- Jessica (6/5): - We stayed for one night 2 bed room with 2 of my kids. The room was adequate, but the air conditioner/fan was just a window unit in the wall that was so obnoxiously loud. The bathroom was clean but in dire need of updates and that fan was also incredibly loud. The beds were hard and the pillows flat and uncomfortable. Overall will not be returning. It did the job of a place to sleep for the night, although the sleep was uncomfortable.

Bathroom door would not close as it did not fit in frame. Room was not cleaned well. Coffee and microwave in lobby only.

The rooms interiors and comforters were very dated. Shower pressure was terrible. Plenty of hot water but no pressure at all. Otherwise it was clean enough and the staff was friendly.

This is a perfect location if you are going to the water park. The large screened porch is great for drying towels and swimsuits after going to the water park or using the indoor pool. The motel is dated and in desperate need of upgrades but comfortable enough. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

- Shannon (6/5): - Clark's was ok. When we first arrived the room was hot & smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Once we got the AC on, the smell wasnt as noticeable. I'm not sure how well they clean. I pulled the blankets back & found a pair of used socks peeking out from under the bed & a bright yellow toy between the bed & nightstand. The shower has tons of little cracks by the drain. In the very dim light it looked like tons of little hairs stuck there, but after shining my phone light on it I decided it was cracks. The knob of the shower that turns the water on/off falls right off & that made it difficult. When we mentioned to the desk they acted surprised but if the maids clean the tub there is no way they didnt know about it. Also the outside ice machine is broken so you can only get ice during the hours the office is open. The beds weren't super comfortable but Ive been in worse. The sheets were very soft. The pool was very clean. Overall it's a basic, ok place to grab a few hours of sleep & quick shower.

A hair dryer would have been great, not also not a big deal. It’s been a very long time since I’ve stayed here and this was a great re-introduction.

The beds weren't very comfortable, the pillows were bad, and even thoughbthe thermostat said 70 degrees, it felt like 85 degrees by the end of the night. Just make sure if you don't like a toasty room, turn down the thermostat to like 60. The customer service was great! The pool was clean and warm. It's a very cute, rustic place, just not as comfortable as we would have liked.

- Jeannine (6/5): Not convenient for snowmobiling - We had to park our truck and trailer off the property in a separate location which was very inconvenient. We had to get up early to leave but had to be inconvenienced to first ride a snowmobile to the location of our truck/trailer and load up then come back and pack our gear. The woman at the front desk was less than friendly when I called to inquire about their cancellation policy. We wanted to bring our truck and small trailer back at 11 pm because we needed to leave early the next morning and we parked where others could get around right in front of our room and they called us out immediately—not friendly at all. We will not stay there to snowmobile. I will say that it was frigid outside and they had the room nice and warm. The quality of the sheets were very nice as well.

- Julia (10/5): - This was a busy time for the motel, as it was the solar eclipse. Management and the people working could not have been more kind and accommodating! I I took off a couple stars for comfort because the room was super stuffy. But it wasn’t quite air conditioning season yet, so that can be hard to gauge. It’s a great location, so close to everything. So much is within walking distance! Highly recommend!

The screened in porch overlooking 1st lake was the best and we sat out there soaking in the serenity for a while. Coffee, meals and stores are all in walkable distance. The room was quiet and the beds comfortable. Gotta say the best shower water pressure we have found on our week long motorcycle trip! Love this hotel and we are already planning a return trip here in the fall and again during next June's bike trip again!
- Debra (8/5): 70th birthday celebration - We had an amazing weekend despite the crappy weather we started with. The lake view from the porch area was beautiful and relaxing. We had the pool area to ourselves. Location could not be better. Park, shopping, restaurants all within walking distance even for my 70 year old mom. The rooms could use some updates. The bathroom fans were extremely loud and there were no screens in the bathroom window so bugs came in if you opened it. Both rooms in our party ran out of toilet paper Sunday after the office was closed. The room below is had music banging very late Sunday night preventing a good night's sleep.

It was 10:55 am and we were told that there was no late check out and check out was at 11am..which we already were aware of. We also were the only people here. The tone of the call was just not nice. It was not welcoming altogether. We came into after 9..they close office at 9. It was 9:15. They did leave instructions for us.

The double beds were worn out & not comfortable at all. The bathroom definitely needs an update. My main complaint was the front desk staff. Rude, definitely NOT kid friendly. At 10:59 am on our check out day they called &:said “ check out is NOW.. ( no kidding, my daughter was @ the desk with the keys).

- Verified traveler (6/5): Basic Accommodation - Old, dated room. Somewhat musty due to old carpet (stained). No in room coffee maker or microwave, but there was a fridge. Bed was old/soft but linens seemed clean great location and friendly service but would pass next time.
- James (6/5): - The stay was great in the area lot’s of things to do but Clark beach rooms in some TLC bathrooms updates showing age
- Sheila (8/5): - The room was small but nice. We had a Lakeview on the lower level. We had a problem the first night with the stomping on the floor in the room above. They moved us to the room next to it and that was good until the following night with people above us. Floors are VERY creaky. After 1a I finally went up and asked the guy to try to walk softer and stop dropping everything. Thankfully he did. Other than that it was good for the money. Great view too!
