• Lieve (9/5): Wonderful location to stay when visiting Houtbaai. Very friendly reception :-) - Goede locatie in het centrum van Houtbaai dicht bij winkels. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Zeer ruime kamers.

• Nikkitjuhh (9/5): Fantastisch verblijf voor meerdere dagen - Netheid en locatie. De locatie is een goede uitvalsbasis naar zowel cape Point als kaapstad. Je bent vanaf hier in een paar minuten loopafstand op het strand en er zijn diverse restaurants op loopafstand. Wij zijn meerdere dagen verbleven en beviel ons goed! Er is geen airco in de kamer dus als het buiten warmer is , is dat het binnen ook. Wel is er een ventilator.

• imqueen22 (1/5): Be Careful — Not the Room I Booked and very bad treatment - I had a very negative experience with this accommodation and would not recommend it to anyone. I booked and paid for a luxury room at a specific price. However, when I arrived, the luxury room was not available and the situation could not be resolved at the time. I was kept waiting until 6:00 PM and was eventually given a standard room instead, without any price reduction, compensation, or apology for the inconvenience. Additionally, despite having already paid through Booking, the property owner forced me to pay again outside the platform. I was threatened that if I did not make this extra payment, he would come to my room during the night, remove my belongings, and evict me. This situation was extremely distressing and unacceptable. The host showed no willingness to resolve the issue and appeared only interested in collecting payment, while behaving in an intimidating and aggressive manner toward guests. Overall, this was a very unpleasant and stressful experience.

• Markus (8/5): Prima Möglichkeit um am nächsten Tag Kapstadt zu erkunden und dem Traffic-Jam am Morgen zu umgehen - Eine völlig ausreichende schöne Unterkunft in guter ruhiger Lage . Die Lage ist perfekt für alle Ausflüge in dieser Gegend. Das Frühstück gibt es nicht in der Unterkunft sondern eine Ecke weiter im Pelikan Cafe... Frühstück war auch gut aber die Lage nicht zum Verweilen. Trotzdem würde ich wieder kommen.

• FlyProf (9/5): That was a nice short stay in the heart of Hout Bay. - A friend who lives nearby recommended this bed and breakfast to me; he’s sent guests there quite often. The lodge is really laid-back; breakfast is included, and the beach, town, shops, and restaurants are all within walking distance. Lilly is a wonderful host; she takes the time to look after her guests and has plenty of great advice. I would have liked to have had air conditioning, but unfortunately there wasn't any. But there were good fans.

• S.Zander (7/5): - Es war ein gutes Zimmer für eine Durchreise. Der gemeinsame Aufenthaltsraum in der Lobby ist total nett und man kann auch draußen sitzen. Frühstück ist in unmittelbarer Nähe, gegenüberliegende Straße, in einem kleinen Bistro, total lecker. Leider keine Klimaanlage!!!!! Das war sehr schade!!! Fast unerträglich.

Дух тоже достаточно своеобразно организован, не всем будет удобно им пользоваться. В комнате над дверь, под потолком окно, без штор, соответственно поспать долго не получается. Рекомендую не более одной ночи.

• Dee (3/5): Lily was a hardworking angel ! The area suited my needs for contacting friends and family. - Location was good. Lily who does EVERYTHING was lovely but over worked doing the job of 3 people. Owner was overseas. Often no signal with tv Cistern burst on day 3 therefore no hot water for 6 days until new one installed. No provision for maintenance in place . Property requires a facelift - reception area good but remainder quite shabby.

• Megan (8/5): The accommodation was above my expections. - The location and the breakfast. It was a little noisy but to be expected as it is situated on the Main Road. We will definitely be using the accommodation again on our annual holiday to visit family. The stairs!

• Valerie (8/5): Pleasant 1-night stay after a bumpy start. - The wonderful Lily and walking distance to shops, eateries, beach & harbour. You do get what you pay for, and the property needs renovated, but being allocated a dark, ground floor room with no balcony/outlook on check-in, rather than the upstairs much superior room we had booked many months prior was a disappointment. We think the owner had double booked the room but blamed ‘Booking.Com’ for the room allocation… First time we’ve been spun that yarn in 15 years of bookings with them! The situation was rectified by Lily, head of housekeeping taking action & contacting the owner, Alex. What a kind and beautiful lady! The owner, should certainly take notice of how to deal with and speak to his customers from Lily, and even put her in charge of the booking system for you.

• Anja (9/5): Convenient guesthouse in Hout Bay - The guesthouse is located in a quiet area of Hout Bay. To go Hout Bay Habour market you need a car, but there are some restaurants near the guesthouse in walking distance. The good breakfast is served in a nice little Cafe across the street. The room was very well sized and comfortable and the entire house has a beautiful architecture. It was a bit difficult to find the entrance and the parking spots as there was no sign or we did not see it.
• Simone (10/5): Clean, bright and perfectly locatee - Alex and team were so accommodating. We dropped bags early and went out and about. Alex met us with tips about the area. Rooms clean and bright and the B&B was so central which was really handy to walk to the beach, shops etc. we will definitely come back - well priced and worth it.

• - (10/5): - Ich war in dem Self-Catering-Appartment untergebracht mit zwei Zimmern (Wohnküche und Schlafzimmer). Hierzu gehört eine eigene Terrasse mit Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. Das Apartment war zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Gute und neue Matratze.

• christine (9/5): Für zwei Freundinnen war es der optimale Standpunkt, um Cape Town über Silvester genießen zu können - Die Unterkunft war ständig erreichbar, es ist immer jemand da. Das kleine Frühstück Ist direkt Gegenüber und hat sehr leckeres Frühstück Die Betten sind sehr voll komfortabel, und das ist ein angenehmes Klima im Zimmer, durch die Möglichkeit des querlüftens.

• ulrike (1/5): - Gar nichts. War ebenerdig und vom gemeinschaftlichen garten komplett einsichtig, zur strasse hin auf eine mauer zur aussicht. Extrem dunkel. Um privatsphäre zu haben musste man die vorhänge zuziehen und bei neonlich sich aufhalten. Bin nach 1 tag abgereist und bekam nur als antwort: ich bekomme sicher kein geld zurück für die restlichen 4 nächte. Sehr entzäuschende erfahrung. Alles sehr schmutzig, viele Insekten und Insektenfallen mit sehr unangenehmem geruch unterm sofa und bett. Badezimmer schmutzig und genter liess sich nicht schliessen.

• RUSSELL (8/5): We had a lovely stay 😍 - Lilly the caretaker was wonderful.. Kind, efficient.. Lodge is well situated to the beach/harbour, town etc.. Lovely town . It gets very noisey at nite with all the trucks, cars & the scooters , at kfc.. But all in all it was a super stay.. 👌😍🙏 The noise from the kfc and trucks at nite..
