Guest Reviews
- Ian Colthart (8/5): Very good - Very helpful staff
- Adel (1/5): Not worth the money - I liked that it’s close to the beach. What I really didn’t like was that the reality was completely different from the pictures. The rooms were very small, and the seating area for الطعام or coffee was dirty and not well maintained.
I opened the microwave and it looked like it had not been cleaned for years.
Most importantly, there was a lot of noise after 2:00 AM. The staff did not respect the guests while they were sleeping. There was laughing and joking among the workers all night long, and we could not sleep because of the noise.
Also, they force you to pay a security deposit even though the hotel does not contain anything valuable — just basic furniture and a bed.
If I had to rate this hotel out of 10, I would give it only 1/10.

- Dawn (8/5): Very modern and clean. Ideal for the Grand Bend area. I would stay again. - Location is great and free parking! Grocery store across the road which is helpful. 10mins to Grog’s and 4mins to Grand Bend’s Main St. No elevator so you must be able to use the stairs. I was fine but this might not be okay for everyone.
- Yves (9/5): -
- Steve (8/5): - Easy check in/check out, easy parking, clean space less stairs
- Vincent (4/5): - No accesable for people who cant walk up the stairs with dissability . No elevator . I was in crutches and wasnt able to walk and have hard time going up the stairs and dont have no choice
- Immalaine (8/5): -
- Debbie (5/5): Disappointed - No breakfast for the price of the room the room I booked was not available let me know 3 days before we got a room but it was ok Nothing
- Avery (7/5): Overall not terrible stay. - Location was fine, just a short walk to the beach. We were not offered breakfast during our stay. The bathrooms could’ve been a lot cleaner. The shower head either needs fixed or replaced. It does need staffed more at the desk. We waited over 15 minutes to be helped and fully checked in to our room for the night
- Green (3/5): Turned away out business - Nice size, clean room. The one male staff member was rude to us and forced us to checkout even though there were many rooms available and the surrounding area roads were closed due to poor weather conditions.
- Zalak (10/5): -
- Auburn (7/5): - Price was good. Bed was comfortable. 4 pillows, large closet, no carpets. Nice forest view. Convenience store, pizza place, billiards and bar in one building. Staff were kind. Decorations for Christmas were up in the common area. Security cameras for safety. Bathroom drywall damage near ceiling in shower. Windows are filthy. Chair was very cheap. Fridge is very small and not cold enough. Heat in room takes awhile to heat. Not accessible must use stairs. Stairway smelt like body odor.
- Brian (8/5): -
- Braiden (1/5): Very terrible I own 2 company’s and I wouldn’t recommend staying here ever - Nothing About everything dirty and gross
- Stein (8/5): -
- Fernando (8/5): It was acceptable - Didn’t look too old. Was good Bathroom could be better clean and the fan of the bathroom not working

- RADOSLAW (9/5): -
- PAUL (8/5): -
- Karen L (5/5): - hotel was easy to find bathroom was way too small. No room at sink to place toiletries. No bath mat for floor. Room was too small for 2 beds.
- Daniel (6/5): - It was OK.
- rob (6/5): - Plenty of parking, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and responsive. The only issue was that i could hear nearby traffic coming from the highway.
- Jawad (6/5): - Did the job for a one night stay. Room was clean but quite small. Area around the hotel was a bit odd as it was in some sort of strip mall.
- Kendra (10/5): - The smell of clean linen upon arrival was a good sign. Sheets and towels indeed smelled wonderfully fresh. Good price, good stay.
- Yuki (10/5): - This is a solid budget choice a short drive from the Pinery and Grand Bend. It’s no frills but it’s clean, inexpensive and comfortable. Staff are friendly, AC works, lots of towels, easy parking. Cheap and cheerful FTW!
- David (10/5): - Close to my destination.
- Jim Germain (8/5): - Ok.
- Joseph (6/5): - cheap price for small room, probably smallest ever stayed. 2 major complaints, the pump soap bottle was so disgusting, we were ready to toss in garbage but didn't want to be charged for it. we used our own bar we brought. second, there was mold under toilet rim visible from bedroom and nmold around shower glass. general cleaning was ok.
- Robert (10/5): - Great place overall.
- Tracy (10/5): - The room was very clean, the staff were wonderful and the location was perfect.
- Aivy Sarah (10/5): - Great room
- Parker (10/5): - Close to the beach but far enough away to be away from the traffic
- Michael (10/5): - clean, cost efficient, convenient access, well maintain ed
- Lynda (8/5): - Two flights of stairs. May be an issue for some. Rooms nice and clean other than shower floor. Bedroom floors not properly installed and had gaps. Please upgrade to a keurig coffee maker. More user-friendly and universal than a tassimo coffee maker. Or at least just a regular coffee maker. Dispenser of shampoo and conditioner in shower was a nice idea and cost effective for the owners. Need the ceiling fan to work in the bathroom. There was no switch for it and it didn't turn on with light switch. Was quoted a different price when checking in then what Expedia charged my card. Will wait and see if it was just the money exchange difference. Over all a decent place to stay.
- Cindy (8/5): - The windows were very dirty and we had a view off of a junk pile
- Jennifer (8/5): - Clean and well kept.
- Arthur (8/5): - Great place not too far from main street. Convienient parking in front.
- David (8/5): -
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Hotel was good. A/C wasn’t working.
- Edmond (8/5): Basic hotel - We changed rooms because the first one was cramped and smelt badly like cigarettes in a non-smoking room. The front desk personnel did not hesitate to move us. The hotel is basic and nothing fancy, but it’s a less expensive option to stay in Grand Bend.
- Terri (4/5): - About 10-15 minute walk to main beach. We had Premium King room overlooking the unkept dumpster area. AC did not work. Hallway was hot. Every day some kind of bread was made and laid out on a sheet on the floor in the communal room, stinky and classless (hotel does NOT have food service so must be for family as we think they live in the building). Staff seemed uninterested in us as guests. Room has mini frig but it clicks all the time. Microwave and ice machine in communal room, if you can get around the drying bread stuff on floor. Room darkens well from sunrise though. Pizza place next door has very nice staff. Unfortunately we would not stay here again.
- Karla (2/5): - We had booked 3 nights, we were put into a room with black mold, not clean floors, blood stained blankets, asked to be moved into a clean room, got an upgraded room which was nice of them, except for that fact that that room also was disgusting and black mold filled. no dining room or kitchen; only a microwave in the living space outside your room. i would not recommend staying here if you want a clean room.
- Jette (8/5): Nice basic hotel that's walking distance to the beach - Clean No elevator
- Jemma (6/5): - It was affordable and the room was clean. The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and the place is a little run down.
- Graham (10/5): A great weekend in GB - Very nice and very convenient. Staff is great.
- Mary (6/5): - Signs at the check-in were patronizing and sarcastic regarding ringing the bell for service and for depositing your keys when checking out. The hand soap pump in the bathroom had been diluted with water. The air conditioning would not cool the room down so the room was way too hot. King bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows, and the sheets were very wrinkled and not crisp. There was mould around the shower and the location of the bathroom was not ideal as it was within two feet of the head of the bed. The window was dirty and overlooked an area where it looked like things no longer needed were thrown.
- Wayne (10/5): - Impressed with the king bed room
- Luana (3/5): Try Somewhere else - Location Beds were horrendous, room was not the cleanest
- Doug (8/5): - Looks like recent updating accept the flooring was not done correctly LOL
- Arnab (10/5): - Our stay was great. Staff was friendly and room was spacious and clean
- Piratheeban (4/5): - Stayed for two days.
The common areas carpet was very dirty. It looks like the carpet was never cleaned. The room was not so clean as well.
- GLEN (2/5): - This hotel is very dirty. The hallway looks like a crime scene with stains absolutely everywhere. The rooms are very very small. To make it a 2-bedroom they just throw in a portable single bed.
The bathroom was gross with hair on the walls and a disgusting soap dispenser. There wasn't even a shelf for your toiletries in the tiny tiny bathroom.
The beds were very cheap and uncomfortable.
No chair to sit and have coffee.
Almost never anybody at the front desk and late check-in's aren't even an option.
Everything about this hotel is cheap and dirty!
We booked/paid two nights but left after the first night!
- Angela (10/5): - It's sooo quiet and feel safe. Mor co
- Sophia (6/5): - It was honestly just a decent time my main concern was that it’s called a hotel but it was nothing like a hotel. It was OK like all we needed to really do is just leave our bags in there and sleep in it at night but definitely overpriced because it was still a 15 to 20 minute walk to get to the main strip. Also, there was a few things broken in the room, such as the window and the bed frame. Wouldn’t book it again but definitely recommend if it’s the last available place as it was just decent nothing special.
- Justin (6/5): - The room was very small, although it was quite clean, after spending the day at the beach, we came back to our room and their was an over powering smell of mold or something throughout the entire room.
- Helen (8/5): - Parking was very easy.
- Grace (4/5): - Mattress was sunken in the middle, hard and creaked when you moved.
Pillows lumpy.
Bathroom was not very clean
Fridge was dirty
Cobwebs on walls.
- Paulo (5/5): -
- Ryan (1/5): Horrible left early - Hallways were very messy with garbage out
Visible stains all through the hallway floors
Broken furniture
Broken window
- Nancy (10/5): Enjoyed our stay! - Very nice, Friendly, Quiet and relaxing.
- Patrick (8/5): - Very affordable location if you are looking for a quick weekend trip in Grand Bend. Walkable to Main Street with lots of lunch/dinner options. Rooms are standard, but you won't be spending much time there! Lots to do in town.
- Kim (7/5): - Proximity to main drag Cleanliness
- Diana (7/5): -
- Irina (8/5): -
- Ricardo (4/5): - The amount of money we pay the hotel should be more clean.
The floor was dirty entrance stairs hallway dust in the room windows dirty fans and AC dirty
- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid this "hotel" - Avoid this"hotel." Non-existent customer service, rude staff - proudly displaying a notice that literally says "don't ring the desk bell 47 times"...we will get to you when we can. I'm sure neither the hotel staff not the hotel owners would care about this review but I hope hotel.com will and delist this "hotel" from their service.
- Ranald (6/5): - Nice enough hotel, basic, no issues. Staff need some happy faces.
- Dan (8/5): - Only there for one night but good location walking distance to beach and dinner/ night life
- Johnny (6/5): - The beach Room too small for the price
- Angelika (6/5): - Small rooms but good for
- Patricia (10/5): - Excellent clean property, friendly staff, close to main strip and beach
😃
- Amelia (10/5): - Very helpful staff
Clean
Good little restaurants nearby
10 minutes walk to beach
- KATARZYNA MALGORZATA (6/5): - Not very clean, sheets had stains on them, shower floor had black spots, hallway carpet very dirty
- Jennifer (6/5): Better than camping. - Close to the Main Street Hotel is not ADA complaint. All rooms are on the second floor. You have to carry all your luggage to your room.
- Roxene (6/5): - AC not very effective
Beds very noisy
- Lisa (8/5): - shower stall was a bit mouldy but other than that the room was very clean
- Grace (2/5): - Left a day early it was so bad. Sheets dirty. Bathroom filthy. Mildewy. Boxes and garbage in lobby area. Our window a dumpster and surgeon garbage and skids was chaos.
- Tracy (6/5): - Stairs no elevator
Fairly new hotel
However mould in the shower.
Towels could be better
- Jenna (6/5): Beautiful location, hospitality could use work - The location was excellent! Very close to the beach. The service left something to be desired. We arrived slightly early and they seemed very surprised to see any patrons. All they had to say was that our room wouldn’t be ready for a “very long time”. There also was no housekeeping daily so we kept having to request towels and our garbage filled up quite frequently.
- Rosemarie (4/5): - Air conditioning sucked took a very long time to get a little cool
No fan in bathroom - very steamy when and after showering - can already see mild around bathroom floor
Two beds crammed into room
Had to leave early for a family emergency at home - “just leave key in room”. No return on second night or any sort of discount - quite expensive for this facility but had never been there before so thought we would try.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I artived pretty late but thankfully check in was smooth and quick. The door to my room was difficult to open and didnt open all the way. I noticed it was because of some damage (water?) To the floor. The room was clean and had everything needed for a quick stay. The mattress on the bed definitely needed an upgrade. Air conditioning was a bit difficukt to figure out but got the room a bit cooler once i did figure it out.
- Dan (6/5): A decent hotel for a staying a short time period on a budget. - The room was clean. The bed was comfortable though a little worn out. It was quiet most of the time (no parties). It was a relatively short walk from Main Street and the beach in Grand Bend and there was a grocery store in the area (No Frills). Staff was friendly and helped me figure out how to use the AC. I could not get Wifi signal in my room. The TV was from the previous decade (no YouTube). The window handle was broken and when I opened the window a few spiders came into my room from the screen outside. I eventually was able to close the window but ended up killing 3 spiders during my stay there. My advice - don't open the window but use the AC instead.
- Vladyslav (1/5): -
- Ashley (4/5): - Would not ever go back. Didn't end up staying after spending the money.
- Jo-Anne (4/5): - Very expensive for the amount paid.
- CYNTHIA (8/5): - The check in /out was very easy.
the lamp shade and sheets on cot had stains but sheets were replaced immediately and very happy with that. overall we had a good time and no complaints
- skinder (8/5): - No elevator no directions from the staff
