Shower head could have been better as you had to hold it for the duration of your shower due to the angle and rigid height. Appreciate weather wasn’t in height of summer but more could have been made up for balloon terrace viewing..but minor points..overall stay good.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff truly makes all the difference — everyone was incredibly polite and helpful. Omar and Fatma, who are responsible for the hotel; Enayat, who welcomed us and helped us with everything we needed; and Eka, the cook who makes the best scrambled eggs in the world!! A rich and filling breakfast, a magnificent hotel, spacious terraces, and a great location to watch the hot air balloons against the stunning backdrop of Göreme.

The location is perfect and the view is beautiful. The breakfasts are delicious, and the service makes you feel like you're in your own dining room. Additionally, there's a travel agency at the reception that can help you organize all your tours at more competitive prices than online rates. I recommend choosing the suite; although it's more expensive, you get a beautiful terrace. I was very happy and satisfied with my choice of this hotel.

- Anne (10/5): Formidable ! - Roc of Cappadocia est un petit hôtel familial plein de charme, tenu par une famille turque adorable. Nous avons été accueillis par la mère qui fait tout son possible pour que ses "invités" se sentent comme chez eux. L'hôtel est idéalement situé, au pied du sunset view point et à 2 pas du centre de Göreme, tout en étant au calme. L'hôtel s'articule autour d'une multitude de terrasses absolument magnifiques, verdoyantes, avec plein d'espaces aménagés avec des balancelles, des transats, ou encore des tapis et coussins au sol. La piscine est très belle également, pas surpeuplée du tout. Les chambres offrent un décor typique avec tout le confort nécessaire. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec omelette fraîche et fluffy pancakes préparés spécialement pour vous. Un grand choix de choses sucrées et salées, des spécialités du pays préparées maison. Tout est très propre également. Nous avons adoré notre séjour !

L'équipe entière était au petit soin, réactifs, disponibles et très sympatiques ! La chambre était typique, le lit très confortable et la salle de bain très spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré

- Sandra (7/5): - De locatie is ok. De kamers zijn net. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid. Wij waren er toen er veel wind stond en de ballonnen niet over Goreme vlogen We hadden via de eigenaar gevraagd om een ballonvaart in een andere vallei te regelen. We zouden in de namiddag alles regelen. Toen we terugkwamen van onze wandeling had de eigenaar de plaatsen al aan een andere gast verkocht, zonder ons even te contacteren, Gezien er maar enkele ballonnen in die vallei vliegen konden we hierdoor geen andere ballon meer boeken. De andere excursie die we via hem boekten (quads) was ook erg druk en bleek achteraf te duur voor die periode. Conclusie. Het hotel zelf is nog wel redelijk maar excursies boek je beter elders. Het zwembad is trouwens erg klein.

- rasmusbjoern (10/5): Outstanding staff, views and location! - We have stayed 7 nights at the absolutely fantastic “Roc of Cappadocia”. The whole experience has been amazing! The family run cave hotel offers spacious rooms, excellent wifi and the staff are doing thier outmost to service their guests and doing a wonderful job at it. There are terrasses, plants and flowers all over and incredible views of the hot air balloons in the early morning. Location: Perfectly situated between the city center and the sunset spot over Göreme which are both just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Are short hike of 15 minutes takes you to the Göreme Open Air Museum. Breakfast: Plentiful with a wide selection of local dishes. The staff are quick to replenish and make fresh omelets. Tours offered: We went on a sunset ATV trip, Red Tour and Green Tour all booked from the reception. Best prices and info we found in Göreme and the trips where outstanding with great guides and drivers. Note: We celebrated the birthday of my brother while here and the staff bought and brought a fantastic birthday cake to our room as a surprise from the hotel. Most amazing experience!

La mamá del anfitrión nos recibió, debido a que él estaba con un problema personal, y fue super amable. No hablaba inglés y se esforzó mucho por hacerse entender. Because it is a cave and the rock gives off dust, having more decoration makes you feel that it is not clean. I think they should remove flowers and carpets and it would look more authentic and cleaner since the dust falls from the rock and would be cleaned daily and would not accumulate, especially on the carpet.,

The property is absolutely beautiful, the breakfast every morning was delicious, the staff were amazing, and the views were stunning. I had the room with the private terrace which was nice to spend time there throughout the day. But if you don’t get that room, there are other terrace that you can relax on that are just as beautiful too! Also, this hotel is great for the balloon viewing as well! So many spots on the property that you can watch from. Close to town which was great and not too far uphill (so you don’t have to worry about the walk!). If you want to catch a taxi, the taxi station is about a 5 min walk away

- Sasha (10/5): Absolutely amazing! Lush garden stay amongst the fairy chimneys. - Wow is all I can say! This was the perfect hotel for our stay in the region. Located just up a small hill from the Main Street in Goreme the hotel was perfectly located for exploring town as well as early morning pick ups (we were the last on the bus for each booking we made and the first dropped back). The gardens are absolutely stunning with flowers and fruit (apples and grapes which were edible off the vine in September). There were several terraces and relaxing areas to enjoy the garden and view, and it was always peaceful. I had the space to practice yoga on the terrace in shade or sun pending on the weather. We very much enjoyed the pool, the water was fresh and cold and there were some loungers to enjoy the sun. Breakfast was a huge spread with plenty of options: cheese, salads, olives, spreads, cookies, cakes, and fresh made items such as chips, doughnuts, French toast, pancakes, gozleme, omelettes depending on the day. We had no issues with parking during our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable - the bed and pillows were perfect. If we returned to Kapadokya I would 300% stay here again! I have nothing I didn’t like. My only suggestion to the property would be to maybe put out smaller servings of each dish at breakfast and replenish as needed as sometimes a few of the cakes, biscuits etc were a bit stale. However there were so many options I wasn’t disappointed, it may just help reduce food waste.
- Nicole (8/5): - Die Lage war einfach ein Traum. Angelegt mit vielen Terrassen und Aussichtspunkten über die Stadt und auf die morgendlichen Ballonfahrten. Gemütliche Zimmer. Freundliches Personal. Das Auto kann direkt auf der Straße vorm Hotel geparkt werden. Es wäre schön, wenn der Außenbereich etwas gepflegter wäre. Es wirkte auf uns so, als wenn die Saison abgeschlossen wäre und alles in den Ecken herumliegt. Auch müssten die Terassenmöbel mal wieder gestrichen und die Auflagen erneuert werden. Ebenso sind kleinere Reparaturen im Zimmer notwendig. Aber alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt.

To sum up our experience was wonderfully wonderful. The breakfast is delicious and it is not the same everyday, it changes from a day to another.
- Paul (10/5): A quiet, enchanting place just a short stroll from the heart of town. - Our family of five enjoyed staying in three cave rooms, each with its own simple yet unique style. The relaxed ambiance, highlighted by the patio’s plants and shade-giving trees, made afternoons especially pleasant. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They helped us arrange a balloon trip, a private guide to ride along in our rented van, and tickets to a Turkish dance show. They even surprised our twin girls with a delicious chocolate cake for their birthday. Truly a wonderful experience! One small tip: if you walk up the hill for the beautiful sunset views, be sure to note your exact route for the way back. The winding roads can make it easy to take a wrong turn when returning to the hotel. It was perfect for what we wanted.

- Dóra (10/5): Stellar***** - Realising you’re pretty much tied to your hotel in Göreme, we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Town center is just a quick walk away - close enough so you can reach anything, but far away so it’s not noisy. Learning most of the local activities take place either in the morning or in the evening, midday relaxing at the pool was priceless! One of the viewing points of Göreme is located right above the hotel - you can enjoy pretty much the same view that other people pay for and travel to! We woke up in the mornings, and went out to either hotel balconies to watch the hot air balloons in our PJ’s. We could still have a nap afterwards before enjoying the amazing breakfast. Our host Ahmet’s support was invaluable - we took his recommendations on activities and restaurants, and he kindly arranged everything for us. All our selected activities included hotel pick-up and take back. We could even have a flying dress photoshoot on one of the hotel’s balconies - we could spare the long travel time and inconvenience, and had the same gorgeous view (if not even better). Can only recommend :)

- Jane (10/5): - Loved staying here, came with my 2 daughters, both early 20s, our room was a little smaller than I’d thought, but it was fine as we spent little time in it and the shower was very good and powerful. The pool was great and plenty of terraces to relax in and sample the home grown grapes! Nothing was too much trouble for the host, providing extra towels for us and generally very helpful. Watching the balloons from the terrace was amazing, no need to climb up to viewing point.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au point de reserver une nuit supplémentaire ! Chambre très propre, le wifi marchait très bien, très grande salle de bain, et la climatisation dans la chambre ! Tout parfait ! Je suis très facilement embêtée par le bruit ou la lumière et là je n'ai eu absolument aucun soucis pour dormir. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et local, ruez vous sur les gâteaux et les délicieux pancakes ! Il y a beaucoup d'endroit où se poser pour farniente et location parfaite pour voir les ballons a 6h du matin ! A l'accueil vous trouverez toute l'aide nécessaire pour choisir vos excursions. Nous reviendrons sans aucune hésitations !

Lots of little touches, picking fresh grapes off the vines and serving by the pool, surprise fresh fruit medley upon return, leaving the breakfast open when the kids slept in. Nous avons rencontré de nombreux problèmes durant notre séjour dans cet hôtel : -Nous sommes arrivés, le frigo ne fonctionnait pas... Un comble pour un hôtel qui se dit haut de gamme ! -La climatisation fonctionne mal et s'arrête régulièrement pendant la nuit... -Le gardien de nuit, qui fait des selfies durant ses heures de travail devant la piscine..., vous interdit de vous baigner après une certaine heure hors ça -Le même gardien de nuit nous réveille pour rien pour nous inviter à rejoindre une navette que nous n'avions pas commandée... Il faut vraiment qu'ils apprennent à communiquer entre eux !
