• Martin (8/5): - Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean with with Shampoo and soap. I ate twice in the restaurant. It took a while, but both times the food was good and a great value. It is 3 stories and I was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. It seems they should have a porter to help with luggage up the stairs.

• Conrad (4/5): Good, but... - Large bed, excellent shower, staff were always on hand, swimming pool and onsite restaurant. Location was good and easily serviced by trikes and taxis. Walking distance to the malls. No facilities to have a coffee in the morning, we were on the top floor and the air conditioner was no match for the heat, our room was like a sauna, day and night.

• Rasmus (9/5): Good value for the money - Friendly staff, good value for the money The pool is a little bit small but it is okay for a few people. It could be a little bit closer to the center but it is still walking distance.
• David (10/5): - The Boomerang Hotel is a fine place to stay with their incredible staff, service and awesome hotel rooms! I've had much experience with traveling, hotel stays throughout my 26 year Army career, but the security, and superb respectful staff, as the kitchen, dining facility is superb and all soo reasonably priced, from meals to drinks! The Boomerang Hotel is a must stay, 5 Stars all the way, everyday and I'll be returning soon! Thanks Boomerang for your super accommodations!

• Norman (6/5): - To be told on arrival that we were consigned the worst room without a window or any sort of a view from outside because we booked online was upsetting. Even though we paid more than their cash rate. The rooms were clean, but a 32 inch TV, is not acceptable in 2024. The air-conditioning is old noisy and tired and needs urgent replacement. We paid another 530 a night to "upgrade" so i wouldnt have to traverse the 20 steps. Our room had a remote for the AC that would not work, we found out the unit was manual. Crazy. Then their penny pinching policy of only supplying 3 pillows when their website says 4. A rort to extract 50 pesos . And the duty manager leaves at 6pm not to return until 8.30 am. So most of the time the hotel runs on remote control where the stafff cannot make a decision. The saving grace was the staff. Polite, helpful and friendly. But i get the impression they miss some proper leadership. With absentee owners this is most important. I could not recommend this hotel as there are better, cheaper alternatives available.

The room was well furnished and comfy, staff friendly and assisted with the small issue we reported at the short notice. The bathroom and jacuzzi could have been better cleaned before our arrival. Good overall hotel appearance in the quiet area with on site parking, still close to shops and restaurants and the Walking street

• James (4/5): NO LOYALTY TO LOYAL CUSTOMER - To start with, we were put into the 2nd floor room 20, no elevator, that had a television wanting to charge me for any program I watched. Despite the efforts of 2 maintenance men, they could not correct it. So, we were shuffled into room 18. Nice room. Nice enough, that we booked extra nights through Hotels.com for which over a week later I am still waiting for credit for my nights stayed. Next, as we were enjoying dinner at the Boomerang restaurant there was a man who was so drunk he was unable to walk past the pool without assistance. In disbelief we watched him being placed onto a bar stool at the bar. The next day he was taken out of the hotel by emergency personnel (a heart attack we were told by staff). We were OK with all that had gone on until we asked to stay more nights in room 18. We were told NO because a SMOKER had asked for a room with an outdoor balcony so he could smoke. That is GREAT because we discovered PRIME ASIA HOTEL where we had a 2-story room with appliances, and were treated with respect 100% of the time. It has a rooftop pool and connected restaurant. Disrespect is all I will say about some BOOMERANG lobby staff!!! Never again.
• Gary (6/5): - The hotel is ok..maybe a little over priced for the area...room was ok and staff was fine...Unfortunately we ordered a meal the first night and it was good up until we found a large fly in the mashed potato...no joke!!!!..We brought this to the attention of the staff at the time and there was no follow up at all...Piss poor effort and is the reason I would NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN...there are much better options around...I rarely write harsh reviews but THE FLY IN MY SOUP episode and non existent follow up was a poor business decision!!!!!

• William (10/5): Great Stay for the Price for Sure - I have stayed here 10+ times, and I am happy to say the Boomerang remains the same. Nice, comfy, off- (but not too far off-) the beaten path place with very friendly and helpful staff and management, good food and quiet. A light over or by the bathroom mirror would be a plus, especially for shaving, but other than this one small complaint, I find the Boomerang a superb accommodation.

• Mark (10/5): Great value for money hotel!! - We stayed here for six nights, two rooms as the nanny was with us. The service was excellent throughout, really helpful and polite, especially as we needed hot water for our baby's bottle and warm her food. The food and service in the restaurant is great, freshly cooked and good portions where sometimes one meal is enough for two. Great courtesy car service. Looking forward to going back next year!!

Decent sized room. Staff was friendly. Room service and food was good, especially the beef with noodles.Hot water was good. Laundry service. Pool was kept up. Good wifi. Decent price for this hotel. Overall I would stay here again I think. Cons: there is no weather strip in between the door and door frame so you hear doors slam all the time, problem can be easily solved for cheap. It wouldn't be a problem if people were considerate and closed their doors lightly but that's not the world we live in apparently. The local road to hotel is beat up, if your car is low to ground it may be an issue. Not really an area for family, if visiting the city with family I suggest Clark zone since it is safer and more conservative.
