• MAYANK (1/5): I love Switzerland and yes the hostel is good but I never want to go back there because of there staff behavior they are - Hey the property is good I like it and yes I like my stay but as a guest I will be honest here the staff is very rude and bad all are feeling me down everytime all things I will say good but the staff is like kind of bad and I feel like not a helping nature staff is so rude and negative no offense as a freedom of speech feel like they are Racist. I will never go back there again. The staff is so bad touching my belonging and take it away from me my irons is touched by the staff and taken away without my permission it’s an automatic irons and telling me what to do I ask about food and the lady said me you can read it what is written there and beside this other European staff was treated nicely but not me as a Indian American I feel bad and will never go back there just giving a positive feedback to improve it .

• Julia (9/5): Sehr saubere moderne Jugendherberge - Tolle saubere Jugendherberge. Alles recht modern. Die Lage ist auch ganz nett und nicht weit weg von der Innenstadt. Das Frühstück war auch voll okay. In meinem Zimmer war es ganz schön kalt. Es war ein recht kalter Tag und mein Zimmer war sehr groß und die Heizung klein und dadurch dass die meisten anderen Zimmer auch nicht belegt waren, war es einfach kalt.
• Donato (8/5): Ich würde sofort wieder dort buchen. - Einfach und unkompliziert, ruhig und sauber und gut geschlafen. Die anderen Gäste im Zimmer sehr anständig und diskret und keiner hat geschnarcht. Hab's noch nie anders erlebt, hab vielleicht auch einfach Glück gehabt. In einem doppelt und dreifach teureren Hotel schlafe ich auch nicht besser. Dass es eine Bibliothek hat, fand ich super. So konnte ich mein eigenes Buch "Der Schattenjunge" dort platzieren. Das Frühstück ... na ja, geht so. Brot dürfte frischer sein. Erinnert an Klassenlager. Aber ja, es ist eine Jugi und kein Hotel, auch wenn's um's Essen geht, das muss man sich halt bewusst sein. Aber deshalb habe ich kein Abendessen gebucht, weil ich dachte, das wäre dann in der "Qualität" ähnlich wie das Frühstück, und dafür war mir dann der Preis zu hoch. Die Bibliothek dürfte etwas aufgeräumter und attraktiver sein. Sie macht nicht den Eindruck, als würde sie rege genutzt. Die Bücher im Schrank drinnen ganz bestimmt nie. Evtl. ein anderer Standort, im Foyer beim Eingang ein nettes Büchergestell zum Beispiel. Kommt natürlich drauf an, wieviel Wert die Jugileitung auf die Dienstleistung einer Bibliothek legt.

• Elisabeth (8/5): Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. - Die Lage ist super, etwas außerhalb. Ein angenehmer Fußweg über eine uralte Holzbrücke in die Altstadt. Nah beim Hostel, auf dem Weg in die Altstadt, ein sehr schönes Outdoor- Lokal am Fluß. Spezialität Käse- Fondue. Das Personal in der Jugendherberge war sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Beste Sauberkeit. Gute Betten. Ausstattung schlicht und funktional. Parkplatz, der bezahlt werden muss vorm Haus. Von 17-10 Uhr morgens hab ich 8 Euro 50 bezahlt. Für 22 Stunden eher 18,50 bezahlt.

• Janine (9/5): Toll für Gruppen - Freundliche Réception. Tolle Lage. Saubere Zimmer und Duschen. Frühstück ganz OK. Ruhige Lage. Baden ist sehr hübsch und bietet viel: Natur und Beizli und Wellness und kleine Lädeli. Réception war ab 17 Uhr besetzt. Ein, zwei Spiegel mehr in den Schlafzimmern wären praktisch.

• Mohd (6/5): Disappointed - This is village and far from Zurich and if you goto baden to Zurich return ticket was 28 Swiss means 30 Europe 💔 1. The check-in time was exactly 5 pm not before 1 second. 2. Check-out time was 10 am not more than 1 second. 3. No air conditioner in the room. 4. Window was open and too much bee and flying. 5. Take from the ground floor bedsheets and blanket and when you check-out keep it down so disappointed. 6. No Internet on first floor just only ground floor. 7. Too much expensive and far from Zurich and train tickets was soo expensive. 8. No Tawol for shower. 9. No shop or sampu for shower. Disappointed for situation.

• Marc (9/5): Good value for money - Friendly and accommodating, clear communication, very pleasant and clean facilities. The possibility to have a private room with shared bathroom is a nice way to get good value for money. A little way from the centre but easy to reach by bus

• Varun (5/5): Passable - I like only breakfast and the staff provided me with good service. It's too far from the Zurich it's difficult to find the location because I have heavy weight luggage to carry, it's too down from the baden bridge. There was bed bugs also in my room, Last but not least they said you have to give me 6 CHF if i already paid the full amount why they charge me extra money.

But if you have a lot of luggage and you’re using public transport, then it’s complicated because of climbing down the stairs, other than that all round good.

• Cristian (10/5): Super Hostel in Baden - Das Hostel liegt neben dem Fluss. Zu Fuß muss man etwas sportlich sein, aber die Mühe lohnt sich. Sehr empfehlenswert. Ruhig, sauber und Staff sind sehr nett. Eine öffentliche Badeanlage gleich in der Nähe.
• Veronica (8/5): So much better than staying in Zurich. - An excellent alternative to staying somewhere in Zurich. 15-30 minutes by train from Zurich Central Station. Relatively easy walk from the railway station to the hostel - turn left at the end of the high level bridge and follow the road around under the bridge and along the riverside until you reach the hostel. Hostel has outdoor tables and chairs with pleasant view across the river. Hostel staff are very helpful. Loved the biscotti spread on multigrain bread for breakfast. Only lighting in the room were bedside lamp and a light across the top of the mirror - no light in the middle of the ceiling.
