Foi uma decepção chegar no local e ver que tem um restaurante aberto no segundo piso, jogando odor e gordura por todo quarto. Além disso, ficamos esperando meia hora para aparecer alguém para servir o café da manhã. Na hora do banho, não havia água quente e o gerente não dizia que tinha acabado o Gás (incrível). Bom, não recomendamos.
• Rodolfo (6/5): Nice accommodation for the price - Perfect location in the heart of the Pueblo. Easy access to/from the train station and to/from bus to Machu Picchu. Room is equipped with basic toiletries. The best thing is, it has hot water which most of the travelers have been complaining in other accommodations. Upon checking out, you can leave your luggage while enjoying the rest of your day until your scheduled departure time. Staff are very accommodating. I was not able to try the breakfast though.

• Atilio (6/5): - El hotel estaba con remodelaciones y no funcionaba todo, el desayuno muy pobre solo café y pan. La internet con muchos cortes igual la atención fue muy buena y dedicados para ayudar.

Staff could be more flexible with breakfast times, as everyone is up early (4am) for Machu Pichu, but they only provide food from 6 and no costumary take away when out of hours, as per other hotels. Apart from that, super comfortable and central.

• Andrea (6/5): Muy Mala atención del encargado - La ubicación no es mala,la habitación es muy chica no teníamos agua caliente para bañarnos cuando le pedíamos al encargado nos miraba y seguía sentado en la mesa sin dar curso a nuestro pedido fue un irrespetuoso tampoco pudimos desayunar , nos dijo que todo salia caro y nos negó un saquito de café,los fiambres estaban llenos de moscas tienen un gato que sube por todos lados para nada higiénico, está al lado de un gimnasio donde practican deportes y ensayos de eventos musicales que es imposible descansar, la verdad muy enojada por el trato del encargado.Nunca recomendaría alojarse ahi.
• nonf (6/5): 場所は便利だけれどホットシャワーが出なかった - スタッフに「シャワーを出して5分経ったらお湯が出るから」と言われ、5分で確かにお湯は出たが、1分経たずにまた水に戻った。 場所は大変便利な場所にある。 隣が学校で、自然の景観などは窓からは見られない。 スタッフは英語がほとんど喋れないが優しい。 朝5時にマチュピチュへ出発だったが、言えば朝ご飯をタッパーに用意してくれた。

• Verified traveler (6/5): - O hotel é bem limpo, bem localizado. Como saímos bem cedo para machu picchu, foi feito um kit lanchinho para levarmos. E não volta de Machu Pichu, um banho é imprescindível, foi cobrado 10 soles. Muitas pousadas em Aguas Calientes não oferece esse serviço. Único ponto ruim da pousada é que ouve-se muito barulho no quarto, tanto vindo da recepção, quando barulho externo. QUem tem sono leve é bem ruim dormir.

If the hotel can improve, that can be much better. Breakfast is so simple, just a coffee and bread or some tea. Staffs is nice. Everything is acceptable.
• Nicole (4/5): Disappointing - Big signs outside that you can pay with credit card, but then I was told that it's not possible! The room has an old, dingy feel to it, but the absolute worst was that there was no hot water!!! It's close to the train station, at least...

• Soledad Andrea (6/5): - No pudimos hospedarnos aquí porque nos estaban esperando para comunicarnos que nos iban a pasar a otro hotel porque empezaba la Fiesta del Pueblo e iba a durar hasta las 04 hs de la noche y no íbamos a poder dormir .... Entonces nos mandaron al Hotel Royal In... del otro lado del pueblo en el centro, donde están todos los Restaurantes.. No pude estar en el Hostal Wachuma!!!

• Alex (10/5): Great place to stay for Machu Picchu! - Excellent location, great service, and everything seemed clean. I would stay here again if I was to visit Machu Picchu. The hotel held our luggage while we were at MP and they even packed us a lunch for the day which was very nice. Great location right along the river and we had great views of the mountains from our room.
• Marie-Eve (10/5): Perfect hostel & amazing staff! - The room was clean, the view was amazing, the shower had hot water, it was a perfect stay. But what has impressed us the most, is the friendly staff who were very polite and helpful. We want to thank once again Ronaldo who has had prepared us two lunch bags with breakfast for our trip to Machu Picchu! This is a hotel we highly recommend!
• William (6/5): Good room/value but noise level out of control - The room and bed were good for the price. They prepared a snack for my early departure, held my bag while I was gone during the day, and allowed me to sit in their common area and use wifi while waiting on my train. However, the noise level was a problem. The local school band decided to practice the same song over and over for 2 hour right outside my window and after that was complete the hotel hosted a shamanic ritual with some guy yelling at the top of his lungs and banging a gong for at least another hour. This didn't work out well since I had to be at the Machu Picchu bus stop at 4:30am.

• Marina (8/5): Para uma noite foi o que precisava! - A localização do hostel é muito boa. Quarto simples. Cama boa. Chuveiro quente. Preparam um Lunch box simples para saída antes das 5h (ônibus para Machu Picchu). Achei um pouco barulhento (área externa) e quarto muito claro (cortinas finas). Construção parece um puxadinho. Para uma noite foi ótimo. Pagamento em dinheiro.

• Naing (8/5): - Everything was good, from the room to nearby places, restaurants, bus stop, market, train station. Would definitely stay again if ever go back.
• Bianca (8/5): Convenient - Its great for one night although you have to check on cleaningness of sheets. Tom was very helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay as nice as possible. Since its 5 minutes from the train station it was very convenient. Break fast is very basic but served the purpose.

• Kelly (6/5): - The best thing about this hotel is its location right in town, less than a five minute walk to the bus up to Machu Picchu. Our room was tidy but we found a huge mold problem in the bathroom. Breakfast was also pretty limited, consisting of coffee/tea and a basket of pastries. The hotel definitely isn't something to write home about but if you're just at Machu Picchu for one or two nights then it does the job.
• NGT (6/5): マチュピチュ観光のベースに - マチュピチュ駅からみやげ物屋街を抜けてすぐ、駅から徒歩５分です。 マチュピチュ遺跡行きバス停にも５分ほどなので、場所はよいと思います。 マチュピチュ遺跡へは、朝早くの出発なので、朝食をランチボックスにしてもらえました。 ホテル自体や部屋は可もなく不可もなくかなとおもいます。 人なつこいかわいい猫がいます。

• Verified traveler (6/5): Good location very close to train station - The hotel is basic but adequate enough if you only plan to stay one or two nights in Aguas Calientes. Shopping and restaurants are all close by and we enjoyed our stay. We woke early to join the bus queue for Machhu Picchu at 0530 which was good timing as the queue builds very quickly. Breakfast was simple but on the early morning for our trip they provided a packed breakfast which was appreciated. We stayed for 2 nights and would recommend the Wachuma based mainly on location.

• Adrianna (10/5): Cozy, friendly and convenient place to stay - My stay at this cozy bed and breakfast was perfect for my needs. I was there to explore this historic place and needed a safe place to sleep that was close to both train and bus station. Located approximately 3 blocks from train station and across the street from the bus ticket booth and bus station. This place offers all that plus a friendly, helpful staff that will point you in the right direction and comfortable walk around town. Small enough to walk around everywhere and plenty of restaurants, markets for water and other misc items and shops for souveniers Breakfast consisted of while fruit, yogurt, bread, cheese and meat slices and made to order eggs, coffee, juice and tea. If you want a clean cozy and basic place to stay, this is your place.
• João (6/5): Hotel ok por uma noite. - O hotel está em reformas, os degraus das escadas são grandes e as janelas são vidraças. Não há problema caso você vá a Machu Picchu cedo, quando tudo está escuro, mas a cortina não é suficiente para tapar totalmente a luz. Fica atrás de uma escola.
• Lise et Johanne (8/5): Hotel près de tout - Ma soeur et moi avons appréciée l'hotel qui est près des boutiques resto guichet et surtout en face de la file pour aller prendre l'autobus. Le petit déjeuner était très bon fruits petit pain oeufs jus café. De l'eau chaude était disponible aussi. Petit déjeuner pour apporter dans l'autobus. Pour la douche l'eau était très chaude et abondante. Un peu de bruit le soir car ma chambre donnait sur la cour d'école et les adultes jouait au hand ball. Bien dormie la nuit. On peut acheter des bouteilles d'eau sur place, Nous le recommandons
• Stephen (8/5): Machu Picchu Nest - A desk chair for the "desk" would be nice. All staff were great. Fun watch cat - black and white to match the entry sofas and pillows. Fresh whole fruit, yogurt, bread, coffee, juice, and eggs cooked as you like them - all together make a satisfying breakfast before heading out to explore the heritage site. Guides will provide an "interesting" explanation - qualified with "nobody knows" or "quien sabe". (Where are the mosquitos that we were warned about?) You should know that there is a school next door - which you may find entertaining or noisy, depending upon your attitude toward playful youth. Restaurants in AC are pretty good and priced fair. Pizza at Los Andes was very good, and the menu del dia at Las Inkas Pub was quite good - best Trout that we have had in Peru! Don't forget that you're in a tourist trap. The souvenir vendors (who I refer to as Walmart) all have the same junk. Save your money for the fair trade store in Ollanta - where you can buy something a bit more genuine - and the money goes to the artisan.
• Cristiano C (4/5): Bem localizado mas barulhento e sem cama de casal - Nossa experiência foi mediana. Nosso primeiro problema foi na chegada. O hostal mandou email dizendo que nos encontraria na estação de trem e quando chegamos por lá, aguardamos cerca de meia hora e ninguém apareceu. Outro problema foi com as camas. Quando fomos fechar a hospedagem ofereciam cama de casal e quando chegamos lá, nos ofereceram um quarto com duas camas de solteiro separadas. Ao questionarmos, o dono respondeu que não possui cama de casal no hostal. Ou seja: ele promete algo que não tem. Quarto e banheiro limpos, mas muito simples. O café da manhã foi muito simples também. O lugar é muito barulhento: atrás dos quartos existe uma quadra esportiva e as crianças não paravam de correr. Um ponto positivo é que nos orientaram sobre a compra de passagens do ônibus e do melhor horário para irmos até Machu Picchu.
• Hiroshi (2/5): 駅とバス停に近いだけの価値。 - 建物は一見して安普請そのもの。最上階は壁が無く、トタンの屋根の下に洗濯物が翻っていた。予約していなかったらまず避ける外観。13時に到着したが、受付には誰もおらず、声をかけ人を呼んだら、いきなり部屋は無いと言われた。予約している旨伝えると、責任者らしき人物が、パソコンを持って現れ、受付で電源を入れ確認し、ようやくチェックインできた。外出時、また人を探し、鍵を預けようとしたら、無人の受付カウンターの籠に入れる様に言われた。戻った時も、鍵は、無人の受付カウンターの籠より自主的に持って行くシステム。こんなひどいセキュリティーの宿は、人生数千泊で初めての経験。
• RAUL (6/5): Sólo para una noche. - Es un hotel muy básico. Personal amable. Cama incómoda. Relación costo vs servicio es costoso.
• HIROTAKA (6/5): 駅近で便利です。 - ペルーレイルの駅から近く、食事を周りでするにも便利です。 まあ、マチュピチュなので仕方ないと思いますが部屋はベッドでいっぱいで狭いです。 シャワーはお湯がしっかり出るので良いかと思います。
• Emily (10/5): Excelente ubicación y servicio - Excelente lugar con servicio muy bueno! Un experiencia perfecto. Están ubicado cerca de muchos restaurantes, el estación de buses a subir a MP, y el estación de trenes. Rico y completo desayuno - no solo pan y mermelada! Bueno servicio con dueños muy atentativos.
• Urpi (10/5): Amabilidad en la atención - Fui con mi pareja y nos recibieron amablemente, nos atendieron muy bien desde que llegamos. No tenemos ninguna queja y por supuesto lo recomendaríamos a cualquiera. Los desayunos fueron muy buenos y sobre todo la atención del encargado que fue amable en todo momento y se aseguraba de que estuvieramos bien.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Exceptional service with good location - Average room with a good location if you plan to take the bus up to Machu Picchu. It's less than 5 mins walk from the bus station. The service by Elias (not sure if it's spelt correctly) was exceptional. He picked me up from the train station and ensured everything throughout my stay was ok.
• William (8/5): - Señora Rosa provided very good service. The free breakfast included coffee, tea, juice, eggs, bread and jam. Hostal Wachuma is next to a school, which is noticeable in the morning. Some hot water in the shower, but does not last long. Overall, the hostel is a good place to stay and fairly priced.
