Would be very easy to set up a bird cleaning station in the back area of the hotel outside. Would be a great aree for a patio setup as well.

The bed was comfortable and the room was large but had very old recliners and really could use a table area. The laundry facilities were not operable and the breakfast was just adequate. Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of options in the area for stopping through for the night. I feel the price didn’t match the value.

Booked because pool was mentioned but the pool is actually two blocks up at the Lodge hotel which also owns the Bowman. Should be mentioned in the notes on the website. Quite room though and shower was good. Towels were ragged. Outrageous price for a not so good hotel.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Great stay - The stay was great, very nice staff. It was a small town hotel that met all our needs. It could probably use some upgrades but we liked it as it was. We had our dog with us, they even keep treats for pets there, our pet friendly room was very clean. We had a good breakfast in the morning and went on our way. We would stay there again.

• Nancy (2/5): - Be aware there is not an elevator so you have to carry luggage up the stairs. Sheets had stains on them, carpet in hallway has holes, individual size shampoo was not full as if someone else had used it. Air conditioner was not on, so when we arrived on a day that was 100+ degrees it took for ever for it to cool off. Breakfast was pathetic. Bread and other items were put in ziplock bags, very limited on items, coffee was cold at 6:30 a.m. A family with 4 or 5 kids came down to eat right after us, only enough juice for 3 kids. Employee could be seen from the desk sitting on a couch in a room behind the counter playing on phone instead of replenishing items.
• Grant (6/5): - Our bedspreads were dirty and chair in room had stains on it. During the day, cleaning service came in and picked up a few things and got us new towels, however they threw away a few things that we wanted to keep. Although it is great that maids were cleaning, however it was very obnoxious hearing a vacuum constantly be run near our room. Free breakfast option is nice, although most of the food is pre-made and not freshly made. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom with plenty of access to soap if you didn’t bring any.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - We were just there to sleep. The room had a strong smell when we walked in. Bathroom clean/ sheets clean/ beds okay. They say offer complimentary breakfast- the waffle mix came out like water and everything else offered appeared old and stale. Nothing fresh.
• Jessica (10/5): Would stay again. - We stayed in the family suite. It had 3 queen beds and a sofa bed. I was delighted that the room did not have a smell as that turns me off right away. It was relatively clean, but I have high expectations. We were kind of bummed out it didn't have a pool, but come to find out that if you stay here you can use their sister hotel pool across the street. That part would have been very helpful as I had 5 kids with me that really wanted to go swimming. Overall I would stay again. The staff were nice and kind and even let us have breakfast a little late.

She did a very well job and still treated people with respect. The carpet could be cleaned. The shower curtain was dirty. Other than that it was OK.

• Rebecca (10/5): Snowbound in Bowman ND - Due to weather conditions we stayed two nites. The room was big enough for myself and 4 kids, they had their own space and enjoyed it. If ever needed again will stay there again and will let family, friends with their families to go.

The only suggestion we have is to get a brighter light in the sign. Had a difficult time finding it at night. Had to call the hotel.

• Nola (9/5): I found my overall experience and cost at Bowman Inn and Suites Barry acceptable. - At 80 years old, I really liked that there was a secondary entrance/exit and I was able to park my vehicle very close. Access to the parking was a little tight. Would not recommend for anyone pulling a trailer of any size. The one thing I would recommend is that a more prominent sign for the Inn. Even though I had an exact GPS, I still had a problem finding the facility.

The inn has a young energetic staff. They serve with punctilious care, seeking to make your visit pleasant, restful, satisfying. The value here is in the basics, a clean room, a diligent host, and non nonsense service.

• MANUEL VALLADARES (10/5): Diamond in the Rough - Was not expecting much from this property, but it sure was a pleasure to stay here. The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Nice little breakfast area. No complaints if I ever have to come back through Bowman, I will definitely stay here.

The front desk lady called to make sure I was still going to make it that night as their office normally closes at 10:00 p.m. and she wanted to know if she needed to stay. The room was nice and cold with the AC blasting when I got to my room, a welcome change from the hot summer day. Nice variety of hot and cold breakfast items.

• Carolyn (9/5): We enjoyed our stay at the Inn in Bowman and the hospitality of the front desk and the town folks. - We were new visitors to ND just to see some of the landscape. We drove up from Rapid City. The Inn was the perfect respite for our night. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful recommending what we should see in town and a place for dinner. The question above about the lighting was not a surprise because the rooms really do need a ceiling light to make it homier and brighter. Everything else was fine, and we enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast was fine, but not stellar. We were there at a slow time, so it really didn't make sense to fix a big breakfast buffet that wouldn't be eaten. We held no ill-will to the breakfast. It got us going and kept us until noon.
• Zuzana (1/5): Avoid at all cost. - They double charged our credit card when we booked from booking.com -- 1st charge from booking.com directly and then 2nd charge on your credit card you give them for "incidentals only". After we came back from vacation we noticed we are double charged. Called them. Then had to call booking.com. Then had to call them again. Extremely annoying. During the calls didin't hear a single sorry for this.

• Dinush (5/5): Passable - The wifi is not safe there. We stayed over night without the internet. And breakfast is not worth. They do have some stuff in the fridge, we have to warm and eat. Towels and bedsheets are dirty colored.
• Courtney (3/5): Just keep driving - The bed was comfortable. The lady that checked us in was so nice and helpful. Plenty of parking. The water was brown! And the shower didn’t drain at all so it was like showering in a muddy puddle. The towels were also brown! There was an ice machine but the ice looked weird! The temperature in the room was either too cold or too hot, never a comfortable temperature. No laundry services. There’s no one at the front desk after 10pm. Some guy came in covered in what looked like blood. It was a horrible experience.

• James (4/5): Disappointed with service. - The guy at check-in was unhelpful. He seemed aggrieved at having to do his job. I reported that the safe in the room was locked and asked him to open it. His response was no. There are doors to the building that are not secure and anyone can gain access. Breakfast is poor.
