Guest Reviews
- Stefany (7/5): Clean updated rooms. Quick access to the highway. - Easy access to the highway. Within walking distance to restaurants. It looks run down outside but it’s nice inside. Parking could be an issue.
- James (8/5): - Good bar and restaurant Small room
- John (5/5): Would choose other location in town - Location Run down. The sheets were not clean. Breakfast started at 8:30 am.
- JOSHUA (4/5): -

- RyannB (1/5): The only hotel we stayed in that we were sure we'd get bed bugs and be spied on. - The location was the only decent aspect to this hotel. It was directly across the street from Top Spot. A gas station with delicious food options for both breakfast and dinner. The actual hotel has a horrible parking lot and is next to some abandoned buildings. Well, the "front desk" is located in the bar which was off putting. The hotel room was disgusting; marks, dirt, boogers and more on the walls. The linens were stained and had hair all throughout them; we had to sleep in our clothes. The bathroom was decent except they only gave us two rolls of toilet paper that maybe had 1/4 left on each roll. We ended up running out in the morning and the bar was closed so we were unable to get more, so we used our emergency travel supply from our truck. They promote that they have "breakfast include" but they do not offer any food because their onsite restaurant is closed. Instead, for dinner they recommend a diner down the street. We opted to not follow their recommendation, due to the state of the hotel. Our non-smoking room had a mattress with cigarette burns on it, along with a nicotine pouch on the floor next to the bed. The floor not having seen a vacuum any time recently. The ceiling was littered with dead gnats and mosquitos, along with more miscellaneous stains. There was no additional security on the door, just the simple deadbolt. Which bothered us because the checkout instructions are to simply leave the key in the room then the room is left unlocked to which anyone could walk in and steal the key and make a duplicate.
- Jordan (5/5): -
- Navneet (4/5): Would not stay there again. - Location and friendly staff Blankets and sheets were dirty
- RICHARD (8/5): -
- Pam (3/5): -
- Dale (6/5): One night for the bike relay so all was good. - Convenient location. I booked a room with 2 beds and got one bed and a futon.
- Benjamin (1/5): - Dont stay here even if you are desperate!! Worst hotel i have ever stayed in! Rooms were dirty, the beds were rock hard, booked 2 rooms could only use one the other smelled so strong of cigarettes and pot that we couldn't even walk in the room. When we told the guy he said sorry you already paid, he offered another room, but it was on the other side of the lady chain smoking. So we all squeezed into 1 room. I got up every 2 hours to check on our vehicles to make sure no one broke into them.
- Aiyi (3/5): -
- Michael (3/5): - Very tired, hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, checking in consisted of asking a guy behind the bar
- Cody (8/5): - Great location. Amazing shower.
- Alysha (7/5): - It was renovated. We had a nice mountain view. The shower was dirty, there were small pieces of a bar of soap broken up on the floor of the shower and hair in the shower.
There were also hairs in the bed, some make up and dust/debris on the blanket.
- JoAnna (2/5): Views were pretty but the whole experience was way too weird. would not stay again. - The girl that checked us in was very nice. the mountain view was nice. The room came with warnings not to plug certain things in at one time (fire hazard). There was a Domestic Violence situation in the room next to us maybe because of the access to the bar on the property. In the morning the owner acted as if she did not speak English because she did not want to ask us for money for our dogs (which we were of the understanding this was already in the rate we paid when we checked in). The owner insisted we "just go into the restaurant" and not leave. She made us breakfast without asking what we wanted. It was all very very very weird and uncomfortable. The description of the facility is also misleading, private balcony with mountain view was just the walk way outside the room that was connected to every room. The mountain view was beautiful though. Would I stay there again? Probably not.
- Michael (6/5): Clean place to sleep with great view, excellent food, and very hard-working, friendly staff. - Location was perfect, and the young man who checked us in and waited on us in the restaurant/bar was especially friendly and helpful. Additionally, the evening meal at the restaurant was great. The room had no desk or table and the building was a little old and run down.
- Chelsey (8/5): -
- Lauren (6/5): - No
- Yves (8/5): - L'emplacement et le confort Pas de petit déjeuner avant 8h
- jinou (10/5): good - The location is good, the room is clean, the owner is friendly, the breakfast is hot, there is a restaurant, and the dinner is delicious! nothing
- Janice (8/5): - Convenient local and clean
- Elodie (3/5): -
- Melissa (2/5): Stay away.. not as advertised. - The shower had very hot water. Room was initially covered in dog food and hair (at 5pm.. well after check-in time). Reception was super apologetic and called housekeeping while we went for supper. Got settled, despite other people's hair in the shower, only to find out that someone was smoking in the adjacent room, despite it being a non-smoking hotel. Spoke to reception, who advised that the smoker was the owner so there was nothing to do. Moved rooms. Paper thin walls - someone decided to take a late night call in the laundry room, right beside our room, and I learned all about their business woes. Haines Jct was a pleasant temperature while we were there, but be aware there's no climate control, just a small fan or space heater. Wasp nests left out of control. Place not as advertised, dangerous for anyone with breathing issues, and way overpriced.
- Zhong (8/5): - The Chinese food offered is tasty.
- Christine (9/5): - I had a great stay at Kluane park inn. The owners are very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. We got a motel room with 3 double beds which is perfect for our group. They have lots of amenities close by, including a restaurant (free breakfast if you stay with them), laundry room and car wash. They are also pet friendly and have free wifi.
- Nicole (3/5): Alles putzen!
- Willie (8/5): - Close to shopping and major roads.
- Richard H. (8/5): - Basic necessities were met. Did not think much of the food at the restaurant
- HYUNGSUG (2/5): - I don't want to recomend anyone.
- willem (8/5): - Comfortable bed, great shower, friendly staff and neighbours, clean, good internet.
- Shea (3/5): Noisy, smoky, no air conditioning - Walkability , bathroom remodeled Located by a bar and it was noisy from patrons sitting outside smoking. The owners could have routed them to the other side of the building where there is a deck.
Motel rooms were accessed by a deck which patrons used to smoke. This was within 3 ft of our door so smoke infiltrated the room if the door or window open. Yukon Territory has a law that prohibits smoking within 5 meters of doorways. They were in violation .
- Manon (6/5): -
- Patrick (1/5): Gross - By far the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. Just terrible. The upgraded rooms/renovations were either rushed or done by someone that doesn’t know what they are doing. Terrible craftsmanship. Clearly the cleaning staff need to be retrained, fired, or more hired.
- Michael Riedelmeier (8/5): -
- Marcy (4/5): - Was given a key to 204, when we got there someone was already occupying the room. Went back down to the front desk and sent to room 106. There was no inside lock on door, so who was stopping anyone from getting my door key? I kept our luggage on the "day bed". It did not look safe for sitting or using as a bed. The window was filthy with dead bugs covering the screen. It was warm outside and hot in the room. No fan or ventilation. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
- Eduardo (5/5): Passable -
- Dodds (10/5): Exceptional -
- Timothy (8/5): - Good chinese restaurant and bar, but smokers right outside my window
- Krista (3/5): Poor -
- Kevin (4/5): Disappointing -
- Rachel (6/5): Decent stay for one night on our roadtrip to Haines - Convenient location, within walking distance to a few little shops. The room with 3 queen beds was very handy for my family so we could all be in one room. A little rundown, room wasn’t very clean.
- Brenda (2/5): Couldn’t wait to leave - Location . Decent bed It needs to be cleaned. It was VERY small & dirty & saw bugs. No kleenex. Soap bars tiny. The plug in in the bathroom was broken.
- Spencer (8/5): - Easy check in and out. Quiet, clean and safe
- William (8/5): Would stay again. - Knocked off a star for weak wifi. Our room had been remodeled and was quiet on the Saturday night we were there. Would stay again.
- Gwtw (1/5): Bad - No response from hotel No response from hotel
- Teri (1/5): Didn’t even stay at this location. Not what we expected at all Left and slept I the truck -
- Brittany (4/5): Disappointing - Its right off the highway, with an amazing view of the mountains. The restaurant was pretty good. The room was large with 3 beds which worked well for our family of 5. The beds were extremely hard and the bedding was very uncomfortable and the sheets had hairs on them from previous guests. There is no light in the shower so with the dark tiles on the floor it make the shower area very dark.
- Alan (5/5): Passable -
- Kelly (8/5): a very nice place - the shower the bed was hard
- John (7/5): We were happy to find this reasonably priced ,comfy place to stay. Room was fine and happily had coffee and micro and fr - Great location and staff. Nice to eat in attached restaurant. Low key but very good food. A bit less than perfect housekeeping. I think staffing was a problem so could be a temporary problem. Also a few places where we had to walk around were in need of repair. We had to watch our steps!
- Steven (7/5): Good -
- Jen (10/5): I had an amazing stay with my husband, I highly recommend this hotel to any other travellers. - The Kluane Park Inn has a very beautiful snow mountain view right in front of front entrance. Inn is very clean and all the staffs are super helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant is very delicious. I would highly recommend Kluane Park Inn to any other travellers who travel in the Haines Junction Yukon.
- Paul (9/5): Friendly community was a good place to stay and the gal (Billie) doing check-in and running the bar was outstanding! - Good location, good price, also has a place to eat and small bar, friendly staff. Friendly community was a good place to stay and the gal (Billie) doing check-in and running the bar was outstanding!
- Siddhartha (7/5): Good -
- Carla (6/5): Pleasant -
- Waller (5/5): Passable -
- Cassandra (2/5): - By far the DIRTIEST place I’ve ever stayed. Sheets had hair and dirt in them. Floor seemed like it hadn’t been swept in ages. Beyond disappointing— couldn’t get out of there fast enough.
- michael (6/5): - This property was exactly what you
- james (2/5): - Sheets looked like they had never been washed with stains and dog hair all over them. Noisy drunks in parking lot all night on a week night. Pay the few dollars more and stay somewhere else
- Alastair (4/5): - People/staff seem to be trying. Facilities old, worn out, not the best in cleaning. Main facility is a small bar with hotel attached. Good really not good.
- Tourist55069998397 (2/5): AVOID! Book anywhere else! - Booked as it was the Only hotel with availability. Family was give room 4, which the number 4 on the door was held by masking tape. Upon entering, room entrance mat was dirty, side tables were peeling and falling apart, flooring was peeling up, hair all over bathroom, standing water in the shower, and upon peeling back sheets - DIRTY unwashed sheets covered in hair, stains, and dirt. Again - only hotel with availability. Thankfully we traveled with Clorox wipes so cleaned everything and had sheets in our car to remake the beds. Worst hotel room I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and book early somewhere else!
(Note some website has them listed as a 3+ star lodging - don’t fall for it. Pretty sure they gave free beers to folks to get that rating, as the hotel bar was busy and LOUD)
- Kimberly (6/5): - One of few places to stay in Haines junction. The motel was just ok..beds were not comfortable and I kept killing bees in the room all evening.
- Ray (8/5): - The beds were comfortable and we had a quiet night.
- Julissa (6/5): - Staff made good efforts
- FNPinKnox (2/5): Very dirty! - We did 1 load of laundry here and the facilities were disgusting! Dirty and unsafe the dryer was falling apart but still in use! It takes loonies so we gave the guy a $10 USD & he gave us 10 looneys 🤦♀️ We needed to was 1 load, $9/load. The building and entire property was dirty & disgusting, can’t imagine sleeping or showering here!
- Mary Beth (10/5): - Newly renovated, very clean. Nice bar, good breakfast included.
- Steve (6/5): - It was what it was place to sleep people were nice
Your in the Yukon you get what you get
- Randall (6/5): Pleasant -
- Eric (2/5): - Not kept up.
Not neat.
Not clean.
Not modernized.
Hair on the sheets was the last straw.
We packed up and moved on.
- Joemer (6/5): - Right on the corner of a busy intersection. Gas station across the street had the best sticky buns I have ever had. Started off our drive with coffee and breakfast topped croissant. Very good. Highly recommend. Decor in motel wasn’t great. Had those 90’s best western bed covers and brown blankets to probably hide stains. We brought extra bed sheets in case of that reason.
- Jose (6/5): - Room is not clean enough.
- Daniel (10/5): - Everyone is nice, and food is so good
- John (10/5): Good Value - Everything Nothing
- Tracy (6/5): - You have to check in at the bar. There us no signage to indicate this. Bar tender was busy and not to friendly. The back door to the bar leads to the paring lot where the patrons hang out to smoke and sing at the top of their lungs at midnight. We ate at the restaurant. We all had a Chinese entree. It was gross. Heavily breaded and my chicken was hard and dry. Skip this place
- Joanne (8/5): - Walk in room
- Michael E (8/5): - Excellent Shower.
- Stockley (5/5): Passable -
- Micah (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (4/5): Disappointing - Easy access Very minimal, noisy
- ERIC (6/5): - Not bad but very dated, and cars park right at the door so its kinda noisy. Everything else was fine.
- Darryl (8/5): Nice & Clean - worked great for our needs - Rooms were nice and clean, we needed three beds and that accommodated our needs perfectly. Rooms were clean, the TV was located in our room in a weird location made it a little uncomfortable to watch.
- Bao (9/5): Superb - Convenient for a late night stop and sleep. Good enough room. Friendly staff. Would stay again
- Kirk (5/5): Passable - Room was fairly clean WiFi did not work and bed was not comfortable
- Matthew (4/5): - This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been in. The sink was filthy the shower was not clean (past guests hair stuck to shower door) fridge was filthy also filled with hair
- Kevin (9/5): Superb - The location was beautiful and the staff was super friendly. I thought it was good for what I was looking for.
- Julie (7/5): Good -
- Scott (5/5): Adaquate - Tasty. Quick, friendly service. Empty the ash trays on the railing outside the rooms.
- Charlie (8/5): - Great place to stay.
- Peter (10/5): - Everything’s convenient
- Carolyn (6/5): - The area and setting are beautiful with the mountains so close. But the hotel felt dingy and rundown. Blankets and bedspreads were not clean. One of the locals told us NOT to eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel because people tend to get sick after eating there. They advised we eat down the street at the pub, which was excellent advice. We tried to sit on the deck outside our room to enjoy the views, but the hotel/restaurant staff and friends sat outside chain smoking, and the smell was so strong we had to go inside. There was a constant stream of local traffic driving up to the side door of the restaurant to buy cartons of alcohol. And at 6 am there was an excavator right behind the hotel that sounded like it was going to come right through our wall. On the bright side, town is walkable to the pub and the incredible bakery! But there are nicer hotels in town!
- Tyson (8/5): - Decent place. Very close to Kluane National park
- Glen (5/5): Again for a one night over night it’s fine.. - If travelling through Haines Junction, before say heading to Haines Alaska, it’s a place to crash and get some rest. But you can drive all the way through to Haines do so. But it’s ok for an overnight sleep. Better curtains, with black out backing. Can have allot of light come in by early am. Pillows on the weak side, as in small ones … washrooms were remodeled, new and clean at least in number 5.
- Sims (4/5): We stayed at this hotel based on it ‘s convenience traveling the Alaskan Highway - Good location right off the Alaska Highway. Staff were friendly & helpful. No WIFI even though they advertise that they have it. Had to go stand in the lobby to get access to WIFI. Room was just okay, 2 beds, 1 chair nothing exceptionally comfortable or clean. Parking was limited. We could not park our vehicle where we could see it.
- Anabelle (10/5): Great stay! - Great location, very accommodating and friendly family-owned hotel. Units are clean and the beds are comfy.
- William (6/5): - Room was clean. Awesome view from the room. Food in the restaurant was good. Wifi in the room pretty sketchy.
- Daniel (8/5): See you again next year! - Location has great access and good parking arrangements for towed combinations. Breakfast was provided, however, our travel plan did not match breakfast hours… all in all a very good plac with great food.
- dorothy (2/5): - It was loud, no ac, bathrooms and walls were filthy, there was used soap packets in the shower. Just overall disgusting. The smoking section was right next to the rooms and due to no ac we had to leave the window open. The froklnt desk clerk was also the bar tender. Just not a good experience
- Nancy (8/5): - This is rural Yukon, so bear that in mind. But the recently renovated motel rooms are clean and comfy, with a good size fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. If you only drink tea like me, best to bring a kettle and tea bags. The nice folks at the KPI restaurant gave us milk capsules each night so we didn't have to rely on the Coffee Mate in the room. The KPI is centrally located and it's hard to beat the view out the front window.
