- Kieroth (8/5): Die Unterkunft war soweit gut. - Der Pool könnte nicht genutzt werden.
- Marjorie (5/5): - The pool looked nice ac worked well bathroom and sheets and towels clean clean fridge Floors were not vacuumed and full of crumbs
Bed was very uncomfortable couldn’t sleep left at 6 am before breakfast because our backs were killing us
- Dwight (1/5): -
- KristaHiatt (10/5): Perfect!! - Perfect experience! Check in was quick and the lady at the front desk was lovely. (I hope your husband had a great time at his volleyball tournament)! Our room was clean and comfortable. My son and I both slept great (pillows were amazing). Will definitely stay again and would recommend.
- markzS8209OL (10/5): Enjoyable stay - Large clean rooms and conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Bardstown. Breakfast was ok but it could have been hotter, especially the biscuits and gravy.
- Cecilia (7/5): - Staff Oldish

Bidet Room was dingy and felt outdated.
Super low ceiling in the bathroom.

- Melanie (10/5): Perfect - Perfect location. Very clean& beds, pillows were so comfy. Nothing
- Gaye (8/5): Nice staff and great location. - Location
- TomTCB (6/5): Stay on back side of hotel - I stayed for 3 Nights lots of noise on the front side of the hotel (not BW‘s fault). RECOMMEND YOU ASK FOR A ROOM ON BACKSIDE OF HOTEL (even numbers).
Breakfast served 6 to 9 picture taken at 7:30 Usually they have bagels, muffins, pastry of some sort.
Staff were friendly and accommodating with reservations.
- Mike (10/5): Wonderful stay staff was great - Clean friendly Nothing
- Anders (9/5): - Bra och enkelt, bra läge. Trevlig personal
- reneehH4838UH (2/5): Spend the extra money on a better hotel - The room was very dirty. All of these good reviews are confusing. There was hair all over our room (not ours), hair on our beds, in the bathroom, and the remote and bidet controller had crust. We used a black light on the second bed in our room and there were loads of mysterious stains. We also had to wait 20ish minutes to check out because the guy who was supposed to check out was in the breakfast area with the other worker and all they had was a sign up saying they would be right back so we had to go find the person. The walls are also paper thin so we could hear our neighbors coughing. Breakfast was fine, they leave the milk for cereal out un refrigerated so that can’t be food safe but all the other food was fine.

- Mary Ellen (10/5): Wonderful - I didn't go to the breakfast. I like staying at this hotel because it is within walking distance of Church and the town. It is quiet and well cared for. The only suggestion I have would be to clean up the sitting area in the back. I enjoy sitting out there to read and relax but the tables needed cleaning as well as the chairs and floor.
- Myra (8/5): - The room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was good. There was a large group that hung out by the pool and smoked. Our room was located in this area. i would prefer a non-smoking property.
- Mildred (10/5): It was perfect for the night's sleep we needed. We were well rested for our journey home. - It was quiet, extremely clean. Had everything we needed. Staff was awesome, friendly and understanding. The soda vending machine was broken but the evening clerk provided us with 2 sodas at no charge. Now that is accommodating your guests with exceptional service. They needed signs for the vending machines being out of order.
- M8637BOjosephs (10/5): Excellent 3 days! - Had a wonderful time! Place was easy to get to, easy to park at, room was great, breakfast was excellent and on time. Very well lit and walking distance from downtown Bardstown. Special shout out to Lisa who took care of us each morning!
- statically (10/5): Definitely booking here again - Convenient location, room was sparkling clean and the staff is wonderful. Special thanks to Lisa in the Wheelhouse breakfast hall, she made sure everything was good and is very kind. I will book this location again on my next trip to Bardstown.
- Darlene (4/5): Was not enjoyable or comfortable due to bad mattress & incredibly rude breakfast woman - Checking in with Hannah, very pleasant young lady. I had requested 2 extra pillows on the bed when I booked the reservation and the pillows were not on the bed when we checked in. I went back to the desk to ask for the pillows, Hannah said she didn't know where they were kept, but would find out and bring them to me. She did within just a few minutes. Mattress was spongy/lumpy with no support, needed to be replaced. Made trying to sleep difficult as was uncomfortable and uneven. I was also verbally attacked by the Breakfast person the 1st morning. I was waiting to use the waffle maker & when the person b4 me was done she was hovering and told me to use the spray before I could reach for it, like I was 12 yrs old. Grown adult that knows how to use a waffle maker and don't need to be ordered around. While sitting with my husband having our breakfast this person comes up to the table and starts verbally attacking me yelling. She claimed that she "asked me" I replied, "No, you didn't ask me anything, you ordered me to do what you said as if I were a 12 yr old kid" Then she was yelling at me telling me that she was sorry I was angry coming in for breakfast and having a bad day? WTF, Where do you get off attacking me at our table when we're minding our own business for starters, but then yelling and telling me that I was angry when I came in for breakfast? Lady, I was just fine until you were hovering and ordered me to do something your way when you didn't give me a chance. Absolutely unprofessional and incredibly freaking rude. This woman should not be dealing with the public if she feels that verbally attacking people is ok??? They also allow their cleaning staff to come into eat breakfast 30-40 minutes before breakfast hrs are over cleaning out what's there. They stepped right in front of me and took all the eggs/sausage one morning. Then another morning they had taken most of the bread jamming it into both toasters, when it popped up I was still standing there waiting to use a toaster while they sat yacking totally ignoring that they were blocking me from using the toaster. I'm not going to touch someone else's food so after a few minutes I finally said, "Is someone making Toast?

- NYC74 (8/5): - Las instalaciones, la ducha, el estacionamiento y el desayuno.
- Terrioche (7/5): - The locating was within walking distance to historic downtown. Water pressure in the shower was great. Breakfast was fresh and hot. Free parking. Paper thin walls, you could clearly hear your neighbors and their conversation

- Thelma (10/5): Great stay, would stay here again without reservation. - Great location , able to walk to the historic district and shops. Clean comfortable and quiet rooms. The conference hall used for morning breakfast was great and the breakfast selection, quality and flavors were great. Very friendly breakfast and cleaning staff, went out of their way to assist.
- John (1/5): - Dirty & Smelly….. we refused to stay and asked for a return of funds…. It was ridiculously bad
- Dana Mark (8/5): -
- DOSSETT (8/5): - Breakfast was good. No indoor pool for the kids
- Wayne (10/5): -
- B7403TFjohnc (8/5): Newly remodeled motel with a wonderful staff - This motel has recently been remodeled and it shows. We have stayed at the General Nelson a number of times and always found the staff helpful and the facility a good value. Now that it is remodeled, it is even better. It is clean and comfortable.
- Mollie (6/5): - Convenient to the downtown area- could walk to the shops, restaurants and bars. The floor was not clean in our room and it had a very stale smell.
- Albert M. (9/5): Nice place to stay and I would stay there again if rates were similar to what I paid. Staff was very friendly. - Convenient, comfortable accommodations and friendly staff at a fair price. Also there was a store open 24 hours right next store that was similar to a 7-11 but had much higher quality hot foods. The outdoor pool was closed and looked like it hadn’t been open for a while.
- Jay (8/5): -
- lisa (7/5): -
- Tammy (10/5): - Room is very clean, staff are all so sweet, and the breakfast is very good too! We had a very pleasant stay and room temp and bed comfort was great! We will def stay again even though it’s not a huge room and it’s an older hotel, it’s well kept up. Great location too!
- Dave (10/5): - Always a great place to stay.
- Margaret (4/5): - I chose the motel so that we could walk into town, and the location was fine for that purpose, especially since we had one night stay. However the white shower curtain had 2 inches of red bacteria stain at the bottom edge, indicating it had not been washed or sanitized in some time. The bathroom seemed clean but the shower curtain had been hooked over the hand bar, indicating the housekeeper had seen the red and ignored it. That night there was a loud party outside our room and in an adjacent room that went on until after midnight. Finally, the coffee was gone when we went to get some before they closed breakfast at 9am (on a Sunday!).
- Robert (1/5): Probably not again - The town is nice, staff was friendly Room wasnt clean, found a used condom by the night stand, staff was nice and placed us in another room and took 25% off the bill. The second room was cleaner but smelled like smoke and found prior tennants trash still in the drawers. People a couple rooms down were out with loud music and yelling until around 2am. But honestly I don't think the roomchange and discount it was enough and we should have left..
- Maureen (6/5): - Was an ok place to stay.
- Valerie (10/5): - I have nothing to say bad about the stay at my hotel the breakfast is great the workers are great especially the worker name Paige she's a wonderful woman and the manager/owner Ray was awesome I would recommend this hotel to anybody
- Michael (10/5): - Clean room, bathroom had all new fixtures.
- Daina (10/5): - Perfect location for BourbonFest
- Jeremy (8/5): - Room was clean, bed was comfy. They offered free hot breakfast with your stay. My only disappointment was the fridge didn’t get cold enough, and the pool wasn't available
- Jesse (8/5): Quite and relaxing - For ascetics the pool drained and covered. Other than that everything else was pleasing.
- Ethan (10/5): - Very friendly and very accommodating and super nice staff.
- Tracy (8/5): Good location clean no frills - Great location for walking to downtown area. Clean, not fancy. Good free breakfast on premises. Would stay again.
- Heather (7/5): - Bed and pillows were comfy Pool was full of green algae.
- Lee (9/5): -
- Marissa A (6/5): - Okay stay
- Marlyss (10/5): Conveniently located, and was a pleasant , quiet stay. Thanks ! - They have a good hot breakfast. Room was comfortable and clean. Liked the gazebo.
- Steven (6/5): We get it - We get what Best Weatern tried to do. Turn a very old hotel into a modern one and for us it just didn’t work. It seems very outdated still and the rooms are very small. We had a baby so we brought a pack and play and it could barely fit in the room. There is a spacious room near the bathroom but we just don’t know what it could be used for. Cheap option, but I’d rather stay in Bardstown at the Fairfield for more money. It was not bad, just wasn’t for us. On the plus side, it was the best breakfast we had on our Bourbon Trail trip. The cooks cared enough to make us fresh biscuits, eggs, and sausage. Definitely a positive
- NanceeW (6/5): - Room itself was a good size Noisy room dark beds uncomfortable bathroom was cramped but didn't need to be
- Candace (8/5): -
- Sadler (8/5): Nice clean place. - Very clean nice room. Bed was comfortable and pool was nice and clean
- Stephanie (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Brenda (10/5): Clean room, Friendly Staff - Clean room, friendly staff. Missed breakfast both days. They close it down at 9 am. That was the only downside. The grounds were nice. We were able to sit out in the gazebo and met new people. I would definitely recommend this place.
- Jessica (6/5): -
- Robert (8/5): Terrible - Stay was great but house cleaning is very very poor!
- Lynda (10/5): - Check in and out was no problem at all; the room was adequate; bathroom had a bidet! Loved that! Very roomy bathroom; bed and pillows were very comfortable; swimming pool was clean, had a spa area in the pool; breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff made me and my sister feel at home. The location is PERFECT for visiting downtown Bardstown and My Old Ky Home. I’m not big on motel stays but this was an excellent choice and I highly recommend it.
The only issue is that the bathtub was a little slippery so be aware of that. Otherwise excellent 2 night stay!
- John (8/5): -
- Daniel Evans (6/5): -
- Tracey (9/5): - Convenient Need to add additional towels and hand towels
- Speir (9/5): -
