• Chizuru (8/5): よかった - バスターミナルに近く、旧市街へ行くバス停もスーパーもすぐそばにあり便利。また、レセプションの方も感じが良かった。 部屋の窓からの眺めも良い。 部屋に湯沸かしケトルも冷蔵庫もないこと。エアコンの温度設定ができず、とても寒かったこと。

• Malahayati (8/5): Great value for money and easy to go around. - The location is great as it’s very close to Dubrovnik bus station. It’s 10 mins by bus 1A, 1B & 3 to old town. The hostel is roomy and clean. The room is clean everyday. A plastic cup will be handy to put toothbrushes and comb. The USB port is very slow and not located next to the bed.

• Europeos Viajeros (10/5): Cómodo aunque fuera del centro de la ciudad. - El tamaño de la habitación. Además a 5min de la estación de bus. Esta lejos del centro pero la parada de bus está a unos minutos y te deja en pleno centro.

• Eric (7/5): Three Nights at the Hostel Sol - Newly renovated room with water view. The hotel is in the process of being renovated. A strong paint smell in the room. There was nothing in the room except towels and bed linen. Not even a glass. No refrigerator or tea and coffee making facilities. A very basic room. A chair to sit on, would have been a good idea. No tourist information available. Definitely not value for the money paid. Advertised that the hotel is close to local bus stops. This is not true. The bus stops are quite a distance away. It is a ten minute walk to the Bus Station, but most local bus services don't use this bus station. Bus Station is good for airport bus transfer. There are restaurants within a ten minute walk. A supermarket, a five minute walk from the hotel. No provision for breakfast at the hotel.

• Annika (5/5): Okay für eine Nacht - Es kam mir sehr gelegen, dass dieses Hostel nah am Busbahnhof liegt und ich da wegen eines verpassten Anschlusses eine Nacht unterkommen konnte. Das Personal ist freundlich und das Badezimmer groß und modern. Auch das Zimmer hatte eine angenehme Größe und das WLAN war schnell. Für das was angeboten wurde, zu hoher Preis für ein Hostel, aber was will man in Dubrovnik erwarten? Es gab nicht mal einen Kaffeeautomaten, auch keine Toiletten in der Nähe der Rezeption oder eine Küche zur Zubereitung von Speisen. Am Morgen stank es im Zimmer nach Kanalisation und Insektenspray, und bei ungeöffnetem Fenster war es stickig im Zimmer.

• Pat (8/5): - Close to the ferry port and it's clean and comfortable. No tea making facilities, shower doors are fitted properly so water was spilled out which makes the bathroom quite wet.
• Susan (9/5): - It was a great hostel near the harbour, clean and comfortable with great views. Lovely staff and easy to find. There will be a cafe and kitchen in a few weeks when renovations are finished so it will be ten out of ten then! Just missing some hot drinks machines or a cafe or bar .. coming soon, apparently.
• Fernandez Jurado (1/5): Nos sentimos estafados, lo evitaría a toda costa. - Lo único bueno: cerca de la estación central de bus y de un supermercado. Y que nos dejaron salir de la habitación unos minutos después. Me he quedado en cientos de hoteles a lo largo de mi vida y es la primera vez que escribo una reseña negativa, seré lo más educado y justo posible. 1. Instalaciones: El hotel está en reformas, parece todo muy nuevo pero luego se ven chapuzas como por ejemplo la ducha (las gomas se salen y la puerta no cierra). 2. Habitación: Entra luz en la habitación las 24 h del día, en la ventana solo hay una cortina y por la noche se ve absolutamente todo, casi imposible pegar ojo. Sin calentador ni nevera. 3. La ubicación: está lejísimos del centro y los buses funcionan regular, los conductores no se esfuerzan por ayudar a nadie (lo hemos vivido nosotros y visto a otras personas). Disgusto asegurado. Aunque parezca que esto no tiene nada que ver con el hotel, lo recalco porque se alardea de buenísima conexión de bus y cercanía a la parada. Lo cual deja mucho que desear. 4 Cocina: pagamos este hotel por la supuesta cocina, llegamos y dicen que la acaban de quitar, no nos quisieron dar ni una solución (micro, nevera…NADA.) solo se nos pidió disculpas y ala fuimos timados. Por haber no hay ni calentador de agua en la habitación, ni siquiera una nevera pequeña. 5. Suceso 1: no nos cambiaron el gel los primeros días, tuvimos que quitar nosotros mismos el bote y dejarlo en la puerta para que lo vieran. 6. ⁠Paredes: todos los días nos despertábamos sobre las 6 am (aparte de la luz que entra en la habitación) porque se escuchaban las alarmas sonando continuamente y móviles de otros huéspedes. Además de ello, empiezan a hacer las habitaciones muy temprano (no significa que eso esté mal), pero todo el ruido de mover las camas suena muy fuerte tanto en las habitaciones de al lado, como en las de arriba. 7. ⁠La ventana: es muy agradable abrir la ventana y sentir el fresquito por la mañana, pero en seguida es horrible tenerla abierta. Está al lado de una carretera muy transitada, suenan todo el rato coches y motos y autobuses.

They sent me a message a week before our arrival and they didn't give us an option for refund which I didn't like it. We only spend one night and we preferred something near the bus station and the other hotel is far from it so we need taxi to go around

Établissement très propre et neuve, chambre propre et bien agencé, literie impeccable et c’est à 2min à pied de la gare routière et le personnel est très aimable.Je le recommande à 100%. This makes it incredibly convenient for catching inter-city buses as well as the airport shuttle. Despite being so close to a major transport hub, the rooms are very quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's rest. The accommodations are clean and well-maintained, featuring a good bathroom with quality fixtures. For those looking to explore, Dubrovnik Old Town is easily accessible via frequent local bus services that stop just a short walk away. ​The staff were very nice and accommodating; they even allowed me to store my luggage after checkout, which made my final day of sightseeing much easier. Nothing just a kettle in the room would have been wonderful.

It was still under construction, so didn’t get to experience other facilities. If you are a light sleeper, get a room not facing the bay and the road. • Heather (10/5): Even the big tour operators can't handle building work erratas this good! - The admin service Approximately 10 days prior to arrival I received an email - hostel closed for maintenance - Hy heart sunk thinking can I get a similar dear this close to the date 🫣 As I read on - they had transferred my reservation to a 3* hotel 10 minutes away - phew - I was relieved I passed the hostel it looked a nice building and location was ideal opposite the marina close to the main bus station serving local and coaches further afield - so I don't doubt that I would have given it a good review. The hotel Ivka to which I was transferred was a new refurbished hotel - rooms were lovely and comfortable and the main areas were very nice and the staff were lovely 😍 That I can't give a true review of the hostel But thank you and well done for handling the reservation 😍

They opened before renovations were completed. The rooms was still full price and half of facilities were not available. .

• Roberto (9/5): Ottima esperienza. La rifarei! - Pulita, essenziale, ben posizionata per chi ha necessità di interfacciarsi con il porto. Mancava l’asciugacapelli ed è stato necessario andare a chiederlo in reception. Inoltre non c’erano i saponi (né per le mani, né per la doccia).
