• Cynthia (10/5): - The property is spacious and beautiful. Guests can wander around and relax in many of the spaces. There are beautiful horses, alpacas and dogs, all of whom are loved and well cared for. The rooms are clean and welcoming. Guests can use the refrigerator, kitchen utensils, and coffee and tea makers in the large dining area. The host, Pascal, is lovely and provides a warm welcome, and is nearly always available to converse, advise and suggest. We would happily return to La Petit Fourchon!

Spacious comfortable rooms and common area. Large pool out near the pasture with views of the owner’s (Pasquel) white horses. Fabulous breakfast - breads, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, various coffees, juices etc. we ate on the terrace. Everyone in our group of 8 adults (couples) loved it. Would highly recommend! Bathroom the largest I’ve seen in Europe, with separate wc, always a plus. Pascale is a most gracious host, breakfast simple but delicious; fantastic orange marmalade and strawberry jam.

• Anne (10/5): - The first thing you see when you turn into the gates of Mas Petit Fourchon are the massive centuries-old trees, filled with birds. The estate is old too, elegant and comfortable. Nature is all around you, but so are books, comfortable furniture and nice people. Each day begins with a fabulous breakfast of fresh bread, cheeses, yogurt, fruit and very good coffee. Pascale, the owner, has limitless energy and animals of all kinds, including big, sweet dogs and white horses. The Mas is close to Arles and La Camargue making it convenient for getting out and doing things but we found ourselves just wanting to just stay ‘home’ instead. Of all the places we stayed during our two weeks in France, this one was the hardest to leave.

• Gillian (10/5): - A wonderful experience from the moment Pascale warmly greeted us and kindly provided us with bread and cheese as we had arrived late due to bouchons on the A7. Conversing in both French and English
• Verified traveler (10/5): Worth going out of the way for! - Más Petit Fourchon was difficult for us to find due to error in Google maps. We finally arrived, just at dark, and after becoming thoroughly familiar with the nearby hospital parking layout. We gave up on Google’s turn by turn directions, and used Google maps without the directions. We were greeted by an upbeat and friendly Pascole, the owner, at a closed gate at end of a dirt road. Mas Petit Fourchon is definitely not within easy walking distance to restaurants or Arles. That said, the property and 300 year old building are beautiful. Be sure to spend time exploring the grounds. Our tile floored room was very large but with lousy lighting and, oddly, a toilet room across the entry hall from bathroom and sinks/shower. No actual shower, instead there was a bathtub, installed backwards, with the drain on opposite end as fill spout and handheld sprayer with too short a hose to stand while showering if over 5’10”.The shower/tub needs a longer hose for the handheld shower, and at least one grab bar, especially for those of us who prefer showering, and whose balance isn’t what it used to be. The pillows were square and hard, but surprisingly comfortable, as was the bed. I personally appreciated the simple blanket and sheet for warmth as opposed to the thick comforters that are often too hot and yet so popular in hotels these days. A simple and satisfying breakfast was included with our room. It included a variety of breads, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, jams, tea and coffee. No meat.
• Cheryl (10/5): Highly recommended - We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. It was close enough to explore Arles but also had the feel of a quiet sanctuary. The best part, however, is Pascale, the sweet owner. She is so friendly and personable and even went the extra mile to have something returned to us that we left in the room. She is wonderful!

The rooms were large, with plenty of clothes storage space, nice bathroom fittings (although a hook for the shower head is needed on the tiled wall) and views across the garden. Breakfast was delicious and Pascale bought fresh bread and croissants every morning. There were tea/coffee facilities and a fridge for guest use. We could use the enormous lounge room for a glass of wine in the evening.

• Karen (10/5): A Lovely, Peaceful Accomodation - The Mas Petit Fourchon was a lovely place to stay. Outside the city of Arles, it was a peaceful location. The breakfast provided was delicious and plentiful. The proprietress was friendly, helpful and welcoming. A plus was that the windows had screens. Much needed in this area with many mosquitos. We will definitely return.

• Sydney (10/5): Van Gogh's Provence - The main purpose of our five nights at Mas Petit Fourchon was to visit as many of VVG sites as possible. We accomplished our goal and more. Patrice's old farmhouse was our headquarters and also served as a quiet, peaceful haven at the end of each busy day. Arles is, of course, filled with VVG locations as well as some fine museums. Combined with trips to St. Remy, Abbaye de Montmajour, Saintes Maries de la Mer and Beaucaire we came away with a deeper feeling for VVG's last few years and his tremendous production of major masterpieces. Patrice is a great source of local information and provided an excellent breakfast to go along with our beautiful spacious room.

• Verified traveler (10/5): A one of a kind stay! - The stay at Mas Petit Fourchon was like every vision I had ever had about a French BnB in the countryside. Conveniently close to Arles, beautiful accomodations and grounds, and Pascale, the owner, was so kind and wonderful! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very quiet, other than the periodic bangs during the night of the adjacent rice farmer scaring off the birds from his fields. • edward (10/5): - We passed five wonderful days at Mas Petit Fourchon. An absoutely fanstastic Chambre d'Hotes. Perfectly situated on the outskirts of Arles, 10 minutes from the center. Rooms were beautifully furnished and decorated, breakfast was copious and delicious. The grounds were magnificent, 40 hectares of lawn, fields, and shaded spots for a nice nap. But the best part was the warm welcome from the proprietor. We could not have felt more at home. I cannot recommend Mas Petit Fourchon more highly. You will love it.

The property is extremely peaceful and lovely and our huge room was very comfortable- a real treasure.

The property is beautiful with a lovely pool and tranquil, bucolic grounds . The only small suggestion is that the breakfast quality could be improved (more fresh fruit, better quality cheeses and perhaps offer some cold cuts or eggs); but the other positives were so many that this was easily forgotten. Highly recommended for a stay in a lovely region of France- Arles and Le Camargue. Thank you Pascale !

Has a awesome bathtub, views and huge rooms!! Breakfast was awesome! Location is perfect as it is a short drive with easy parking in Arles! Visit the museum and the Roman amphitheater and colosseum as you feel you are in Rome!! Pascal is an amazing owner/host! Only 4 rooms are rented in a secluded 300 year old farm with an awesome heated outdoor pool!

Our host Pascale was perfect, speaks 5 languages well, and provided good tips and information about the area. The breakfasts were great with different local breads a speciality. A refrigerater and basic cooking facilities were provided in the mas for guests if you wished to eat in and the mosquitoes were not a problem if you take simple precautions... and we were there in late August/early Sept.

• Zarmine (8/5): wonderful 2 days - A beautiful, hotel in a quiet converted farmhouse. Run by a gracious woman who will go out of her way to make your stay comfortable. Our enormous bedroom was so comfortable and cool. The view from our window was green and picture perfect. It's a great place, away from the noise of the city to have a family holiday. The pool was a great advantage too! Highly Recommend

Our room was large, cool and very comfortable and having the use of the large, charming, air-conditioned salon, along with the kitchen for preparing a bite of lunch or supper was really appreciated. We were able to save some money by not eating out twice a day. The pool is beautiful too and the location, set in the farmland outskirts, made this beautifully restored farmhouse the perfect place to come home to, after exploring Arles, Aix en Provence, The Camargue and The Med (only 25 mins away). Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Like from another time, the house was fascinating with its original beams, thick walls and historic details. We enjoyed modern conveniences with comfortable beds, free wifi and an updated bathroom. The grounds were magical, and we adored the dogs. The pool was clean and refreshing as well. Our host, Pascale, recommended the perfect restaurants, made reservations at a beach club on the Mediterranean, and supplied proper beach towels for our day trip. She also tried to assist with our no-show shuttle issue back in Paris – as je parles un peu Francaise! This Cali family hopes to some day return to Mas Petit Fourchon. It's so worth a repeat!

Open fields spreading to distant hedgerows, sheep and horses grazing and even a couple of alpacas. The rooms were magnificent. Pascale, the Owner/innkeeper was beyond gracious. I wish it was not a cliche, but she treated us like family - and I usually hate it when someone tries to do that. She made our stay absolutely memorable.

Just outside of Arles (a short car ride to the center or a 40 min walk), Mas Petit Fourchon is a lovely grand renovated house, surrounded by greenery, animals and nature. It is as quiet as it can get and here one can find the space to relax. We got the biggest room and it was very comfortable, with a huge private bathroom. We had access to a very nice pool, which was essential to cool down after a walk into town or a drive in the south discovering something. There was a delightfully slow atmosphere and it really was a pleasure to be there (5 nights in total). The breakfast was something I was looking forward to every morning, as it was absolutely delicious. And Pascal, the owner, couldn't have been more friendly, and helpfull and overall a better host than what she was. Perfect base to explore the south of France!

• Verified traveler (10/5): The host, the breakfast, and the pool - Pascal is one of the nicest host i’ve met. She is always busy doing things , keeping the place neat and in order. Guests comfort is her priority.
• Ethan (10/5): Excellent B&B near Arles - Great pool, peaceful garden and caring owners. Room was lovely and large, a suite really. Bathroom excellent with separate shower. Easy access to Arles.

• Anderson (10/5): - There’s a lot of ways to experience Provence but staying in Mas Petit Fourchon made ours a most wonderful and unforgettable one. The host, Madam Pascal, was very welcoming and helpful, and provided us with many useful local traveling advices. If you would like to stay in Ariles in a local way, this is definitely the #1 go-to for you.
• David (10/5): Dreams Come True Here!! - Dreams come true at Mas Petit Fourchon! Pasqual, the owner has 300 year old elegant home she graciously shared with her guests. You have complete privacy in the largest guest rooms we’ve ever stayed in during our travels. A beautiful heated pool to lounge by, and she provides a warm tasty breakfast cheerfully presented. You may want to skip sightseeing and just stay “home”!!!
• j (10/5): Pascal is the sweetest host! - We wanted a quiet place in the French countryside and this farmhouse was perfect! We could relax and watch the horses (and llamas) from many areas. Breakfast was nice with fresh bread and pastries.
• Michael (10/5): Beautiful Hideaway - Beautiful location in the countryside yet just a 5 minute drive into Arles. Very friendly owner, excellent breakfast and easy access to popular sites. Would stay there again without a doubt. Our room was huge in chateau style - high ceilings solid old furniture etc
• Barb and Mark (10/5): Close to Arles, in a serene setting - Take exit 6 off the motorway and follow the signs to the hospital- At that point you will start to see signed to Was Petite Fourchon. A lovely B&B close to the city, but out in the country. There are horses, alpaca and two very friendly dogs that make you feel right at home. The rooms are spacious and the hostess makes you feel like family. breakfast on the patio is memorable.We definitely would recommend this B&B to friends.
• Ellen (10/5): Elegance in the countryside! - Our stay was wonderful! Pascale was the the perfect hostess, offering ideas for outings and much hospitality in addition to a lovely breakfast. The grounds were lovely and peaceful, the rooms elegant and spacious. We also loved the dogs, cats, horses, and llamas! A lovely respite from the city.
• Rebecca (10/5): Fantastic - Our room and bathroom were quite spacious and lovely. Pascal was an outstanding hostess helping us find restaurants, a doctor, and everything we were interested in seeing. Breakfast was delicious and she was very accommodating for our gluten intolerance. Unfortunately we became ill on our trip, but this was a most relaxing and welcoming farmhouse. We could not have been more pleased. We hope we can return.
• James (10/5): Peaceful setting. - It was a wonderful place. Our hostess was great. The room was very large. The bathroom was huge. All were updated. Very clean. The grounds were great. Quiet.Within a few miles of central Arles and easy drive to Avingon/Nime/Les Baux/Pont duGard. We would highly recommend it.
• alicia (10/5): Welcome warmth in Provence - Staying here was a highlight during our 3 weeks in France. Pascale, her husband Antonio, the cats/dogs/alpacas are incredibly welcoming. Pacale makes amazing homemade jam for breakfast! We don't know why we ever left!
• Sean (10/5): Country feel near the city of Arles - This was a great hub from which to launch our exploration of Provence. Only 5-7 mins from Arles and less to major highways, the location is really great. It's a little funny to get there the first time, but when you do, you find it is delightful. The farm house was completely remodeled (gutted?) and it beautifully maintained. Pascale (owner/propietor) is very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is continental and very bread-based, but always friendly and fun. We highly we recommend this gem
• Angela (10/5): Wonderful farmhouse near Arles - Mas Petit Fourchon is absolutely lovely. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here for a week and it was a great jumping off point for day trips around Provence, the Carmargue, and the Valcluse all of which were 30 - 60 minutes away by car. The owner, Pascale is super friendly and helpful as was her husband Antonio. My daughter loved the friendly dogs and watching Pascale care for her horses. The farmhouse is charming and our room was quite large. It was a bit warm while we were there so we did have to turn on the AC in our room but the heated pool was a great way to cool off as well. The breakfasts were delicious. I highly recommend Mas Petit Fourchon.
• Mark (10/5): Perfect hideaway - The hotel and grounds are gorgeous. Pascale and Antonio, the owners welcome you and tray you like friends and guests of honor. Our suite of rooms was a surprise, as were the modern shower and window screens. We would return in a heartbeat

• sandra (10/5): Wonderful place - Pasquel goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and really looks after you.Excellent breakfast in lovely breakfast room with outside area if weather permits.Good pool overlooking countryside and horses,would have loved to have spent time by the pool if weather had been better.Great base here for seeing nearby towns,I recommend staying a week if you can,highly recommended.
