Guest Reviews
- Denys (8/5): BON ACCEUIL - Chambre grande mais il n'y a pas grand chose . Personnel très sympathique ..
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice and peaceful hotel away from the noisy part of the island.
Close to the north beaches, great for sunset evenings on the beach :)
great breakfast and friendly staff. If it's too hot when you arrive on the island, you should take a horse ride to get to the hotel. Overall it's great
- Andrew (6/5): Off the beaten track plain and simply escape - Indigenous is fine if you know what you are expecting.... The staff are nice, friendly and chilled. This place is at the top of the island so if you arrive on the boat with heavy bags I highly recommend getting a horse & cart- we paid IDR 100,000 the first trip but did pay as less as IDR 50,000 one day! It might also be hard to find the first time you go alone...we used the orange cafe on the corner as our landmark so we didn't end up in someone else's house! Take a torch for those night time walks getting home.
It is off the beaten track a bit which is nice to be out of the really lairy main part- be warned it is a good 20-25 min walk to the places to eat and the outstanding local food market. The top part of the island is much nicer and family orientated. The island is small though so it's not that awful to walk around!
The bed was very comfortable, clean and the room well kept. EXCELLENT Air Con- we were those awful westerners that utilise it for a good nights sleep....! The bathroom is pretty grim and needs updating but at this budget and location it is expected. It is still useable and the showers is fully refreshing and cleansing to get rid of all the sand from the day. Take a nice shower gel and maybe your own fresh towel....!
We didn't actually use the pool or have breakfast as we were up and out each day to the beach! They both looked nice! A refreshing arrival juice is served which was very welcome.
- Yohann (8/5): - Les Proprietaire étaient très à l'écoute de nos besoins. Excellente ambiance familiale.
- Tanja (2/5): Worst hotel ever!!!! Never again - It was just horrible! We planed to stay there for 3 nights but we left the hotel after less than a day. It starts with the way to the hotel. In the middle of nowhere and dirt everywhere. There are cockroaches in the rooms and the bathroom is just disgusting.
