• Jewell (10/5): - It was a short trip. The concierge was so helpful. We did a hiccup with our room. The door wouldn’t lock. We had already unpacked but concierge was right up there and moved us to another room within minutes. So thankful for their timely attention. No local food places to walk to. The parking was very limited and we hated to bother them to get it out. We had a horrible time with ordering take out. But not the hotels fault
• Amy (6/5): Good value, good facility. Service not up to par and inconsistent (one was exceptional and one very unhelpful, the manag - The rooms were lovely, laundry on site. Location and value were good. There were some management issues and inconsistencies with the staff because management was inadequate. Packages and Instacart orders were delivered next door and all but one person just shrugged and said for me to go try to get into the secure building next door. One staff member knew the code and retrieved my package. There are laundry faculties that run on quarters—but they can’t give you quarters and send you next door. I was left outside at 2am for 20 minutes because the front desk employee was sent to make coffee? The manager didn’t answer her phone or identify herself as an employee of the hotel, then proceeded to throw her front desk employee under the bus.

• Sarah (7/5): Saturday night staff was great even though we had an issue with our room. - The bed was super comfortable which was great. Not a lot of hotels have super comfy beds so this exceeded my expectation! The staff was really nice, especially the girl who was working Saturday night. Saturday night we were unable to get into our hotel room because the card reader on the door wasn't scanning our cards. The girl working came up with us and stated the card reader was dead and needed charged. She was able to give us another room while we waited, but at this point it was already 11:30pm and we were very tired. We got back in our room at 1:30am because my husband went to check the door and the card worked. She said she tried to call us to let us know it finished charging but I didn't have any missed calls so we weren't sure what she meant. She gave us some free snacks though so that was nice. It was a slightly annoying thing to encounter so late at night but the girl was very nice at least.

• Yves (9/5): - Thanks for the warm welcome on the midnight between Saturday and Sunday when the streets were full of football fans! The reception gave me water bottles and Cheez-It! The hotel is near a lot of places you want to see when you visit Indianapolis. Although I think it can do with some updates here and there, the room and the whole building did give me a feeling of being at home and not just in a hotel.

I would have liked to be able to readily identify the attendants better, however. The room was spacious and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast didn’t meet my expectations. It was very awkward accessing the sausage patties, bacon etc. One person had to hold the door to the food cabinet open while someone else had to have the manual dexterity of a contortionist to get a sausage patty out and onto his/her plate. Not everything was ready. Slow coming out. The area outside the hotel got sketchy very quickly as the sun went down.

• Cambrian (7/5): Good value for traveling with family, with kitchen facilities. - Nice breakfast with ample hot food options including potato wedges, chicken fingers, sausage, fried eggs, and bacon. Real dishes and kitchenware in the room. Rudimentary pool but the children loved it. Nice location within walking distance of many restaurants including those on Mass Ave. Room carpet looked a bit dated. Cleaning solution used in the hallway was strong-smelling. No self-parking option, only $42/overnight valet (you could use an app to find cheaper parking nearby). Room had a window but the window did not face outside, but instead revealed another part of the hotel. Sofa bed was quite uncomfortable.

• Diana (8/5): Everything besides paying for curbside parking and breakfast was good - This was a beautiful place to stay. I didn’t like the extra $50 added for parking. That should be included as an amenity in the price. Breakfast looked amazing until I sat down after fixing my plate and the food was COLD!!! I looked for a microwave to heat it up but didn’t see one….eggs and Canadian bacon aren’t good that way. I’m to hesitant to come back.

• Joe (8/5): - The room was clean and the breakfast was nice. The location limited the windows, resulting in the lighting in the room not as adequate as should be. The bathroom seemed somewhat current but the shower door was not easy to operate and the shower head seemed old. The kitchen and bathroom faucets did not seem affixed allowing them to move/wiggle. While being downtown, I understand the challenge on parking, but only valet was a bit inconvenient and the rate should be communicated upfront (Expedia) to base location selection a bit more complete.

• Lisa (6/5): - The room was ok, but their was only valet parking, the staff was not friendly, and the breakfast food was cross contaminated with gluten, so I couldn't eat anything. The motel is in a very busy part of the city. We weren't aware that there wouldn't be a parking lot, or that we wouldn't have access to our car, so weren't prepared to be left on the sidewalk with what we could grab while a stranger drove off with our car. After a long day of travel, this was a very unwelcome ending.

Alot of wallpaper peeling, rust on the door frames, black mold around the windows, wall light fixtures were loose, bed felt like multiple platforms put together that were not level or flush, window treatment torn and missing its molding. The bathtub had black mold and was missing the soaps inside the wal dispensers. The pool water was not chemically balanced, made my kids barf all night. Breakfast meats were cheap, soggy and undercooked.

The shower especially. Perfect water pressure. We had the best help when we were trying to leave with the valet guy (Zack). He was super kind & went above & beyond helping us get our car & luggage in a spot where we could load it when the police had closed off most streets for the parade. Thank you Zack! You were earning your keep for sure!

• Annie (2/5): - Save your money — this hotel is a disappointment. Mold in the body wash dispenser, a flooding toilet, and a broken hair dryer were just the start. After complaining, we were moved to a downgraded room. Breakfast had no food available. Many things simply don’t work here. Look elsewhere for a better stay.

• Jill (8/5): Close to Gainbridge! - This hotel was the perfect spot for our event at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Only a 10 min walk and very convenient. We were slightly disappointed in the condition of the room though. The shower drain was clogged and didn't drain much water, the shower head needed cleaned and was a hard jet of water, and the bathroom door frame was broken. There was a mossing lamp shade in the room too. The sleeper sofa also smelled of urine. We think it was the cushions themselves, not the bed part because we smelled it upon sitting down. Thankfully we didn't need to use it though. All these things just added up throughout the stay and just made it less appealing. The breakfast was delicious and free, but there needed to be more staff assisting with stocking food during the busy Saturday morning rush.

• Phana (10/5): - Every staff we encounter is friendly and helpful. There was loose stuff in our room, like the toilet paper roller kept coming off the wall.

• Crystal (8/5): - I would not recommend sleeping on the pull out couch bed. There is a very uncomfortable bar that lines up with your back and side. But other than that it was a very nice and convenient to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
• Meghann (8/5): - The options within walking distance for food and bars were excellent. However, our room was not in the best condition. The walls were in terrible shape and the floors did not look clean. I will say, the room was incredibly spacious.

• Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Location and staff were very nice! Parking is a little expensive but the valet was very professional and nice.
• Amber (10/5): - Overall great stay. Clean property with friendly/helpful staff. Located in a nice part of town that is close to almost everything needed. Would recommend, and will likely visit again.

• Wright (8/5): Just OK but good walking distance to stadium. - The room was nice. Everything seemed clean. Beds were too soft. I Was not happy about the parking. It was stated on my bill that the valet was $36 and when I got there it was $47. They said that Booking.com was wrong and that they have not changed it in their system. I decided to bite the bullet under the premise that at least my car would be parked in the hotel garage and be watched, but it was only parked in a lot behind the hotel. So I basically paid $47- $57 with tip for them to park the car behind the hotel in a lot.
• Gabriela (8/5): Nice place - Very clean place. Valet parking. Very poor breakfast.
• Theresa (4/5): - The quality of the beds is poor. They are super cheap. The walls are very thin, and sound travels.. There was a party in a room next to us, and I called the front desk at 3:10AM, but nothing was done. It was not addressed and the noise continued until 4:30AM.
• Becky (8/5): Very good - Excellent location. Came to town for Fever games. We were within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Valet staff were exceptional. Breakfast was disappointing. Minimal selection and if you were not early, there was little left over.
• Heather (6/5): - There was an unpleasant smell throughout the building. The beds were comfortable but our room was very humid and the AC unit was very loud. There was hair on our bathroom floor that wasn’t ours.
