• Antoniya (10/5): - The property was beautiful and well-maintained. It had a nice terrace with a great view. The pool area was very enjoyable. Everything was very clean and tidy, which made the stay comfortable. The hosts were amazing—always friendly, smiling, and truly wonderful people. They also gave us great recommendations for amazing places to visit during our stay, which made the experience even more special.

A magical place. In a magical village. In the best location there is Anyone who escapes the taxis in August in Greece - and is not afraid of silence, this is the place for them. What makes the place perfect!!! This is the hotel manager Nectarine. A special woman, who is all one big heart and soul. All she wants is for her guests to be pleasant and good - and she is available and takes care of this with full respect. A hotel that is a home for families with small and big children. • PCH (9/5): Udany wypoczynek w miłym otoczeniu. - Hotel jest położony blisko morza i licznych restauracji. Opis apartamentu jest zgodny z rzeczywistością. Pokoje są czyste i zadbane. Obsługa bardzo miła i życzliwa. Do dyspozycji gości niewielki basen. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja a sama miejscowość (Maleme) niewielka i spokojna. Dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania zachodniej Krety. Typowa dla Grecji kanalizacja, ale to tylko drobna niedogodność.

Nous avons un enfant de 2 ans, il y avait énormément de jeux à disposition pour notre enfant. La piscine est super agréable et calme également ! Tout était parfait ! Rien mis à part peu être les escaliers peu pratique avec la poussette, mais ce n’est qu’un petit détail.

Nous nous sommes de suite sentis bien dans notre appartement spacieux, bien équipé et très propre. Nous avons apprécié l'excellente literie et l'environnement calme. La climatisation était efficace et très discrète. Nektaria est une personne exceptionnelle, accueillante et très chaleureuse, aux petits soins pour ses locataires et de très bon conseil.

Der Strand in der Nähe ist direkt auch Ableichort von Schildkröte. Wir hatten den Glück, an einem Abend bei der Spaziergang die kleine Schildkröte zu sehen. L’unica pecca la vasca invece che la doccia ma era comunque comoda da fare

• Vasilii (10/5): Exceptional - I want to go there again! We were meticulous in choosing our hotel and read thousands of reviews. But this hotel exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were very clean, cozy, and comfortable, just like home! Nektaria, the incredibly friendly and caring host, made us want to move in permanently :) Our trip with two children was a huge success, largely thanks to Nektaria's valuable advice and help. The hotel's location is excellent. There are several wonderful restaurants, a supermarket, and a children's playground nearby. The beach is less than a 4-minute leisurely walk away. Without a doubt, this is an ideal place for a family vacation, and we wholeheartedly recommend it! Internet was slow, but I believe this is a common issue.

Close to restaurants, super- and mini market as well as other necessary facilities. Cleanliness of the room, pool and facilities are just excellent. Nektaria is a super nice, friendly, welcoming, serviceminded and exceptionally helpful host.

They were very helpful also with the daily planning with suggestion for escursion etc. The facilities were very clean and tidy. There were some toys in the property that children could play with (ikea kitchen + toy food, some cars, dolls, etc.. and also water and sand toys to borrow for the pool or the beach) and that alone made it a great choice for our toddler son. The property was within 5 minutes walking from the beach and a big supermarket. Just in front of the property, there was a brand new and well kept playground. At the corner of the street there is a delicious taverna/restaurant where we had dinner few times. Nothing, it was a great place to stay.

The pool was a gem which was very well maintained and the apartment well appointed and clean with comfortably firm beds. Highly recommend this property which is a short walk away from a great pebbly swimming beach, super markets and tavernas. Wifi was variable and intermittent.

• Sławek (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great ! Starting from the localisation, close to the beach and nearby taverns. The rooms aren't big, but there is enough space for staying. It is important they are cleaned everyday, with exchange of towels and sheets. The pool is big enough to relax and swim a little bit. And most important - Nectaria is wonderful host. Nothing is too hard for her, she was very helpful with stuff like renting the car or reserving the tickets for the boat trip. Yo can also count on tips for the places to visit or best taverns and restaurants in Maleme and Chania. Thanks for everything Nectaria ! Nothing

She made my f - Super family/kid friendly with everything you need, steps to Beach and Supermarket! The crib and high chairs were perfect for my baby. Quiet and relaxing at night - So many toys for the kids as well as located right in front of a park! Wish there was a microwave to heat up food quickly.
• Helene (10/5): Friendly host, fantastic pool! - Nektaria was so friendly and helpful. She speaks several languages and was available on WhatsApp if we had any questions. The pool is beautiful and everything is really clean. Plenty of toys and floats are provided for free. The AC worked well. We made good use of the kitchenette, which had many amenities like a kettle and sandwich toaster. We liked having 2 balconies to dry off our clothes. It's a family-friendly place! Perhaps a microwave would be useful? It's also worth to bear in mind that the beach nearby is a pebbly beach. We rented a car so we didn't mind as there are plenty of sandy beaches close by. We didn't manage to use wifi in our flat, but that was fine as the 4G is good. The wifi signal around the pool is strong. There are a few restaurants dotted around.

• Viktoriia (10/5): Incredible! - Unfortunately, I couldn't come to Greece, but my husband and mother-in-law were simply delighted with their visit to Solon Apartments! Incredibly helpful staff, who helped us in a short period of time to find even inflatable helium balloons, so as not to go to the birthday party empty-handed. Very convenient location, everything is nearby - a supermarket, restaurants, a beach and a bus stop. Nektaria thank you! • Andrej (10/5): Beautiful accommodation for a perfect break. - All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Very quiet location, with a beautiful pool in the yard. At the same time, they are very close to restaurants with food, very well stocked shops and beach. There is a car park in front of the house, which is rarely occupied. There is also a local bus stop 250m from the house. I highly recommend it for families with children. Nothing, everything was ok.

• Keith (10/5): Lovely place to stay - I have to say that this was a great start to our holiday. We arrived late after 2300 and was met by Christos who helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. The following morning Nektaria was there to give us advise on where to go, where to eat and generally to make sure all was ok with the start of our stay. The accommodation was clean, comfy bed and had what we needed. We had a balcony overlooking the pool to sit down and have our breakfast and late-night drinks. Nektaria and Christos, (brother and sister team) were very attentive to the upkeep of the place, your needs which made our stay here so worthwhile. Highly recommend this place and good value for money. There was nothing we did not like about this place

Our host Nektaria, was the most welcoming and friendly person we have had the pleasure with throughout many years of travelling. She was always reachable and ready to help us, if we needed something. Always had good tips for our trips around Crete. No matter if it was for restaurants, shopping, beaches or any other locations. Solon apartments is definitely a recommendation for families or people who want to discover the beauty of Crete. The location is fantastic for the west of the island. And Nektaria is a great source of information and makes sure you will have the most fantastic of times.

Kom til en nydelig leilighet 50 meter fra stranda Stue, kjøkken, balkong ( t.o.m ) juice og drikke i kjøleskapet når vi ankom. Rent og pent. Super hyggelig vert som stilt opp og hjalp til med alt vi lurte på. Hit skal vi garantert tilbake. Ligger sentralt på Maleme beach med kort vei til supermarked, resturanter, shopping og strand.

• Andrei (9/5): Superb - The apartments are perfect for families, couples and groups that want to stay in one place and have the cosiness of a home. It's clean, close to local stores, tavernas and the seaside. It's a good location for staying in one place if you have to visit most of the island's points of interest (between 30 minutes - 1 hour drive to most of them. (It's a big island and wherever you stay you'll need to rent a car so you can really get the most out of Crete) The host , Nektaria is the most friendly and helpful owner I have ever met. She knows everything you need to know about the island and how to get the most of everything.

And there is one just 3 minutes away called Synka 👍 the apartment is clean and sufficient for a holiday in Greece. Most importantly the host, Nektaria lives up to the nice comments you can read in the other reviews. she is very kind and very friendly. always ready to help ! highly recommended place !👍👍👍👌👌

The host - Nektaria is super nice, and helpful. The bathroom gets very humid and in general it's difficult to dry anything. But perhaps we just had humid weather.
• David (10/5): Exceptional - We had great holidays at Solon Apartments. Mostly thanks to Nektaria our host who was super kind and welcoming. She arranged everything so that we could feel at home with our little daughter. Our apartment was cleaned daily and was super comfy. Airco during hot summer is really helpful.The bed is huge. Swimming pool is delightful after a day discovering Creta. The small pool for children connected to the bigger pool is super practical. It's a small hotel so it's really calm and perfect for families. Supermarket is 5min away by feet and restaurants are across the street. Closest beach wasn't really nice but it's a perfect location to discover the beautiful beaches of Creta (15min to 45min by car). Efkaristo Nektaria for the advises, the help and for our perfect holidays. We will come back ;)

Nektaria is exceptionally helpful, kind, funny and made us feel at home. She helped us plan our day trips, with the booking and with renting a car for a reasonable price (which was brought and picked up from Solon). The location was great with a Supermarket nearby, a nice beach and a selection of nice restaurants/tavernas all in a short walking distance. Great swimming pool with sunbeds around.

• Erika (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful comfortable accomodation, perfect manager Nectaria who provided us useful advices about beaches, restaurants, interesing places near to accomodation I expected sandy beach, there is pebble beach on the shore, than after few steps sand... During our stay was sea with big waves, but it was ok, we could visit other beautiful beaches ...

• Verified traveler (4/5): Sconsigliato - Il soggiorno non è stato di nostro gradimento L 'isola è meravigliosa ma l'appartamento è piccolissimo, la dotazione degli utensili da cucina è ridotta al minimo, la cucina stessa è incastonata nel corridoio, gli scarichi non funzionano bene, i balconi sono stretti, la vista è sui muri delle case circostanti. Il mare non è tra i più belli anche se è vicino alla struttura. La piscina è carina, ma piccola. Insomma ve lo sconsiglio fortemente. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è pessimo. Posso dire che la signora che gestisce è gentile, ma non basta a rendere il soggiorno soddisfacente.
