• Melina (7/5): - Gemütlich, praktisch gelegen oberhalb des Pubs. Nicht weit von der Metrostation entfernt. Die Fenster waren leider nicht gut isoliert und man konnte den Verkehr stark hören.

• Dawn (7/5): Would happily come back to Prince of Wales as the location and price were fantastic. - Location around the corner from the district line was fantastic - in city centre in 15 mins. Rooms were comfortable and got good quality sleep. Staff went above and beyond and an issue we identified on arrival was swiftly and effectively addressed by Aoife. Aoife made us feel at home and was great fun to deal with. Depending on how light a sleeper you are - there is some street noise when window is open. Would expect that anywhere quite honestly. Property could do with an overhaul and clean up as it was a little tired.

• Spencer (7/5): Good, not sure we’d go back - Lovely staff, comfy bed, pretty homely. Not that is a dealbreaker as we booked a room above a pub so expected some noise but wasnt expecting a full on speed garage night complete with mc’s until midnight lol. Saturday morning the shower wouldn’t work we were out early so none to ask/fix so had to wait until we got back sat late afternoon, turns out the fuse had tripped but no way for us to access it to get it back on, bathroom also not dirty really needs a proper spray with some aftermath mold blast it just looks so Grimm.

• Warren (2/5): - Location Room was very noisy, some black out curtains wouldn’t go a miss! Carpet is disgusting but the main issue was the shower not getting above 14 degrees.
• Sobin (6/5): - Skvělá lokalita, kde ubytování je umístěné 500 metrů od zastávky metra, které bez přestupu jede do centra. Určitě jako hlavní problém je hospoda hned pod ubytováním, kde každý den byl celkem velký rachot až pozdě do noci. Další věci už jsou vce skousnutelné, ale pokoj byl celkem zaprášený a například sprcha tekla horká tak, že se s ní téměř nedalo umýt.

• Rachel (10/5): Fantastic! - Perfect location for an event at the apollo. Kayleigh the manager was extremely welcoming couldn’t do enough for us when we arrived. We arrived just before food ended due to train disruption but the chef worked over to accommodate us. Access to the property was easy and secure after hours. Room was clean and had all the facilities needed. This will be a first choice to return to when we are next in the area. Lovely place thank you for a wonderful stay! Kayleigh is the perfect manager for this establishment she should definitely be recognised for her role! N/A

• Sarah (4/5): Good location and food, but the condition of the room means we wouldn’t stay here again. - We have stayed here before as it’s in a good, convenient location. The food in the pub was good, and it was a nice bonus to receive 10% off food and drink. The bedding was clean and the bed itself was comfortable enough. Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing. We were given the same room as before, but it had a noticeable damp smell, likely due to the age of the building. The carpet was quite grubby with visible stains, which may have contributed to the smell. My husband also didn’t sleep well and felt the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

• Barbara (10/5): - La camera da letto ha delle dimensioni molto superiori alla media di Londra. Enorme e molto bella. Il bagno ha delle dimensioni inferiori ma assolutamente perfette. Con due finestre. La posizione sopra il pub è stata perfetta per noi. Il tortino di carne buonissimo. Scelta di birre infinita. Ipa anche leggere per una buonissima notte. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e molto disponibile. La musica è cessata all'orario previsto. Alle 23:00 sino al giovedì; alle 24:00 il verdì ed il sabato. Chiaramente abbiamo fatto chiusura con i clienti abituali. La fermata della metro (Linea District) è a due passi. Circa 25 minuti per Regent Street. Dieci minuti a piedi e si trova Hammersmith. Nulla.

• Charlton (9/5): Very lively pub, very comfy beds, 10% of food and drinks when staying there. - It was a good for location for what we needed, we’re attending an event at The Eventim Apollo. We left quite early before the pub was open and weren’t told what the code was for the chain on the outside gate but we just climbed over easily enough.

• April (9/5): Hidden Gem - fantastic stay , and we will definitely be back - What a hidden gem! Perfect for if you're attending a nearby show at the Eventim Apollo ( only 10 mins walk away) When we arrived had a lovely welcome from the gentleman behind the bar (sorry didn't catch your name) he checked us in and explained everything, including that we would receive a discount on drinks and food bought within the pub . Then he took us out of the bar , through the pub garden and into the guest area . He explained the door code entry and escorted us up the stairs to the accommodation area. Our room was then up another flight of stairs at the top of the building. The room was much larger than expected , with a settee , chairs and two tv's . The bathroom had a bath with shower over head ( the shower wasn't working but this was known when we booked the room) There were plenty of towels and a good range of toiletries provided. Tea and coffee making facilities and again a good range of drink options provided. The room was very clean and bed extremely comfortable. We also had dinner and drinks in the pub - the pub itself was vibrant and friendly with a great atmosphere , and a large dining area to one side . The food was very good value and delicious - both of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Every member of staff we encountered during our stay couldn't have been more helpful . Cant wait to find an excuse to go back! There was nothing at all that we didn't like - the only thing to say is the stairs maybe a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

• Lee (2/5): Very tatty, not as described and dirty. - It was in a good location The room was not as described. The roof was damp, the carpet did not fit the room, the tv aerial was broken, the blind did not open, the plug was broken and hanging off, the bathroom shower had mould, the tv cable bracket was hanging off and the shower tubing was black with dirt and the shower head that is adjustable was broken so couldn’t be heightened and kept slipping down.
• Kevin (8/5): Lovely stay - Great location for the Apollo theatre, friendly staff and clean and tidy rooms. No breakfast served at the weekends before 10am. If you go o bed early this place isn’t for you as the noise/music from the pub goes on till midnight

• Céline (3/5): Net groter dan de trapkast van Harry Potter - Het lag dichtbij het metrostation. We kregen een kamer die niet overeen kwam met wat wij geboekt hadden. De kamer was net een paar vierkante meter groter dan de trapkast waar Harry Potter in sliep. Vieze vlekken op het dekbed. Keken uit op een terrein met allemaal afvalbakken. Er was een klein raampje. Dat was het enige daglicht. Er was geen normale spiegel in de badkamer. Ook geen stopcontact. De medewerkers boeide het niet toen ik dit aangaf en waren ook niet bereid om mee te denken naar een oplossing.

• dePingoneo (8/5): - Location is too. Underground station under 2min. High Street is quite close (5min). Clean. Dogs are allowed inside the facilities. This is not only unhygienic but it is also a risk for those of us with severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis). This was not informed beforehand. Also, breakfast and dinner times are different from those advertised. You can read dinner is served til 22pm on both the internet and the menus in the rooms but it's actually until 20. We got to the pub at 19:59 (which was unfortunate) but the real disappointment comes with the girl waitress / owner's attitude when she bluntly said "we just closed" (emphasis on 'just') giving us no more info. Another waiter was kind enough to let us know the times are wrong. They do know foreign people go there, guests, not everyone speaks English and frankly, it's not the guests' fault the information is misleading. Providing a cold snack would have resolved the issue. Apologizing and informing us about the situation would have been appropriate.

• sonja (4/5): Kayleigh and staff good but accommodation poor - Location and staff, in particular Kayleigh who was friendly and helpful Family room we stayed in was dark and carpet needed a good hoover and shampoo. Cobwebs in room. No mattress protector in place, although mattress looked clean, it is a basic requirement these days. The tv over bed didn’t work and tv in sitting area stopped working early day two of stay. This was reported but unable to fix during our stay. Tiled bathroom floor looked old and dirty. Shower poor. We didn’t feel we wanted to spend any time in the room.

• Derek (4/5): - Location was good Greeted by a surly blond woman,whose first question was have you paid,showed her my confirmation 'oh so you have she then showed us to our room the only information she gave us was the key/ number identification entering and exiting the building.The room we were given the lambeth's bridge room was probably the only one not shown on their website and not refurbished, the bathroom had a pull down blind which I think was stained by blood,the shower in the room was disgusting we did not use it the shower head was brown and grotesque. The room was small and basic but overall we was disappointed. By the way whilst we were waiting for the blond woman getting the key we noticed the bar which had a excellent selection of beers etc we were tempted by drinking in the bar but after our greeting and our room we decided not to bother at all over the weekend. Contrast that to the staff of the pubs and restaurants by the river who were friendly and welcoming would we comeback to hammersmith yes we would but we would not stay at the prince if Wales townhouse
• Martin (4/5): Nice enough pub. Although rooms look okay on web site. I guess that was when they were new. - We were a couple staying for the rugby in Twickenham. Nice bar area downstairs, with shuffleboard etc. The rooms didn't feel clean. Thick dust on light fittings & skirtings. Bathroom was tired & shower didn't work. It was too hot and would not go to a cool setting.

I will visit again. - Ideal location, friendly welcoming staff, clean comfortable room, very nice pub downstairs with good choice of food and drinks at reasonable prices… a special thanks to the team for being so accommodating of my booking error, when I thought I had booked for two nights… and found I’d only booked one. Fortunately another room was available and the staff relocated me without fuss.

• Lesley (9/5): Comfortable rooms, good food ,close to tube. - Had made a theatre booking and this was quite close to the theatre. We were made very welcome by the staff and had a nice meal. We liked the fact that each room was named after a London Bridge and had a plaque with information. Beds comfortable ,nice hot showers. I even got involved with impromptu help, with a christening taking place that afternoon, putting up a few decorations in the bar. The tube station is very close. Everything was great.

The food was also of a high quality Very noisy late at night due to a function being hosted one evening, carpets required cleaning
• Nick (10/5): Amazing property, would highly recommend - The location was excellent for a concert we were going to at the Hammersmith Apollo. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The food was amazing and good value for money. The only downside was we didn’t get the chance to have the breakfast but I bet it would be just as amazing as the evening meal. However if you want a good breakfast go to “Another Brother” around the corner from the property. The food was delicious especially the cinnamon porridge. The property is about a 10 minute walk from the tube station. Overall it is a lovely place to stay. The traffic is bad on a night but that is not the property’s fault
• Karen (7/5): It was ideal for what we needed. - We love d the location. It was close to the tube station and where we parked. It was right on a main road which was very noisy. The rooms were too hot and in need of a clean and decorating.

• Branko (9/5): Very nice staff. - Very friendly staff. Comfy bed. Just around the corner from Ravenscourt underground We had a basic room. Not fancy but clean and comfortable , with kettle for tea and coffee.

• Leonardo (3/5): Pessima pulizia - Posizione Stanza poco sicura, il cancello che porta alle camere dalla strada non sempre era chiuso. Pulizia assolutamente pessima: barba sul lavandino, polvere e sporco a terra, finestre che non si chiudono bene, un piccolo verme sul comodino, lenzuola sporche.
• Michael (9/5): - The manager was outstanding from start to finish, a professional to her fingertips and whoever the owners are Don't lose her! The rooms were both spotless and very comfortable all in all both location wise and for the friendliness its an excellent place to stay. Minor i looked for a late rink and although I was a guest I was refused but nothing major.
