Guest Reviews
- Venecia (8/5): Breath of fresh air - The property is in a private location, the fresh breeze was everything for us, the kids had space to play and enjoy
Everything was clean, also great value for money
- Lucileia (10/5): -
- Theresa (9/5): -
- Abigail (9/5): Serene - Loved the serenity within the property, very well maintained trees and plants all over. Pool was clean. Room was spotless when we arrived. Had our towels changed and bed made while we were out. All the staff were friendly including the owner and her little pupp. We had a pleasant experience.
- mogashoa (8/5): It was a good experience - The place was good If they allow us to use air-conditioning all the time
- jean-Marie (10/5): -

- johanna (8/5): - The room was big enough and value for money The was no Microwave in the room it was going to be best if we had one and again WIFI was not connecting but we were informed, the fridge was too small to accommodate out perishable and our beverages , Kindly check the Toilet in Room 5 there is a bad smell coming from it 👍
- Njabulo (7/5): -
- Mashile (9/5): I had a great time - The fact that breakfast was freshly made upon request
- Foetunate Lorraine (10/5): -
- mlungisi (5/5): Room stuffy - Clean Room is stuffy. No windows.
- mpho (10/5): Perfect - The guesthouse is big for 4ppl, very clean and with heat of mpumalanga we where sorted with fans and aircons and i would like to thank the guy from reception is it Mfundo I forgot the name for helping us to book Kruger Safari tour it was amazing, but if you fear Lizards just like me don't book Mpumalanga nje because there's lizard in every attraction places I visited, It was my 1st time to see Colour blocking lizard😂😂🦎but my husband and my child did enjoy every moment as they love Nature Wifi it was bad but it was out of the control of the Guesthouse owner because the situation cost by heavy hails.... Tracey please sort out beds they are too uncomfortable or mayb I'm fat😂😂😂I don't know but even my 9yr old daughter complaint about it, otherwise everything was perfect
- Nombuso (8/5): I loved almost everything about the place except for the beds, I would rate them 8/10. Please attend to the beds coz - Cleanliness, smells fresh The comfortability of the bed needs to be attended to, they are super uncomfortable,
- Nkosinathi (10/5): - The venue space, bathrooms outstanding and cleanliness. Quietness. What we saw on the advert it's what welcomed us on the actual arrival. Nothing
- Pilar (9/5): Perfect base for Kruger with a fantastic location and Tracey’s super helpful, welcoming support. - We stayed at Woodlands Guest House for one night and it was the perfect base for visiting Kruger. The location is really convenient, just a short drive to the park gates. Tracey was absolutely lovely — very welcoming and incredibly helpful with her recommendations. We felt taken care of from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended.
- Gladness (10/5): - Good and welcoming None
- blackadderv (8/5): Comfortable room - Decent room in Hazyview with parking space and near to the town. Good base for the Panorama Route. Room was comfortable, staff friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

- Angeles (9/5): - Ubicacion. Habitacion. Baño. Todo bien
- Liezl (9/5): -
- Tebogo (8/5): -
- Heiko (9/5): - Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, sehr hilfsbereit
- Sandile Colin (3/5): Tracey is UNwelcoming and needs to learn to speak to people with respect -
- Lieke (10/5): Fantastisch - Ruime kamers, fijne buitenruimte.
Eigenaresse was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Lekker zwembad om even af te koelen.
- Madonsela (10/5): -
- cyril (10/5): This is a place I would recomend to all. It is beautiful and the staff and owner very friendly. - The staff was extremely friendly, and it is a beautiful place. Not far away from shops or Kruger Park. nothing
- Iviwe (7/5): -
- Ali (4/5): Best to stay away… - Stayed 15 days in South Africa and this was my worst stay. Room has awkward layout with bathroom having no privacy. Beds are too soft and uncomfortable. Overall, not good value for money.
- Doris (9/5): -
- Khensani (10/5): -
- Bertrand (7/5): -
- Shiyu (7/5): Spacious room close to Kruger Park - Very close to the Kruger park, friendly staff. Spacious room Our shower room sewage has blockage by the hair
- Anthony (10/5): Perfect - Suited us perfectly ?
- Fabiano (8/5): Very good - Room was very clean and comfortable.
- Lucas (5/5): Passable - There's was power outage the whole day and they had backup generator in place
- Ennie (10/5): Had a nice and peaceful stay. - Liked the friendly welcome by Tracey, the room was big enough and the cleanness is 10/10. There was no microwave in the room to warm my food.
- Rebecca (5/5): Challenges to overcome. Keeps travel interesting - The wifi was very poor and I had an important video call I needed to make. Tracy did go above and beyond and contacted another property to arrange for me to take the call there. It was so appreciated that she arranged this. Thank you again. 1st - the parking. I hope you are an excellent driver. Very small space for parking and was just asking to scratch up the car as my spot was between two trees and my passenger had to get out before pulling in. Super difficult to get in and out.
2nd - check in. Tracy checked us in and although I know she meant to be kind we could not get an answer to any of our questions. It became a joke that no matter what question we would ask she would willingly provide us with everything but an answer. I would copy and paste the same question in our WhatsApp and would still not get an answer. We have now named it "The Tracy". There are stairs and lots of stairs. I specifically check this when booking and it may have slipped through. But you can count on Tracy to make a joke about all the stairs as she watches you struggle with your suitcase while smoking a cigarette.
3rd - there is no food although you may smell food cooking its for her 17 year old dog
- Yvonne (9/5): Superb - Loved the rooms and the location was excellent for Kruger access! One family member found her mattress uncomfortable!
- Bilal (9/5): Nice Stay at

- Mireya L (10/5): - Amazing place to stay, clean, comfortable beds, quiet, safe. Tracey was wonderful and helpful. Delicious Breakfasts.
- Nizamudeen (8/5): Very good - The scenery was very tropical, quiet and peacefull. Overall a good stay Toilet was abit wobbly but worked fine. Lighting was abit dull and low,
- Dembe (10/5): This place is beautiful❤️ surrounded by nature. They clean the rooms daily. Tracey the manager, she is amazing… so frien - The cleanness of this property was out of this world!! Nothing.

- Sthabile (10/5): Exceptional - Quietness...shops were very close to us.neatness.safe Nothing.
- Nosipho (7/5): Good -
- Prashanthi (9/5): Comfy, clean and well maintained - It was comfy, clean and well maintained. The property itself was beautiful. We liked the fact that the beds got made everyday & towels were changed, that was a nice bonus that we didn't know about. If you have a very big car, parking can be tight. There were a lot of bugs, but that's no fault of there's - we just brought our own insect repellant plug along. We're not 100% sure about the location, it did feel a little dodge at night, especially with no street lights.
- Mbongeni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thuli (8/5): Very good -
- Pearl (8/5): We had a good stay overall. Host was great and professional. Rooms are clean and good - The WiFi did not work well.
- Gonçalo (1/5): Bad - The Lady is completly drunk.
We whait for her more or less 45 m to open the gate.
- Gavin (1/5): Impossible to do any work at Woodlands, even when power was on internet would not work! - Breakfast very basic. No electricity, no water, no internet, no battery back up, no solar. Generator only used to make breakfast.
- Sai (8/5): Very good -
- Jd (9/5): Superb -
- Mlimo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grobbelaar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hendrik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thabo (7/5): Good - the price smell of mould in the room
- Letsoalo (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (8/5): Loved it. Really enjoyed that daytrips to Sabie and Graskop and so many other activities was a stones through away. - Very well located. Comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and went the extra mile assisting with booking a trip to the Kruger. The staff are the real asset at the Woodlands Guest House Swimming pool a bit small. Wifi was not that great. Channels on the TV was limited.
- Bosslady_za (7/5): Tracy an excellent host you can tell she's been in the game for a while - Hospitality was good. Could improve the meals though and offer dinner since place is secluded Please replace your beds. They have seen better days
- Mercia (10/5): Woodlands GH Hazyview 👌 - Tracey is the most wonderful host ever. She helped with everything and informed us of things to do and places to go. - Prinsloo (8/5): It was lovely, I enjoyed my stay there. The reception is... exceptional, the rooms are clean and bea - I loved the room, especially the shower, or rather the bathroom, it was big enough and beautiful. I loved the location also, it's in a quiet place, not far from town. The swimming pool is small, it would be great if it can be made bigger. I prefer a double bed, instead of two twin beds joint together. The wooden floor is a little shakey, making some lil noise as you walk, as if it's gonna fall off.
- Jali (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vuyisile (9/5): It was a lovely and good stay. - The staff was friendly rooms were nice and clean and well ventilated.
