All in old style Italian decor with ceiling fresco - appears to have been a home prior although the bathroom was modern and the windows updated for soundproofing. It is billed as a hotel so was a bit confusing at first.

• JPSWashington_DC (10/5): Romantic Sophia room and excellent service - We enjoyed our two-night stay in the romantic Sophia room with its bay of floor to ceiling French doors overlooking the piazza. The room was clean and quiet and the elevator to the residence was definitely in working order. We enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast at the cafe below and we had no problem finding parking steps away using the old town parking pass provided to us by Maria Luisa. We also appreciated the minibar and snacks in the room. During our stay, Maria Luisa even had our laundry washed and pressed by her housekeeper for such a reasonable price. A special tip is to go to the Cabras Civic Museum, a 16 minute drive, to see the Giants of Mont'e Pram. It was truly an amazing experience.

It's not really a hotel but rather a kind of air BNB. I would just look for somewhere else to stay. No breakfast facilities and was given coupons to go down the street for coffee.

• SusanE2763 (6/5): Good location but that’s all - The location of this hotel is excellent for walking in the town but it has problems…elevator doesn’t work, breakfast is in a cafe down the street, rooms are strange (toilet, sink, shower in 3 separate rooms) and cluttered, parking only on the street if you can find a space. Not a four star experience for us, only 3* (and that is generous).

All the ceilings are decorated and paited. You fell like you have been transported in time but with All the modern facilities. Also, you open your valcony and you are looking directly at Piazza Eleonora, the Main plaza in oristano.

• Lynda (6/5): - Lovely building and room in center of town. We had to pay for parking because the piazza where we could park with hotels permit was full until 10:30 pm. We had booked for two nights The owner told us before arriving we might have trouble with streets in center of city as an event would be happening. However only after checking in did the owner tell us that the event was a orchestral performance from 9:30 pm till after midnight next evening in front ( right in front) of our first story room. It would have been lovely a block away but now everyone was setting up stage, equipment etc for a major performance. As early sleepers we decided to leave the next morning It would have been nice to know about the performance before the 24 hour cancellation so we did not have to pay for a room we did not use because we could not go to sleep We felt the owner was less the upfront about the performance and should have refunded a nights fee. We had to book another room to sleep that night.

Furniture and decoration very nicely fitting. Great housekeeping every day. Breakfast has been served in the cafe in the ground floor, allowing us maximum flexibility to have breakfast between 7 am and 1 pm.

Car park pass enables parking on a piazza or street conveniently nearby. The property is full of character but has all the modern facilities, everything you could wish for. Loved the tea selection and the bath especially! Location couldn't be better. Restaurant downstairs is excellent but closed Sundays. I was happy with every aspect of my stay.

The apartment lock was falling apart and needs replacing.

• delhev (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel and excellent welcome - We had and excellent stay in this beautiful boutique hotel in the old centre of Oristano. We were lucky to get the outstanding SOFIA room - all the best you can expect. The welcome was great - you receive a special pass that allows you to park your car nearby. Although the hotel is situated in the middle of the old city centre - it was very quiet at night during our stay end of July. Breakfast is typical Italian, so don't expect huge and endless buffets - but a good choice - and very fresh. Service is excellent.

The staff were amazingly friendly and attentive - a benefit from there being only 7 rooms. The breakfast buffet was amazing to look at and amazing to eat. Everything about the hotel’s style is incredible. It is also in an excellent location for central shopping and restaurants.
• bscott4913 (10/5): Old world experience - A wonderful experience in the heart of Oristano. The hotel is located within the palazzo Corrias Carta and overlooks the Piazza Eleonora d'Arborea. The hotel is in an outstanding location. the rooms have been modified with bathrooms added to the upper floors. The bathrooms are on the smaller side. Check in was smooth and the manager was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and an in excellent room.
• Robert (10/5): Elegant place to stay - This was an elegant hotel located in the main piazza of Oristano, with easy access to many interesting places to see in the area. The ceilings are amazingly high! The spiral staircase to the second floor bathroom was visually interesting albeit quite a climb! With all the extra space in the spacious room, a sofa to complement the narrow chairs would be a nice bonus for relaxing and for tv viewing. Minibar charges were reasonable, but it tea bags could be offered for free. Free parking nearby was a plus. The staff was most gracious.
• accabacca (8/5): the best plca ewhere you can sleep in Oristano - This is a magic place where you can sleep if you want spend sometime in Oristano. This is a charme location with ancient furniture like a museum ! All is special inside also the breakfast. I prefer the room with the view on the square . The breakfast is so amazing !
• phat_dawg_21 (10/5): This was a wonderful boutique hotel - Each of the seven rooms are unique. I would like to think we had one of the best, with high ceilings, a small balcony, and view of the piazza. The bed was comfortable, with nice linens. The bath was large, with a large shower. Wi-Fi worked well, and there were plenty of outlets for phone and laptop charging. We meet several staff members during our two night stay and all were very courteous and helpful. We parked in a metered spot near the cathedral and walked in with our bags. The lady at reception explained that we could park in a free spot near the piazza, so I moved the car. It worked well for us for two days, even the second day when we returned late in the afternoon. The only thing nicer than the breakfast was the beautiful breakfast room. Service was perfect.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great place! - Great Breakfast. Helpful service. Very unique place with a lot of character. More like a B&B than a hotel. Lots of events in the square out front as well. Parking is easy so long as before 4:30pm...after that cars pour into the area to shop. So try and wrap up day trips by then and then chill and have dinner in town.
• TheLondonVeggie (10/5): Like staying in a palace - This hotel is based on the first floor of a grand building on the main square in Oristano. The rooms are decorated in an old fashioned style. The bathroom fittings are modern. We stayed in the L’amore room which faces out onto the square. Noise was not an issue. The room was large and square with double height ceilings. The bathroom was about half the size of the bedroom and again with double height ceilings. We loved the room. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even posting some t-shirts we had left behind to our next hotel. The hotel can provide a pass to allow you to park on the street nearby for free. We found parking on the street right opposite the hotel (via eleonora) very easily. This is the place to stay in Oristano! Suggestions for improvements would be: - separate conditioner rather than conditioning shampoo (for people with long hair!) - body lotion in room - tissues in room (I couldn’t find any)
• ebjorndk (10/5): Fantastic hotel, best decor I’ve ever seen! - This hotel and its owner is in a very special class. All is held in original, even modern design. Full respect. If you are around west Sardinien this is a must and a true gem. Rooms original and bathroom modern.
• LAHitch (10/5): Treated Like Royalty - When we arrived at this hotel, we cancelled our other one in Cagliari and made this our base. We had a suite decorated with antiques, and every morning there was a sumptuous breakfast served on gold plated china. There's also an elevator and we were given a parking pass. The staff gave our stay a personal touch, and were friendly and attentive. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Sardinia. And, the price was reasonable, especially compared to places we've stayed at Lorne and Torquay in Australia which were expensive shoe boxes.
• 106brucew (10/5): Pleasant Surprise - I spent two nights at Hotel Regina d’Arborea during a recent two week visit to Sardinia. I was very pleasantly surprised with my room, the Pace room. It was spacious, not only because it was large, but the ceiling was two stories up. The photo shows the ceiling painting which adds to the uniqueness. The room overlooked a plaza, and I thought it might be noisy, but the windows are well insulated and I barely heard anything. There is a quirk with the bathroom. It is up a spiral staircase. What I thought could be a problem really wasn’t. And the shower is large. Breakfast was good, on par with my experiences at other hotels. The staff is helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Everything about the stay was amazing: the room, the decor, the food, the service, and exceptionally helpful and polite staff. She gave us the unforgettable round superior room with nice ceiling paintings and 3 balconies. Besides that we got a nice welcome drink. We had a beautiful view at the nice square in front of the hotel. We would definitely recommend the Hotel!

Beautiful old style, and centrally located, with street parking readily available. We ate at the Restaraunt twice, and both times it was fantastic for a late lunch. My wife is celiac, and they were very helpful on making dishes without gluten or cow dairy. Delicious food, old world charm and architecture, Stay here. Head a few blocks North for lots of dining options and shopping. Head west for the beaches.

The woman at the desk was helpful and really kind. The only difficulty is to find a place to park the car in the street. There is no parking.
• StevenF532 (10/5): Magical and Wonderful - We were in the Amore suite and it was truly wonderful. It was like staying in a museum. It was so beautifully appointed with all amenities thought out and well conceived. The bathroom was spacious with twin sinks and a huge shower. The bedroom and bathroom had ceiling paintings. Maria Louisa was so welcoming and helpful taking great pride in this wonderful spot of heaven. This hotel is perfectly located and just perfect. Thanks Maria Louisa!
• anna (8/5): Historic Hotel classical interior - This Hotel was a beautiful building in the middle of Oristano ,overlooking a square where traffic was not allowed. The downside was that the hotel did not have exclusive parking, although they gave you a parking permit for the road opposite, which was generally full when the shops were open. If you like historic buildings this is the hotel for you however do not expect mod cons. Breakfast was ok but had a limited choice for UK travellers as their was plenty of cake,s nice at teatime but not first thing in a morning as the Europeans enjoy.
• Lucas (10/5): Unique Hotel, Wonderful Experience. - The hotel is in a traditional 19th century palace, lovely decorated with antique furniture. All details are really lovely. We were at honeymoon and they gave us a full bottle of champagne, everybody was extremely polite, warm and knowledgeable. The location is in the Piazza Eleonora d'Arborea which is wonderful, like a dream. All rooms are unique, with valuable furniture and delicate details. And last but not least, the price was extremely reasonable for such a high quality hotel. It is really a great and unique hotel, an experience that you would not like to miss!!! Highly recommendable!!

• Kim (10/5): Amazing room, very beautifully decorated. - Our experience of this hotel could not be improved. Amazing staff, beautiful palazzo, with fantastic ceiling paintings and furniture. Modern luxury in a great location.
