Plenty of adventures activities to do around the area. Cleanliness of towels and bathroom could be payed attention too, towels stinky even when changed for new ones. Breakfast included was not great and dinner buffet over charged for standard of food served.

- Nadine (9/5): Great place for a retreat with friends and family. - It was as wonderful as we remembered it from our last trip 6 yrs ago. As it was SA winter, it was slightly cold. We were in a bigger group and made use of the community room to play dart, ping pong and pool which was made cozy by the staff with the internal heater. The staff are very friendly and supportive. NA

Overall the property is in a park-like beautiful setting with small golf course, great looking pool and cabanas. We were almost the only guests, so the large property seemed a bit empty. We could imagine groups of people having a great time in the cabanas and rooms by the pool, a fun game room with bar, billiards, ping-pong and darts board. We threw some darts, and hit a few balls with the only other guests there ... Dinner and breakfast were good, and perfect to still our hunger. The host was very kind and friendly and went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and happy. Considering we were just passing through for the night, it was a perfect stay. While the property is great for what is offers, it could use some updating and renovations. However, considering it is the only location we found in that area, it was perfect for us.

One let down for me was that I was told a day before moving out that the price I was charged did not include the children but I had booked specifically for me and my 2 children. I was asked to pay extra which took total to almost double the amount I had booked forand I had not budgeted that amount so that was the only let down Being billed correctly and not to be told when Iam there that i have to pay extra that ruined my holiday because I budgeted and paid before hand so that we have enough money to do fun activities

The hotel is situated a few kilometres outside the town of Kareedouw. Unfortunately, Kareedouw is a poor and run down town. It has very little to commend it!

- Dawid (8/5): Very nice place and relaxing place, its just one staff member will make that we won't return. - Nice location, receptionist and most of the restaurant staff were very friendly. A lot of activities to do and the whole overall clean and neat. We got a room upgrade that was great. The resort manager (Frank) was not very friendly nor helpful. Any request a little bit out of the ordinary is not possible, and you get a straight out NO. The Lamb and Bean Stew at the restaurant the first night was a disaster. The was a previously frozen meal that was just heated. We were told a male person (barman?) and he apologized and said that they will not charge for that meal. The rest of the food we got was fine. We did see a big change the next night in service and food wise. 10/10 the next night. At check out when we received our bill with the restaurant charges and the even after we were assured it will not be charged it was still on the bill. When querying the charge, the resort manager just said they won't discount it and we need to pay for it and that's the end of it.

They did not have an electric blanket, yet it is still a chilly especially on a place like Asseggaibosch like a farmland The mounted electrical heater had no impact at all.

The conference center is excellent, and the friendly receptionist adds to the overall experience. A fantastic place! Do think we need electric blankets since its so cold in that area.

- Helna (9/5): Too short. So relaxing and tranquil. Will have to return for a longer stay! - Our room was so spacious, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The different "lounges" outside around the pool are special and comfortable. The food was really good and very affordable. Staff are friendly and helpful. If I have to mention something, I'd say I would have liked some fruit with breakfast. The coffee machine is not fully functional with only 3 options to choose from. There was however coffee and milk in the room.
