tout cassés en morceaux, seul éclairage est des néons au plafond, rideaux cache seulement la moitié des fenêtres et sont translucides, porte d'entrée est une porte-fenêtre 40 cm plus bas que le palier, la toilette à aussi une marche de 20 cm sans endroit pour se déposer et tout les matins ont est réveillés par la musique, les motos etc... Avant 7 heures...

• Sylvia (7/5): - Die gute Lage zum See und Tempel auf dem Berg.Supermarkt in der Nähe. Man konnte sich Kaffee kochen in der Unterkunft. Wir brauchten 5 Zimmer und 1 davon war ein Economy mit Ventilator und genau dieses war grottenschlecht! Aber ein anderes war nicht mehr verfügbar. Die 4 Standardzimmer mit Klimaanlage waren einfach,aber dennoch gut und zweckmäßig.

All the staff are lovely and Mr Too is most helpful in arranging any trips around the area you might be interested in. Really close to the fabulous little town of Mae Hong Son - a little gem of a place with a fairly low key level of tourism. Look out for the crepe stall at the night market - they are the best! Nothing - sound travels here, but no problems with that

• Ingo (9/5): - Das Boondee House liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße unweit des Zentrums. Die Gastgeber sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Check in bekam man eine Karte mit den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt was sehr Hilfreich ist. Das Zimmer könnte einen neuen Anstrich vertragen.

• Nadine (6/5): - The receptionist was super friendly and helpful and even let me choose the room I wanted. The place is close to most things in Mae Hong Son. Parking is great as well. Rooms are big The windows and doors have big holes and the walls are more like thin aluminium plates. Which means I could even hear conversations others under and next to me had. Therefor it is incredibly loud and I didn't sleep much.

• Ahsan (8/5): Lovely centrally located guesthouse - Very good location - close to the important temples and night market and lake. Super helpful host. Unfortunately I’m writing this a week late and don’t remember his name. He had a hand drawn map to help people find fun things to do nearby, including restaurant recommendations (I tried his suggestions and 100% worth it). I liked everything about the property. It’s a very basic room but I had no expectations for more. There’s a nice area to enjoy a couple of beers in the evening. But what really seals the deal is the thoughtfulness of the host. He also helped me figure out how to get to Ban Rak Thai, and this information you won’t find on google.

• Anne (6/5): - La guesthouse est bien placée car à quelques minutes du centre-ville. Du thé et des bananes étaient à disposition librement. Ils ont gentiment accepté de garder mon sac pendant 24h alors que je partais faire une petite expédition. J'avais la grande chambre au fond mais elle est très vieillotte. Il y avait de nombreuses fenêtres mais sans vitre, uniquement avec des moustiquaires. Quant aux volets, impossible de les fermer car les moustiquaires ne s'ouvraient pas ! Donc seuls des rideaux vous "protègent" du froid et de la lumière. Par ailleurs, le lit ne disposait que d'un drap house et de couvertures. Il n'y avait pas de drap du dessus. Heureusement que j'avais avec moi un drap de soie. Enfin, le personnel est très gentil mais ne parle pas (ou très peu) anglais. Je n'ai pas réussi à obtenir les informations correctes de leur part concernant le moyen de transport que je devais prendre le lendemain. C'était stressant pour moi et je ne trouve pas normal de ne pas avoir un minimum de connaissances sur ce genre de choses. Résultat : je devais booker 2 nuits de plus mais j'ai préféré réserver dans un autre hébergement.

• Drew Rai (1/5): Awful Hotel in Chiang Mai. - Airconditioner. Reception lady was nice. Nothing in the room was good except airconditioner. Mattress was awful, the bed frame was too big and dangerous. No power point near the bed, no hot drink facility. Bathroom was tired and in need of improvement. The whole room needs refurbishment. I was thankful that I had to leave first thing in the morning.
