The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast — it was absolutely delicious! Chef Sabre is especially kind and welcoming. He always greets guests with a big smile, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere every morning. The breakfast options were tasty and varied, and I truly enjoyed every meal. Highly recommended!
- aruniw88 (6/5): Elan Hotel: Prime Location, Basic Comfort - Elan Hotel Istanbul is conveniently located in the Beyoğlu area; just a 5-minute walk to Galata Tower, 200 meters to the metro, and close to the Beyoğlu Tunnel. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The washrooms were very clean. We stayed for two nights and received room service during our stay. However, the room was quite compact, with a very small sink, and there were some visible damages on the walls. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly. The breakfast was not very impressive, so I’d recommend booking without the breakfast option since there are plenty of great spots to eat nearby. Overall, our stay was pleasant despite a few shortcomings.

- Melahat (10/5): Fantastic - Elan hotel is a excellent choice. The location is near everywhere. It’s very close to Galata Tower, Karaköy, the Galata bridge and Eminönü. When it comes to the hotels stuff. I must say that they are very hospitable. The way I’m used to when it comes to Turkey. The service is great and the breakfast is amazing. You will have a typical Turkish breakfast,which we love. We had a room for 4 people. And it was plenty of space and comfortable beds. The only thing is that you hear the noice from the street. It will be solved with just an earplugs. Last but not least, I want to say that Uğur bey at the reception is a very service minded, genuine and hospitable person. He helped us a lot! We are so grateful to him. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time we come to Istanbul. Thank you Elan Hotel!
- Alireza8290 (8/5): 100% stay again in this hotel - We stayed 9 days in this hotel, here is positive and negetives points: Positive points: best location, 200 meters to Sishane metro station,line M2. Daily room service Breakfast was complete, different kinds of cheese, sausage and etc, recharching any thing runs out. Responsible Manager Helpful employees, good manner, especially reception guys and Serhat. Clean rooms. Safe street for night walking. supermarket is near the hotel. Negetive points: Small room Only 1 water for the first day. The next days you have to pay for water. You can buy 5 litre water for 35 lira from the super market nearby. No slippery in bathroom. You have to bring with yourself. Dark rooms needed more lamps especially for women's make up :) I had problem with safe box and they didn't fix it at all. But finally , I will stay in this hotel again 100%
- shivazbh (10/5): Top 3-star hotel in Taksim - It is a top 3-star hotel. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping service of the hotel and the behavior of the staff were very good. The self-service breakfast had good quality and variety. The location of the hotel is excellent and access to the metro station is only 10 minutes. Distance to Esteghlal St. 10 minutes
- imenetunisia (2/5): WORST HOTEL IN ISTANBUL (HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL) - DO NOT TRUST THE PICS ! The hotel is nothing like this. The rooms are really small and the dining room is nothing like in the pics . Besides , the curtains were dirty, we found a spider in them and the room smelled dusty . But the worst is that the team is highly unprofessional. We stayed for 7 days and on our last day the receptionist exhibited impolite and unprofessional behavior. We had settled our payment on themorning, but when we attempted to leave in the afternoon, they refused to let us go and even closed the door on us. The man accused us of not paying and adamantly refused to engage in a discussion or listen to our explanations. His tone was aggressive, and he was literally yelling. It's important to note that we were not the only ones who had problems with this hotel. On the same day, other travelers encountered similar issues. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel. There are certainly better options available nearby.

- shivazbh (8/5): 7 night stay experience at Elan hotel - My experience of staying at Elan hotel Good points: - great location: only 5 min to sishane metro station, 2 min to Istiklal street, 15 min to Taksim square and 10 min to Galata tower) - polite, responsible & kind staffs. - buffet breakfast: everyday from 8 AM to 10 AM - room facilities: safebox, towels, slippers, hairdryer, tea maker, private bath & toiletries, TV and minibar. - daily room service (cleaning, charging shampoo & soap everyday) - room view: beautiful view of city - safe hotel with trusted staff Weak point: - Wi-Fi: internet at room was teribble and only the internet at lobby could be used !!!!!!! The rooms look to a construction site, with so much noise the whole day

Elevator is very small and annoying. I will not come back again at this hotel , never ever! Furniture is very old and spoiled. Rooms with number xx3 are terrible. Just room 801 has view and all good pics from this room.
- Ymorad (6/5): An Average Hotel - I stayed in the hotel last week for 4 days in a 2 bed standard room, and only the positive and excellent thing of this hotel was its location, it was perfect! The negative points I encountered is such: -Rooms are much smaller than what is shown in the photos. -2-person capacity, very small elevator that in some cases we had to wait for more than 10 minutes. -In a 2 bed standard room, a 250-cc bottle of water is charged daily, one night I requested two bottles of water reception told me its not available at the moment in the hotel if you want to pay your money now to buy it for you from a shop!!! -A very small breakfast salon that in many days we have to share our table with some others -During these 4 days, our room towels were not replaced and placed only for reuse in the bathroom

- Samir (4/5): - This place is awful. Looks somewhat new from the outside but old and tiny when you go in. The issue is the bald guy at the reception desk. He's a conman and very dishonest. I had a paid reservation booked in advance but when I arrived to the hotel baldy said he didn't see one in his system and that I needed to pay for my stay. I even showed him my reservation but he still claimed it was not in the system. These people are crooks, steer FAR from here!!

- Shaista (8/5): Beautiful ocean view room in Beyoglu - Uphill area, opposite to Soho house but I had better views of ocean from my room than Soho.Cabd at times had difficulty finding the area but thankfully it is near Shishane metro station,shishane2 busstop and across the road Shishane 1. Bed is a bit too soft. Rooms are cosy. Wow view and windows open though an annoying drummer group that charged itself at dusk downstairs can be annoying.Loads of good eats and supermarket few steps closer but not suitable for families with stroller as area needs slot of hiking which I enjoyed. Istiklal street ,cafes 2 minutes away. They got a night manager who is pleasant and bell boy helpful. Front desk manager in the morning is not very welcoming though. And he made a mistake with my room without even checking the catagory of booking.Upon my complain he said the ocean view catagory was full. Half and hour later the bell boy quickly arranged my desired room n helped me shift which was prompt. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.Fridge,coffee maker n coffee supplies in room n a mini bar.Breakfast is ample but only between 8to10Am.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location, nicer staff. - My original room had a window that did NOT closer properly so it was noisy for to the air conditioner/ heater units just outside of window. The hotel graciously changed my room for a much quieter over while I was out sightseeing. The room was small but adequate. The bed was comfortable and wifi was good. Breakfast was quite nice including a self service cappuccino machine. The location was great, just a few minutes walk from the lovely pedestrian only street. Only criticism was the airport shuttle which cost 25 Euros and was 1 hour late. The hotel is easily reached by there metro which is how I left to go to the airport. The metro cost only a few Turkish lira and is only about 400 meters away from the hotel.

- steven (2/5): Hotel lacks comfort and customer care - Room had very strong smell of cigarettes,bed contained dirty bedding sheets. The curtain pole was held up by toilet role.When attempting to use the shower the water pressure constantly flactuated and risk of hot water burns increased. The staff were constantly reminded to ensure that toiletries were replenished.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quaint hotel with a great view. - The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to help. The manager was excellent and did everything he could to make our stay perfect. If we go back to Turkey, we will stay here.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great staff - Staff were great, helpful with whatever our needs were. Room was comfy and very clean. Would definitely recommend. Close to taxim sq, galata tower and if you like to walk it's about 30mins to spice bazaar.
