Guest Reviews
- Dane (2/5): - Filthy bathroom hole in wall remote didn't work 1/2" gap around door . Went to a different hotel. This would of been my 4th stay there just kept getting worse.
- ROBERT (10/5): - The remote wasn’t working very well but the rest of the stay was fine
- Pam (8/5): - Good place for a good price
- Joseph (8/5): Nice stay - The stay was nice. Near the water and many points of interest.
- Richard (4/5): - Air conditioner wasn’t cooling
- Jean (6/5): - The shower was wonderful, up to date and nice shower head. The lady who checked us in and brought the sheet and extra coffee packets was wonderful! I didn't like having to request a fitted sheet and put it on ourselves. The ice machine was not working and there is nothing in the kitchen, not even a pot or cookie sheet, no use in having the kitchenette. Dead bugs on the floor, but at least they were dead! Towels were very rough on the skin!
- Thomas (10/5): - Clean room
- Thomas (10/5): - Clean room
- Brent (10/5): - Your new property manager is awesome
- Brandy (10/5): - The dip to get put of parking always hit my oil pan i had to go sideways to prevent that.
- Monica (10/5): - The staff was awesome! From the time we checked in to the gentleman that cleaned our room…...completely professional. Very friendly and if you needed anything, just ask! They provided us with anything that we needed. May not be the prettiest but the staff was absolutely the best!!!!!! Clean beds, towels and sheets! Thank you Harbour Inn.
- Richard (10/5): - Awesome little room for the weekend
- Kenneth (6/5): A kitchen without necessities - Hotel is good for price, location is great. However, parking was tight (we parked on the street). We had a room with a kitchen and brought our own food to cook. Much to our chagrin, there were no pots or pans, no plates, silverware, or glasses. I sent a message ahead of time asking about these items and got no response. Office is always closed.
For what we spent, it was doable. We would not have brought meal stuff if we had known kitchen was not fully stocked. Location great, rest just fair
- Jose (8/5): Recommend 100% - Location is the best and price is great.
- Ruben (10/5): - Quite
- Binisa (10/5): - It was a nice place, affordable and in proximity to the bayside.
- Angie (2/5): - We came down from Colorado to get my stuff out of storage and needed a place to stay. The hotel manager, Loraine, checked us in. I booked a king size bed for two people . I offered Loraine my confirmation on my phone but she said she had it. The room she gave us had two double beds. We didn’t think anything of it. While we were loading up U-Haul, Loraine sent me email stating problem with reservation. There was two families with same last name and she gave us a family of 4’s room. Then she called at 11:30 wanting me to call Expedia to change reservation. I said no that this was her fault. The next morning, we offered to leave but she said she fixed it. Not very professional or customer friendly. She tried to blame us for her mistake .
- Norma (10/5): - It was very clean and comfortable and friendly staff. Nice location.
- Kimberly (2/5): - Gross
- Jennifer (6/5): - The property is close to shopping, dining and beach area. Unfortunately management is not on site you have to call for assistance. Staff was nice. Bed was uncomfortable, unable to watch Tv, ice machine did not work.
- Melvin (8/5): - Our stay was great enjoyed the beach and fishing 🙏💙
- Michael (10/5): - I used this motel to support a 3-day/2-night fishing trip, and it served me VERY well!!
- David (10/5): - The privately owned business is great for it's simplicity even with the kitchenette room. However, you should know that you need to bring your own cooking ware. There's also no vent hood above the stove. Plenty of hot water. As for getting new towels there's an additional person that makes the rounds. However, it may not be consistent so use the office number to let the owner know especially for any issues that pop up. It was a great stay for those 7 days. Pretty much all stores are close by with the beach in walking distance.
- Salvador (10/5): Convenient Stay - The motel location was very convenient. It was close to everything we were going to do, and the shops were all in walking distance. The rooms were nice and cold at night, making it very comfortable from being out all day. Nice and quiet at night.
- SAMANTHA (8/5): - I loved how close it was to the harbor and to the beach. Very quaint I hit it off with the property manager as soon as I got there…. She was so nice. Also very easy booking. I did wish the ice machine worked.
- Todd (2/5): - the people working the site were great but we had a room at the street side of the property next to the road and we didn't feel safe the room amenities were adequate but minimal and as we returned to the property late parking was all full and nowhere to park.
- Gerardo (8/5): - Room was clean when we arrive. We arrived on Friday and checked out Monday morning. Saturday was the only day we were brought towels. Trash was not taken out during our stay. We had to take trash out to trash cans. Usually have a very pleasant stay but this trip was disappointing. Will probably try again as we like the location.
- Chris (10/5): - Nice and quite area
- Patricia (10/5): - Nice quiet motel.
- raymond (8/5): - Loved the location! It was nice! Close to the Harbour!
- Lisa (2/5): - I have stay at this motel many time over the past years. It has always been very clean and kept up. This time it was worse than terrible. There was black mold above the door and window. There toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The floors had not been mopped in quite awhile. It did not smell clean like it used to! I will not stay there again and will not refer our friends like we have in the past!
- Lonna (6/5): - Needs work
- Richard (4/5): - Nothing like the picture except photo of bay across the street. Not worth money stay at a hotel!
- Kim (4/5): Gone way down hill!!!! - Stained sheets, stained towels, floor was filthy and the hair dryer didn’t work. We were staying here for 3 nights and four days and we were only given a half of roll of toilet paper and 1 towel each for two people. Large cockroach in our room. No batteries in our remote.
- Ajih (8/5): - Awesome
- Tonya (8/5): - Great location. Poor parking.
Minor complaint is long black hairs on sheets and blanket with numerous holes.
- Roger (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable bed!
- HUY (8/5): - Good property
- johan (10/5): - Buena Estancia
- Ethan (8/5): - .
- Terrell (8/5): - This is a great little motor court across the street from the bay.The room was clean. I was especially impressed with the quietness of the room, since the rooms were all connected. The bathroom and shower was clean. The young man who gave me my entry card was polite and friendly. It was close to everything. If you are looking for a cozy place to stay , this is it!
- Robin (10/5): Great customer service - We always have a lovely time at Harbor Inn. Clean simple accomodations right near the water. My husband had a bought of Vertigo and we needed to stay an extra night. It was a Friday and they worked with us on a very reasonable rate. It was a blessing because he was so sick he couldn't open his eyes much less drive 3 hours home. Great customer service.
- Raelene (10/5): - Comfy bed and great location to the bay/ocean. I would be back!
- MARIA (10/5): - We definitely going back
- Charles (10/5): - Good
- Yvette (8/5): - Nice staff very clean
- Debra (8/5): Great Location! - Always stay here. Great location.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good enough if you need a bed and shower - It was ok. Very functional. We just needed a place to sleep and take showers. Even though there is a kitchen area, there was no plates, no silverware, no pans to cook anything.
- Kyle (10/5): - Was the perfect stay for our 4 day trip. Nothing extravagant, just a good room at a great price. Nice quiet place for myself and my fiance to disapear from big city life. We love it.
- Diane (10/5): Great Location - We stayed a week. Great location. Walking distance to town, harbor, and beach. Very friendly people run motel! Comfortable bed. There is a full kitchen, but no cooking pans or utensils/plates. No biggy, just get something from a thrift store/dollar tree.
- Paul (4/5): - Limited parking. Not enough spaces for rooms. Television only had one channel. Tv posted that no one had checked into our room. Telephone was dead which means we had to walk to the office to report our concerns. Night person came to room. Left the door wide open. Could not get TV to work. Said he would call Spectrum but tv or phone never worked. Would not recommend or stay here again. Nice shower but nozzle is a good 6 1/2 feet high so made it very difficult to adjust.
- Dan (6/5): - So-So hotel. We wanted clean, bayfront, with a kitchen. It does have all these. However, no ice machine, the bathroom with a hole in the wall, light bulbs that needed replacing. We were promised that while no one was on duty, they would be there in two minutes…it took ten. Not bad, but we will probably stay somewhere else next trip.
- Georgina (10/5): - Fit our needs for quick overnight stay.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Clean room. Upgraded. Location is excellent. Very pleased with our stay. Will stay again.
- michael (10/5): - The room was basic but perfect for a weekend getaway. Very quiet location and walking distance to shops in the downtown area plus bait shops right across the road. They are pet friendly and located across from a dog friendly park which provides waste bins and bags to clean up after your dog. Not the first time staying here but will be back! Owners are friendly as well.
- amy (8/5): Good for the price - This place was clean, safe, and quiet. Simple, no frills. The handle in the shower came off but no other issues.
- Adrian (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - The worst place to stay at. Extremely dirty and unsanitary. Bedsheets stained, tiles broken in shower, refrigerator had bugs, and the room overall was insanely dusty and dirty. The key lock hardly worked, had to call multiple times to get help entering. The lock doesn’t feel secured and anyone can enter. Community service was horrible. Overall an uncomfortable stay.
- Patricia (10/5): - Great location
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Great stay and rates
- Charles (10/5): - Very clean and close to the beach.
- John (8/5): - Our favorite place to stay in Rockport
- John (8/5): - This is our favorite place to stay in Rockport. Nothing fancy but nice little motel that does a very good job of providing a nice place to lay your head at night which is all we use it fo.
- Nat (8/5): - Great walk in shower, bed comfortable, sound on TV nonadjustable and no ice in machine.
- Jacquelyn (6/5): - It was ok
- Trinidad (10/5): Nice - Surprised by the inside. Outside kinda old but when I got inside I was like dang this is nice and clean . A/c was cold.
- Edward (10/5): - Always like to stay here during our stay at rockport. Room very spacious and location is great. Will continue to stay here.
- Pam (10/5): - Next to bay
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Showed up and had to call for someone to come give me the key. Not a big deal.
The room was filthy. Bugs and dirt on the floor. The towels were either stained or not cleaned. I called the staff back and asked to either be moved rooms, or have them reclean this one. Their response was to give me a broom and leave again. I spent the first hour there cleaning my own room with supplies I bought from HEB.
Only reason I stayed was because I didn't have anything else lined up, and there was an event in town so it was hard to find something else.
Will never stay here again, and would encourage no one to stay here either. Even after that experience with the dirty room, the room felt like a cheap flip. Light fixtures missing in the ceiling, outlets sticking out from the wall because they weren't mounted correctly. Place is a money grab with owners who don't care once you've paid.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was okay. Comfortable and pleasant. A little disappointed no microwave or refrigerator. We’ve stayed there in the past several years. And always Loved our stay.
- Kathleen (6/5): - Kind of hard to complain about something that was only $70/night. The manager was nice.
The mattress, although comfortable, did not have a cover between the mattress and sheets. (I thought that was a standard). 2 of the light fixtures didn’t work, and there weren’t any reading lights next to the bed. The coffee service was well stocked, the A/C and television worked.
Although the room looked clean at first, up close, not so much. The towels were a good size and not too scratchy. The sign was missing, blown away in a storm 2 years ago, according to the manager.
- melani (6/5): - We had to sweep the rooms. Buy cleaning supplies to clean the rooms. Dirty fridge and food in the drawers. Towels and sheets were dirty and stained. Had to buy sheets, blankets, and pillows. Ice machine did not work and random people walking on the property to washing clothes.
- Bonnie (4/5): - It was very filthy when we checked in. We rented here because it had decent reviews, but the cleanliness was terrible. Everything was dirty. Everything except maybe the sheets and the sink and the bathroom and the top of toilet.
- Lesley (8/5): - Overall was a decent motel. Limited and very tight parking.
- Ruben (10/5): - Very clean A/C WORK VERY GOOD
- anna marie (6/5): Going to the 2024 Rockport Art Festival - When I checked in there was no mention of the current voluntary evacuation going on, which I was unaware of. Otherwise I would have changed my two nights stay to one. When the evacuation became mandatory, it was too late to change my reservation. The room was clean and right by the festival grounds, within walking distance.
- Pablo (10/5): - Would stay longer if I had the time.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - 5 stars
- Corese (2/5): - Mildew or mold around window. Nothing cleaned not even the sheets. Black hair was on them.
I have pics but can’t share on here.
- robert s (10/5): - Someone should be there in case customer needs attention
- John (10/5): Good room with a great location - The room was clean and comfortable, the location was fantastic, and the price was good.
- Faith (6/5): - We stayed there for two nights. Unsure if room service was supposed to be included but we didn't get any. We got a room with a kitchen, however the kitchen didn't have any utensils. The bathroom was disgusting. There was hair left everywhere in the shower - both on the walls and drain. Only upside was the SUPER COMFY bed. 5 stars for the bed.
- johan (8/5): - Walking distance from beach and downtown.
- ines (6/5): - Close to the see
- Kelly (4/5): - There wasn't any staff onsite. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The shower had obviously not been cleaned. It shows to have a kitchenette but there are no pots and pans or utensils and the mini fridge and small range were filthy. The only good thing about this place was the location.
- David (2/5): - Very unrealistic accommodations for the amount of money charged per night. Parking was abysmal. Room had small kitchenette that freaked of curry the entire time. Food splatters, fridge leaked all over the floor, no lamps, bugs in shower , stains on bedspread, dirty floor, water disgusting, just overall disgusting. They also never cleaned the room, like ever. How do I not get my room cleaned and restocked for what I paid? Terrible, terrible, terrible
- VERONICA (2/5): - Floors and restrooms were dirty
- Sheila (10/5): - Great place
- Emery (4/5): - There is no staff. You call, someone shows up on a scooter and checks you in. It was way over rated. I give it a 3.
- Lisa (10/5): Fishing palace - The only thing I would change is to put a top sheet on top beds.
- Angela (8/5): Great motel - Booked last min & there were no issues. Prime location if you're going to the beach. Big comfortable bed, ac is cold, water is hot for shower. Everything we needed & would definitely stay again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): No frills convenience - Small mom-and-pop place with very kind owners. The lobby was virtually nonexistent-just a check-in desk open only part-time but owners available by phone. The parking lot had a steep entry for our small car but we came in/out at an angle and it was fine. The lot was narrow, so I don’t know how large trucks/SUVs managed. The room was clean and quiet with a good shower. Looked like it had a recent makeover and was in good condition. The area was very convenient to the traditional downtown and close to the boat harbor. We would stay there again.
- mary jo (10/5): - The distance from the beach; it was waling distance.
- Albert (10/5): Great Location - Great location and reasonably priced.
- Jess (4/5): - Very basic.
- Javier (10/5): - Easy /walkable distsnce to beach
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Excellent location, short walk to Rockport Beach,
Great & friendly customer service, great rates
- Thomas (10/5): - Location
- Celeste (10/5): - Really enjoyed the stay, AC worked perfectly. A bit dusty but it happens just wiped down the counters.
- Phillip (10/5): Consistently a good place to stay - Always a nice stay at Harbor inn.
- Lydiana (10/5): - Cute, quiet little inn right off the beach road. Couldn’t. Ask for more. Rooms were pretty clean
